It was that time of year again, Sanctuari supposed. This time around, it was different though. This time Sanctuari didn't feel as empty, or as sad as she had the first time traveling to New Zealand to visit the grave again. She'd already done the routine of dumping some rather expensive alcohol over his grave. She thought of drinking it, but it was half past noon - much too early for her to even try. Besides that she was starting to kick the habit of drinking for no reason. She knew it hadn't been good for her in the first place, so quitting was truly that much easier. Sanctuari stood from where she'd been seated and brushed off her dress. She adjusted the rather stretchy material down, and then zipped her jacket up the rest of the way. She thought it was chilly out, but then again, Honduras was extremely warm all year round. Since moving from New Zealand it's been an eternal summer where she leaves, but the young brunette couldn't complain. Her pink orbs scanned the chilled area at that thought. She'd probably get going back to the apartment she was staying at with her sister. She wasn't sure if the woman would even be there, since Alyce always seemed so busy with Merlin only knows what.

A breeze brushed past Sanctuari, her brown braid almost unmoving. Her hair was much to thick to be pushed aside by the gentle winds. The flat parts of her shoes clicked as if she was wearing heels, but Ri didn't mind the noise much. Instead she focused on how empty it seemed this early in the day, even for a grave yard. Back home, before Sanctuari had decided to sober up, she wouldn't have dreamed of being up this early. She supposed that changing her lifestyle was a positive, next she'd get a job doing something with herbology. She had loved the class when she'd gone to Hogwarts, and didn't bother to do anything with that passion since she'd gotten married. Sanctuari turned quickly, her thoughts fading from her mind as she heard a small, high pitched noise. It was like a laugh, but there was no way it was human. "Oh no." Sanctuari murmured. Doxies. What could make this day worse anyways. The best flew by her and tugged her hair. One Doxy wouldn't be too bad, but Ri was smart and knew, where there was one there was many. The young woman drew her wand, but she couldn't think of a spell for the life of her. This was not the day she had planned on.

Dante Vrael strolled contently through Brightstone Village, a lazy slump to his step and a rather relaxed vibe about him. It was the weekend, and his day off, and he had spent it in the company of some old friends at The Three Broomsticks, enjoying a butterbeer and some chatter. Since being accepted into the Ministry, he had been working almost non-stop and was extremely glad for the break in his steady work life. He was a completely different man nowadays, and was more then glad for it. Instead of the raging drunk that he had once been, with no attachments or responsibilities, he was very quickly growing into the mature man that he had set out to become. He sipped lightly on his warm coffee that he had ordered to take with him, and instead of apparating to his home in Obsidian Harbour, he had decided to treat himself to a nice walk along the village. It was still mid afternoon, and the sun wouldn't be down for some time yet, and he wasn't feeling going home just yet. He was back to work tomorrow, and thought he'd make the most of his day off whilst he could. As he walked, he generally noticed fewer and fewer people along the streets, and figured to himself that people would be heading home to prepare dinner. He himself survived mainly on takeout nowadays.

As he continued to ponder to himself, sipping on his coffee as he walked, he heard a high pitched noise, not far away from him. He knew that sound, and after a quick thought, remembered why it sounded familiar. It was the laugh of a doxie, and generally where there were doxies, there was trouble. Drawing his wand, he tossed his coffee into a bin he passed as he ran in the direction of the sound. Not long after, he found the source. A woman around his age stood with her wand drawn, with a group of doxies hovering around her head, throwing objects at her. Doxies tended to be fairly harmless creatures, but when they got momentum behind their throw, they could cause some damage. Without a seconds hesitation, Dante aimed his wand at a doxie that was lining the girl up with a rock. "Stupefy!" he yelled, and the flash of red jetted towards the doxie, stunning it. Dante grinned in satisfaction as he watched the creature fall stunned to the ground. "Quickly, run!" he said, motioning the girl to run over to him as he shot yet another stunning spell.

Sanctuari was not the best at charms, but dodging whatever the doxies could throw was a little easier. One of the blue buggers gripped onto her wand, and she shouted in Spanish at them, more curse words fleeing her mouth than what she thought was humanly possible. She cursed every generation of doxy to live in her mind, and as she flung the one that was gripping her wand off the wood of it, she heard a spell ring out, knocking on down. It was paralyzed. 'How could I forget stupefy?' she thought to herself, before looking in the direction that the shout came from. Another doxy tossed down some sort of rock, but it only hit her shoulder. "Merlin you're annoying!" She said before shouting the same spell at it and sending it to the ground. It was then that she rushed to the side of her savior.

Sanctuari, in that moment, didn't care for his affiliation, or if he was just going to sling spells at her as well, right now she just wanted to get out of the grasp of those little bastards. "Stupefy!" She said once more, one falling from her hair as she did so. It didn't take long to get all of them on the ground as she and the man who had come to the rescue made their way away from the graveyard. Once Ri was sure she was safe, she put her wand away, and looked to the man whom had for all intensive purposes, saved the day. He was about a head taller than her it seemed, and rather gangly. She wondered to herself if he was an auror, or just a kind passerby. She figured if he was a bad guy he was either hiding it well, or was about to harm her. Since that didn't happen she had no reason to fear him yet. With breath back in her lungs, Ri was able to speak finally. Her pink eyes met his and she commented, "Thank you." Quickly. "I don't know what i would have done back there without your help. I'm Sanctuari." She figured she might as well know the man's name who saved her from those annoying doxies.
