You Again?

Kate walked out of the Hufflepuff common room.It was pretty early in the morning.There wasn't much people around the place.This was the sight that usually greeted Kate because she was an early rising.Since she had never gotten any sleep last year she had usualy gitten out of bed at this time and her body seemed to have gotten used to it because this was the time she awoke nearly everyday.If Kate was feeling lazy she would just stay in bed and try and fall asleep again but like most days she just got up and started the day early.It was now half seven and there were one or two students walking along the halls of Hogwarts.Some of the pictures were even asleep though the majority were awake.Kate still found it amazing that pictures in the magic world moved.It would make art so much more interesting if all pictures moved.She thought it was cool that you could converse with the pictures also.The ghosts were awesome.Kate loved paranormal things and anything scary though she didn't really count the Hogwarts ghosts as being scary.The poltergists were just annoying but thankfully Kate had never had an experience with them.

Kate entered the Great Hall.There weren't many students in the hall.Kate was glad that no Rumor Has It magazine had made an appearance.It was really a nuisance.It worried her that the professors hadn't caught the person or people yet.They must be pretty confident that they wouldn't be discovered if they wrote dreadful things about the professors in the school.It was cruel what they wrote about some people.She wasn't sure she would ever get over what they had said about Stefan.That wasn't something you made a joke about.She would love to see them in his position and see if they were so quick to make a joke about it next time.If the group or person was ever found out they would be in serious trouble with a lot of students and professors.It would be kind of fun ganging up on them and making them pay though Kate wasn't sure if she would do that.

Once she was finished her breakfast she walked back out of the hall.The hall was getting full and she didn't fail to notice the mocking gestures from some students in regards to she and Sammy.Some people actually believed they were going out and she couldn't believe some people were so stupid that they would believe anything in that magazine.Though she had to admit who ever wrote the magazine had had their facts right about a lot of the people they wrote about but some were ridiculous.Professsor Blaze for example.Pedobear really? Kate had nothing against the professor though she did blame him for her cold as it was in his class they had to go swimming in the lake.Kate walked outside,the sun was shinning low in the sky as it was only eight in the morning.It was going to be a warm day though Kate could already feel the heat from the sun.Kate made her way to the edge of the forbidden forest.She wanted a place to think and not be disturbed.She walked in deep into the forest.Once she reached a clearing she found a branch and sat down on it.She leaned against the bark of the tree and began thinking about the various events over the past few weeks.

Annalie was up early rising before the rest of her fellow Ravenclaw sixth years. They always went on about beauty sleep and not waking up until the last minute. Annalie didn’t believe in such utter nonsense and had left the dormitory to go and get breakfast. As she walked the corridors alone she had time to recall what had been happening throughout the school, another episode of RHI had been issued to much hilarity and the Ravenclaw had even scored a story about herself, most of which was inaccurate but entertaining nevertheless. Being mentioned in the entertaining and incredibly funny Rumour Has It magazine, had given Annalie a new and more superior title than the one she had previously had. Everywhere she went she heard the frantic whispers, no doubt spreading the gossip that she had stood up to the deputy headmaster, and since she wasn’t a young boy, had gotten away with it relatively unscathed. It was heartening to know that she was now recognized and no longer an unfamiliar face bullying people until they cried, though of course that was what she was ultimately doing when you got down to it. Still, every little bit helped. Entering the great hall Annalie slid onto a bench at the almost deserted Ravenclaw table and helped herself to some toast. She was disappointed that she didn’t see a copy of a new RHI sitting ready and waiting on the bench in front of her, but she had come prepared. Pulling a cup of pumpkin juice over she pulled out the last issue of RHI and began flicking through it. She had been studying the magazine closely making sure she had all her facts straight, it was a wonderful aid to the rumours she already knew and made her verbal blows even more hurtful than before. Looking up from the magazine Annalie spotted Kate Moon entering the hall, no doubt to enjoy her own spot of breakfast. The Ravenclaw had a powerful urge to go and tip a jug of pumpkin juice over the Hufflepuff’s head. After their last meeting where a few heated words were exchanged over the Ravenclaw’s teasing of a certain cry baby Gryffindor boy mentioned in Rumour Has It, Annalie had found herself loathing the mere sight of the other girl.

No longer hungry from looking at Kate for too long, Annalie pushed her plate away a rose to her feet. Rolling up the magazine she tucked it under her arm and stalked out of the hall and out into the grounds. She had bigger things to worry about than a stupid little Hufflepuff, like what she was going to make Lapis do next. Blackmailing the fellow Ravenclaw was extremely fun and she was steadily making her do more and more dangerous things just waiting for her to snap. Slipping into the forest Annalie spotted a tree with sturdy looking branches and began to climb until she was out of sight to passersby. Thinking was much easier to think when she wasn’t being disturbed by nosy little first years on one of their pathetic adventures.

Swinging her legs she mused about what she was going to have Lapis do, nothing to bad yet, she was building up to that, in fact she already had her end game planned it was reaching that, that was goal. It was going to start out with simple book carrying but she still needed something that would humiliate Lapis for Annalie’s entertainment. Her musing was interrupted by the arrival of someone who obviously had the same idea as the Ravenclaw. Peering through the leaves she almost groaned, it was Kate, again. Rolling her eyes she considered letting her pass, but almost kicked herself when she realized what a perfect opportunity it was to get back at the Hufflepuff for trying to stand up to her. Pulling herself up she dropped to the ground as quietly as she could and walked up behind the girl. "Twig, missing your true habitat?" Annalie drawled, making her presence known and hopefully scaring the other girl.​

The branch wasn't that comfy but Kate was in an alright position and it had taken her a long time to get somewhat comfy so she was sticking to this branch.Funnily enough as she lay down on the branch she realized she wasn't that much bigger then th branch but she was certainly bigger then a twig.Not that it matter Kate couldn't care less what RHI said.Kate had never taken much notice of people bad-mouthing her.They didn't matter to her so what if they didn't like her their opinion didn't matter above everybody else's.And they genuinely might not like Kate which was fine with her because not everyone is going to like you.Nobodies perfect so there will be some aspect of you that someone might not like but as long as they didn't make a big deal about it Kate was grand.It had been a stressful few years and she was looking forward to relaxing in terms of her health.She never wanted to be sick again,it was horrible and her heart went out to all those people who were permanently ill.You don't really realize how lucky you are until you become sick and you are stuck in a hospital bed for nearly a month.She now hated the smell of anti-sceptics.Brought back some fairly dodgy memories

She was rather contented on her branch until someone rudely interrupted her peace and quiet.She sat up with an annoyed expression because the words that had been said were obviously from the one and only Annalie.Kate hadn't liked this girl since she had read the article especially since she had been teasing Sammy.Kate felt protective over him and she didn't want anyone hurting him especially people like Annalie who would enjoy doing it.Kate folded her arms and looked unimpressed "Like I haven't heard that one before"She said calmly her face blank.Kate had no respect for someone who could be so cruel and be happy with themselves afterwards.She didn't know why the girl enjoyed making people's life's a mess.She certainly wasn't going to let her get to her.
