Yet Another Rose

Eleanor's rose deliveries for Valentine's Day were almost done. She had enjoyed handing out roses and hoped that the last one she would deliver would be just as good as the other ones. She recognised the person's name on her next rose and knew just where to try to look for him. The Hufflepuff made her way down to the dungeons cautiously, still slightly frightened of it. It was such a dark and cold place and it was unusual to find the girl there if she wasn't heading to her potions class. Nonetheless, Ellie was determined to deliver this rose. She kept an eye out for the boy, and when she finally saw him she tentatively approached. "Oh, hey, um." Eleanor said, looking at the floor shyly. "I have something for you."

Zared left the potions classroom, and found he was interrupted in just heading back to the dorm by one of the other prefects, one of the hufflepuff ones. He looked at her with a fixed expression, knowing this rose would likely only be from his wife and the only reason why he reached out his hand to her to take the rose. He wasn’t going to say anything about it. He wouldn’t say anything to this girl, just expected her to give it to him, along hopefully with the note too.
