Myls cried under a beautiful tree in the gardens. She knew it was immature to cry about sorting, but it was her dream to be just like Charles. Myls was her own person, and still could be she just needed to be in Ravenclaw. What would Charles think of her? Myls wasn't a Ravenclaw, she will be a black sheep in the family. Everyone that has been to Hogwarts in her family was a Ravenclaw. She couldn't be in Hufflepuff. She just couldn't. Myls hadn't told her family the Sorting Hats decision and she didn't want too. When she called Charles to tell him she got her letter, his first words was, "Aww that's great, another Ravenclaw." Myls just couldn't tell him. It would break his heart. All she can do at this moment is cry and cry. She had never been this upset.

Minoas took a deep breath of fresh air as he extended his arms to welcome the warmth of the sunlight. Although the snow clouds were casted away and the sun finally made its appearance, the weather was quite chilly. The birds, however, were brave enough to come out of their nests and start chirping, composing their new songs.

Minoas had decided to spend as much time as he could, outdoors. It was a great opportunity as the lessons hadn't begun yet and he had a lot of free time, dedicated to exploring the castle and the grounds. Hogwarts gardens looked so well tended, the gamekeeper was doing a great jop.

As he was walking across a line of well-trimmed trees, he heard some muffled sobbings. He stopped for a moment and looked around, trying to find the source of the sound. He spotted a girl under a tree, tears running down her cheeks. He hesitated, wondering if it would be alright to disturb her private moment. Usually whenever he was in the black, he wanted to stay alone but then again, he couldn't just ignore her.
He cleared his throat with a soft cough to make known his presence to her, before his greeting and approached her."Hello there! Everything's alright? I was wondering if I can join you." he said, wearing his biggest smile.

Myls jumped, almost out of her skin as a matter of fact. "What?" Then thinking about what the guy had said she reanswered. "Oh, yes you may. Sorry, I didn't see you there." Myls started wipping her tears away from her face. "I hope I didn't bother you, umm. Sorry I didn't catch your name? Mines Mylie Flynt, most people just call me Mlys." She tried to smiled, but it was a gut wreching task she could barely do. Just as the smile appared, the tears started again. "I'm... so...sorry," she said through a stream of tears,"I'm.... very....." Alas, she got the last part out. "Upset about being sorted into Hufflepuff. She tried once more to chock back the tears.

"Oh sorry. I didn't mean to scare you." he apologised for startling the girl.
"Thank you very much." he smiled as he sut down on the soft grass, crossing his legs. He uprooted a tuft of grass from the ground and started playing with it, between his fingers.
"I'm Minoas. Nice to meet you Myls." he introduced himself with a kind smile. His smile was half erased when the girl's eyes filled again with tears. He wondered what had caused that sorrow to her and it was then that she revealed it.
"Hufflepuff right? The one with the badger?" he tried to remember which of the rest three houses, matched with which mascot. "I like badgers." he tried to break the ice.
"What's wrong with being a Hufflepuff?" he asked genuinely clueless why the girl was so sad about it. It seemed many people had a likeness for specific houses. He had heard many fellow Gryffindors, saying that they really disliked Slytherins. Minoas however, had met a Slytherin guy that was pretty friendly.

Myls looked at him. "Everyone in my family is a Ravenclaw. My brother, dad and mom. EVERYONE. Except me." Myls begins to cry harder again.

no worries, get well :)

Minoas now could understood why Myls was reacting in that way to the fact that the hat sorted her into the house of Hufflepuff. He listened as she was enumerating her family's members, all sorted in Ravenclaw. It seemed to him that she was mostly worried about letting down her family.
"You know, I believe that the hat had a reason to place you in Hufflepuff. Which are the qualities that a Hufflepuff is supposed to have?" he asked her. He just knew only about Gryffindors as he was one of them.
Houses for him wasn't nothing more than Quidditch teams. Other than that he couldn't find why so many people were so passionate about their houses.

Myls rolled her eyes not meaning it smartly towards Minoas. "I'm not sure what they are, I didn't make the cut and made the cut for Hufflepuff." Myls pull yourself together she told herself. This guy is cute, with a capital C. Myls then told him, "I'm sorry. I just really wanted to be in Ravenclaw. NOT Hufflepuff."

Minoas liked helping people. Myls looked like a difficult case but he was not used to give up. The huge NOT that left her lips, ignited his stubborness and determination.
"It doesn't matter in which house you are sorted. It matters what you are going to do. It's up to you. Become a great witch, a prefect, a head girl, a Quidditch captain or just stay behind and let others be what you could be." he hoped what he had said to be quite clear to her. It sounded better in his head rather tham saying it.
"I'm sure there are as many notable Ravenclaws as the notable Hufflepuffs." he added finally.
"I wouldn't matter if I was in Hufflepuff either. Gryffindor or Hufflepuff is the same to me. I would still be doing the same thing, I would have the same goals." he insisted as he wanted to change her mind.
"I bet you are good at something that most Ravenclaws or your family members, aren't." he concluded, running out of arguments.
