Raymond Mandy sat on a chair in the waiting room. He had received a new counselor because the one he had before couldn't stand him. Of course Dr. Chen had not told him that, but he had caught his drift. This would be his second counselor. He hoped he did not have to keep changing them because he found that to be tiring and irritating. Ray Ray hated sitting in an office for an hour, so he would always act out. The only reason he was being quite now was because he was coloring in a dinosaur. He was trying hard to stay inside the lines, and whenever he messed up he would crinkle up the paper and throw it on the floor. He was not very courteous or nice in public, so he did not care that the receptionist looked at him with anger. Luckily, Michelle would pick the papers up for him. Raymond looked up from his coloring page and scanned the room. There were other people that looked like they were waiting for someone or results on something. He did not really care about them, so he went back to coloring his dinosaur. He had never expected that coloring a dinosaur would be so hard. He looked over to his sister who sat on the other side of Michelle drawing a dinosaur as well. How come she had to make it look so easy? Raymond was getting frustrated. He felt anger boil up inside of him and he threw the stack of dinosaur coloring pages up in the air. Raymond screamed as the papers started to flutter down to the ground. How come things were always so hard? Raymond plopped down on the ground, pulled his knees up to his chest and buried his head in his knees. Ray tried to talk to him, and Michelle sighed and most likely slouched in her chair because her foster child being, well, a child. He wanted things to be easy and go his way, but they just weren't. It annoyed him so much! Ray Ray was just steaming with anger everywhere. Soon, Ravynn just stopped trying to talk to him and rubbed circles into his back. He did not want his sister at the moment. He wanted some help.

Andrew couldn't believe that he had been given a new assignment, without being told. Simply waking him up half way through the night to 'remind' him that he was to be counselling a child was not the way to go. Either way, Andrew got ready for what the day would bring. The man aparated to the office he frequented. He was to meet the child he would be seeing there. Walking into his office, Andrew looked over the child's file, discovering that they were a rather young boy, named Raymond. In his personal opinion, children at an age as Raymond didn't need counselling unless they saw something traumatic, they needed to be heard and to understand that society would not baby them for the rest of their lives. Never-the-less, in his professional opinion, the boy needed to deal with this problem and most likely needed help with it. Apparently he had already had a counselor that left, and suggested Andrew take the case. Andrew glared slightly. He would be having words with Mr. Chen. Especially since the other man new that Andrew had been very busy in his personal life an professional life, it was difficult to juggle several cases at once, since Andrew believed in one-on-one time with his clients.

Andrew heard a commotion of sorts and frowned slightly, leaving the familiarity of his office, Andrew put his hands on his hips and noted that there was a rather cranky looking boy on the floor with several pieces of paper lying on the floor. Before speaking to the boy, Andrew nodded respectfully to the woman he presumed to be his carer. The healer sat down beside the boy, but making sure there was enough room between them so Raymond didn't feel claustrophobic. "There are two ways this can go." He stated in an authorative tone. Andrew had been a healer for awhile, and he had worked with many different kids, with many different reasons for acting how they did, and he found it best to begin with light rules, just so they knew where they stood. Andrew was not a pushover, and he wasn't one to give up. "You can either pick all this up, and we can have our meeting outside in the sunshine. Or, you can sit amongst this mess for the rest of your session and I will just tell you all the rules I'll make up within five minutes. Which would you like?" Andrew liked the outdoors far more than the indoors, which was why his office had an outdoorsy feel with the plants and paintings. He hoped that the boy would see reason and pick up the papers, he had a craving for ice-cream.

Raymond was a dramatic child. He liked making a scene even if it made him look bad. He did not care about what others thought. If he had then he would probably had looked himself in a closet with Rasta to die from lack of physical activity. Raymond looked at the man sitting next to him. He would take him on a walk? Ray was not very excited about it, but he was not angry anymore either. He was somewhere in the middle. He quietly started to pick up the papers. The man was not scary, but he did look weird. At least, that's what he thought. He did not even know the man's name and he was judging him weird. Ray giggled to himself. He stood up with all the papers in hand and offered them to the man. He just assumed the man was his new counselor. He had facial hair, and that was super manly! Raymond giggled again. "Can I touch your hair?" he asked and pointed to one of his cheeks. He just wanted to poke him and feel his facial hair. That's all he focused on at the moment.

The child seemed to be dramatic, but so were all other children. There would be the rare case where a child wasn't greedy, self-centred or dramatic, but those were extremely rare times and they had only ever happened to children that had to care for their parents, as well as themselves. So when Raymond began to pick up the papers, Andrew nodded in acknowledgement and collected the papers off of the boy. "Thankyou." He said, getting up and putting the papers onto the coffee table in the centre of the room. Andrew liked things to be tidy, which was a little bit of a contradiction since his job involved him spending a lot of time with children, who were mostly anything but tidy. Andrew had worked with many children, his line of work called for it. So naturally he cared about children and had met many of them. But never, in all his years as a counsellor, had any of them asked to touch his hair. It was quite unique to this boy and Andrew was dumbfounded, but after a minute to evaluate the situation, he shrugged. Where was the harm? "Sure you can." He stated, nodding slightly. I wasn't sure why Raymond wanted to touch his hair, but what else was he going to say?

After a little while, Andrew clapped his hands together, in order to gain the boys attention. "Now, as promised, we can have our meeting outside. There is a nearby park that I'm sure you will like. Most people like it." He added, nodding to the boys carer, and waited for his response.

Raymond smiled and poked the man's cheek. He let his finger rest there for a second. Trying to describe what it felt like. Painful? No. Sticky? No. Hard? Kind of. Porcupine-ish? Yes! "You feel like a porcupine!" Ray Ray exclaimed happily. He then turned around and started to run around he room making airplane noises. Why was this place so boring? He had dressed up in his favorite outfit expecting some fun. Michelle had forgot his child leash, so she apologized to the counselor for that. Raymond stopped in front of the coffee table. He hated that leash so much. It made him feel so constricted. Ravynn tried to explain to him why he had to be on a leash, but no matter how many time she talked to him about it, Raymond almost ended up hitting her. He did not want to hurt his sister, but his anger was so blind. It was like she was not even his sister when he was angry. Ray Ray shook his head and got read to jump onto the table. He wanted to dance, but he turned to the man because he had clapped for some reason. Raymond looked at him confused. "Park? Can we get ice cream too?" he asked and took the man's hand. He had a feeling the answer would be no. Giving Raymond sugar would get a person arrested for insanity. He could not handle sugar. Weird and strange things alway happened when he was given sugar. He hoped this man knew nothing about that though.
