Seth smelled of salt and sand and sun , as he walked around the harbour in his form fitting tshirt and swim trunks having just come from the beach. Seth was born a son of the surf and had spent most of his life on the beaches of Hawaii or anywhere that had open and amazing swells for him. Seth spent most of his days in his beach home in hawaii but decided to visit New zealand to check out the surf and all of the amazingly attractive people that the young community had to offer. Seth had no where to go and nothing to do so he simply wandered the streets of the harbour with no one direction or destination.

Seth stopped into a few shops and looked around at what they had to offer, but Seth was not a huge shopper like his friends were back home. Seth decided to pick up a soda and crash on a small patch of grass beneath a tree to simply to people watch for a little bit as he tried to figure out what he could do to stay out of trouble. "Idle hands are the devils playground!" Seth said as he smiled and leaned back against the tree.

Chase wandered the streets of Obsidian Harbour, wondering what to do as he looked through a few shops. Nothing good was on sale, and Chase had only recently bought new clothes, so he decided to go and see if there were any people around that he could see as possible future friends.

Spotting a guy sat underneath a tree, Chase approached him with a smile. "Hey There, do you mind if I join you?" He asked, before crouching down next to the guy underneath the tree. "I'm Chase by the way." He introduced himself, holding out his hands for the guy to shake. It had been a long day, and Chase hoped that this guy was a friendly as he looked.

Seth almost laughed as a young guy walked over and asked if he could crash next to him under the tree. I know idle hands are the devils playground, but did the big guy upstairs had to send a playground for his hands to get in trouble on. " Of course you sit I don't own the tree or the grass and your a big... boy" Seth said as he took the guys appearance in, and Seth enjoyed what he saw but now was not the time, or was it. Seth shook the guys handwith a firm squeeze like his dad had taught him growing up "The name is Makwa, Seth Makwa and it is nice to meet you Chase!" Seth said in his thick Hawaiian accent.

Seth leaned his back against the tree as he went on with his people watching, he was unsure as to if the boy wanted to talk to him of simply just need a place to chill but. Seth would wait to see what the boy wanted before putting his foot in his mouth. A warm breeze blew by bringing the smell of the sea with it and Seth closed his eyes and inhaled the warm salty air in as if he was savoring the smell. Seth loved the smell of salt water and so it made him feel relaxed when he got a wif of the familiar aroma.

Chase sat down next to the guy, it felt a bit weird, being sat so closely next to other man. He wondered what the outside world would think of them being sat so closely, but Chase figured that that two men could just be mates having a chat. Taking a good look at the guy as he sat, Chase found him strangely attractive, and wondered if he was a local or if he was just a visitor, or even a newby. Chase certainly didn't recognise him, although Chase had been extremely busy with his family recently.

Chase smiled as the guy introduced himself. "It's good to meet you too Seth." He told him kindly. "So I don't recognise your face...do you live around here?" Chase asked, interested in getting to know this guy a little more. They may have only just met, but Chase still found him too attractive for his own good.

"I am not from this place, I am from the sweet beaches of Hawaii and I am here to surf the waves of new Zealand and scout out all the beautiful people. I went to durmmy before you ask, And I bet you and snobwarts student then!" Seth said as he ran his hand through his hair causing his hair to fall back in his face a little as he turned to the boy sitting rather close to him. Seth could feel the heat from the boys body and Seth swore if he listened hard enough he could hear the beating of the boys heart. Seth if back home would have already kissed the boy and claimed him as his own but since he was not home he decided to play nicely. Seth looked up into the tree and spotted a squirrle looking down at him with an equally puzzled look and so Seth winkwhich caused the small animal to further cock its head as it tried to determine if Seth was a threat. Seth turned his focus back on the guy who he hoped that he did nto offend with his remark but then again what did it matter if the boy felt insulted.

Chase laughed as the guy referred to his school at snobwarts. "I did so it happens...but not here...in New York." He hold him as his American accent began to show through the cracks a little. Chase watched as the boy observed a squirrel who was in the tree. He felt a little awkward as he waited for the guy to finish being distracted by a simple squirrel. Eventually, Chase decided to speak...once he had; had enough of the seriously confused squirrel. "So you're a Durmmy then eh?...Any good there?" Chase questioned the guy in a highly American accent as he tried to create conversation with his new mate Seth. He would bring up the whole gay thing later on...when himself and Seth knew each other a little better, and were actually good friends, not just first time acquaintances.

" Yeah Durmmy was a good school a lot of structure and very serious on education. We also were taught things that would help us in the real world. Overall I did the time and stayed out of trouble so it was aight" Seth said as his slang began to show itself after he heard the boys american New york drawl. Seth had not been to that part of the states yet but that was because he heard the surf was crap in that part of the states. Seth grinned as he stretched a little as he began to feel like a lazy cat basking in the sun. " I hear the surf in New york sucks and that it is full of artsy types."

Chase was glad that the guy seemed to be interested about just about everything. He was nice enough, and Chase would be the first person to say that Seth was most certainly rather attractive. "Well I wouldn't really know...I don't surf...but the seas aren't all that rough so I guess not..." He told him. "And as for artsy types...well I dunno...but everyone's pretty attractive over there..." Chase laughed at his extremely random comment about attractive American's. He would slowly mention the attractive guys, but only when he felt ready to.

"Your attractive as well!" Seth said as he leaned his head against the tree and examined an odd bug he had not see before scurry through the grass. "So did you like New York, and why are you here in New Zealand?" Seth said in a rather indifferent way as though it did not matter the reason as to why the boy was here but more that the boy was in fact in New Zealand. Seth was a rather simple kind of guy and often times spoke with little thought as to what he was saying, in turn it allowed him to be honest and upfront with everyone he met no matter if they liked it or not.

Chase was shocked as Seth called him attractive, he was the last guy he would of expected to be gay. "You aren't so bad yourself..." He replied back flirtatiously, shooting Seth a cheeky wink, then laughing. This felt strange for Chase, he had never met a fellow gay person before. And it being someone that he now rather liked made it even stranger for Chase. "And I moved over here just for pleasure...a place I always fancied living in...but I actually discovered my true family over here...I used to be Chase Grant...my adopted name...now I'm Chase Finnigan." He told Seth, knowing inside that Seth wouldn't care one bit. It was just a useless bit of information about Chase, that he got excited about. Chase loved his biological family, they were amazing, although, he did prefer his old sir-name Grant in all truth, but that didn't matter, his older sister was his best-friend, and the rest, Chase was yet to meet. And Chase could certainly not wait to meet them.

Seth looked at the boy when he called him not so bad looking and blushed ever so slightly, the kid had an innocent charm about himself which made Seth want to smile but he chose not to in case he lead the boy on. Seth did not want to hurt someone like he was hurt by his ex girlfriend and so he tried his best to not get to heavy with anyone. Seth smiled as the boy spoke about his new home and family with the same passion as Seth spoke about hisfamily and home. The kid was a good person and Seth wondered if they could be friends one day. " So you are done with school?" Seth said as he tried to work out a plan in his head.

"Yeah I am." Chase replied simply, he didn't quite know what to say next as he looked around. The two had reached that point where the already written 'I've just met you conversation' needed to go a little further, into something more interesting. An actual mate-to-mate conversation. Chase sat there awkwardly, waiting to see if Seth was going to talk. They were sat a bit close for the conversation to die so dramatically like this.

Seth smiled as he faced the man and crawled onto the guys lap, "Well I hope you look good without a shirt as you do with one or it will be a shame." Seth then closed his eyes and held onto the boy as they appareted to a warm sunny beach. Seth had been longing for the sun and the sand and now he had it , with a small pop they appeared on a white sand beach that was practically deserted with warm weather and a great view. Seth rolled off the boy and stood up with a smile on his face, "I hope you like paradise because we have arrived?" Seth said hoping the boy would not freak out.

Chase was a little shocked at the boys actions, but soon got the idea as they arrived at the beach. "Paradise is good...and if you really wanna know if I look as good without a shirt on...then there is only one way to find out..." Chase said vainly, before removing his shirt as he lay back onto the hot sand. It was a risky move, but Chase was willing to take that risk. If Seth didn't like it, or if today didn't work out as Chase hoped it would, then the two of them had no reason to have to see each other ever again. But Chase hoped that things would end differently to that. "Now then...what about you?...Light at the end of the tunnel?" Chase joked as he tugged at the guys shirt.

Seth smiled as the boy took his shirt off to reveal a well toned body and a playful attitude toward being whisk off by a stranger to a remote and private beach. Seth laughed a little as the boy tugged at his shirt which Seth removed in no time as he winked at the boy and hoped down on the warm sand next to him. "This is what I am talking about, this is my haven my happy place you know? There is always a light at the end of the tunnel in my world. So is this is the part where we make out or do you want to go for a swim?" Seth said as he ran his hand through his hair.

Chase smiled as Seth removed his shirt aswell. He certainly was well-toned, and Chase was glad that Seth had realized that they both infact liked each other very much. He laughed at Seth's comment about making out or going for a swim before replying to him. "Well...I think the second part sounds good...but the first part sounds better..." Chase joked, sitting up next to Seth then reaching his arm round to the far side of his neck then resting it there. Chase leaned in and kissed Seth on the lips. He only held it for a few seconds, and Chase had to admit it felt strange, but he could quite easily get used to this. "Well?" Chase asked with a cheeky, but sweet smile.

Seth smiled as the boy kissed him on the lips as it was an odd feeling being the one who was kissed rather than doing the kissing. Seth was surprised to see that the man was in fact in such a playful mood and was oddly aggressive in what he wanted but Seth also had a clear head and new he had to control the situation or they would end up in a rather comprimising position that Seth knew the boy was not ready for since he had an air of fresh out of the close smell and that meant firsts. Seth stood up with skill as he did not cause the boy to loose his balance and then he took off for the water.

After a few feet in Seth dove under the clear water and spun around in a brief circle before returning to the surface for air, the water was warm and the smell slammed against his sense as he felt his body relax into a calming state. seth was made for the ocean, and like a secret lover the ocean seemed to protect Seth if only for a little from the stress of the world as it provided a comfort that seth had not experience from any other source in his life. He was at one with ocean and it was permanetly attached to his very being.

Chase smiled as he chased after Seth. Running into the sea after him, splashing everywhere as he caught up with Seth. "Oy you...running away from me like that..." Chase joked as he stood closely next to the guy. The water was up to Chase' chest, and Chase had to grab Seth's muscular arm to stop himself from being taken away by the waves. "You never answered my question." Chase said cheekily as he smiled happily at Seth.

Seth turned and face the guy and smiled the guy was fast and stubbon as well which made for an interesting day. It was so odd how much he opened up since landing here at the beach, and Seth wandered what the boy was after. " Question? What question?" Said as he tried to remember back to when the guy asked a question and could not remember which he had not answered.
