Sometimes Danika had to remember that she loved Jack. It was the only thing that stopped her from trying to push him off a cliff or rig his broom. Sometimes that boy could be so thick in the head that he couldn't tell a toadstool from a gillyweed sprig. Not to mention the amount of times he has forgotten any important dates. God forbid he ever forgets her birthday. The veela shook her head angrily as she walked into a store she had recently ordered a package from. She had waited long enough for Jack to make a move, so she was going to take matters into her own hands. Once and forall. Paying the aging man and walking out of the store, Danika made a quick pit stop at the hotel they were staying at and changed into something more suitable for the six o'clock dinner reservations she had made for them at a very expensive restaurant. If he was not going to take the first step then by god she would do it. She had many plans. Most of them included having a family, which would be impossible the way things were going. Danika sighed and shook her head as she stepped into the restaurant and waited for the registra to see her. He looked up and nodded to Danika, smiling slightly at her appearance. "Name?" Danika stepped forward and said in a small voice, "I have a reservation for two under Kaster." She said looking around to see if Jack had beaten her here. Evidently he hadn't. She rolled her eyes and smiled as the registrar beckoned for a waiter to come and take her to the required table. He handed her two menu's and told her that he would return soon fro her order.

Danika sighed. Where was Jack? Why did he always have to be late? She had to admit though, she loved him and everything that was included with him. Besides, Tess had recently had a baby and his mind hadn't really been on task since then. She had to forgive him for that atleast, right? It wasn't like he did these things on purpose anyway. It wasn't his fault half the time. Parker and Bonnie were to blame sometimes to. She shook her head and looked over the menu. Red wine, white wine, Champagne, sparkling wine. There were also non alcoholic beverages like orange juice and Cider. The foods on the menu made her mouth water at times too like prawn salad and tuna marinara. The entree's themselves were going to be expensive, but she didn't care, she had plenty of money to spend. Whether Jack let her or not. She just hoped he didn't forget.

Jack would never, ever admit it, but he had forgotten the date that Danika had hastily set up for him. He was busy with Parker and Bonnie, practising for the upcoming game. Their opponents were tough, but Jack couldn't exactly remember what their name was, in fact, he didn't really care. As long as he and Bonnie got to smack a few heads around, he was totally fine with it. Practise went like clockwork. Bonnie smashed a bludger at Parker, who swerved away and threw the quaffle, that was then shot towards the hoops, but before it got through it was blocked. Everything was perfect. The weather was fine for practise also, though it was quite warm and the only thing Jack would change was the heat, his uniform was making him sweat bullets, but he didn't really mind, it was common. What made his heart sink was when Bonnie flew up to him with a sceptical face and asked, 'aren't you meeting Dani for a date?' Jack's face went from enjoyment, to utter horror. Danika hated waited, and Jack knew that for a fact. He left the pitch as quickly as possible. What was the name of the restaurant? What was he supposed to wear? Was he supposed to bring anything? Why was he going? Was it a date or was it something special? For a second, Jack thought about whether it was Danika's birthday or not, but he safely concluded that it wasn't and continued to change into some clean clothes and left the apartment. Danika would have his head.

Jack looked in their parking spot and looked sadly. The car spot was empty. "Oh man..." With a sigh, Jack started walking. He didn't know the name of the place, but he vaguely knew what it looked like. In any other situation, Jack would have aparated, but he wasn't exactly confident that he'd get there in one piece, since his memory of the area was amazingly fuzzy. He wanted to get there in one piece. Jack sighed and looked at his watch. Luckily, he had ten minutes to find where ever Danika was. That was better than having one minute. Jack run quite awhile, and when he saw the restaurant, he smiled with great relief and ran into the restaurant, taking a minute to gather himself and looked around the corner of the door timidly and saw Dani. Ohhhh... she was going to be furious, he was twenty minutes late. Seeing a waiter talking to Danika for seemed to be a little longer than what it would take to say: 'Can I take your order?' and for Dani to answer: 'Not yet, I'm waiting for my fantastic boyfriend.' And then for him to say: 'Yes Mam.' And walk away. For those that knew Jack, they wouldn't find him very scary, but for a stranger, having a fit guy that was over 6'4 standing over you proved to be very intimidating, since the waiter left very quickly with a small 'Goodbye' and nod in Danika's direction.

Taking a little look around as he sat down, Jack realised that he was a teeny bit under dressed for the restaurant. Just a teeny bit. With a deep breath, Jack reached for Danika's hands. "Sweetie, I am so incredibly sorry." He began, smiling weakly. "I know you're mad, but I just want you to remember that we're in a fancy restaurant, and you don't want to make a scene." He explained, chewing his lip. "I got held up at work, and I lost track... then I had to run here because I couldn't remember the name of it, or what it looked like..." Jack was sorry, he was sure that Danika could see that, but admittedly, he did this sort of thing a lot, and he was surprised that she hadn't left him.

Danika folded her arms angrily across her chest. This was ridiculous. Where on earth was he? Ten minutes is one thing, but twenty? Was he even going to come? Had he forgotten? She could not believe this. After having arranged all of this and then going out of her way to remind him, he had forgotten. Or was it that, he simply did not want to come? She sighed and looked at the package on the table. She somehow wished that she had never even bothered. Not if she had known about this. Now she simply looked like and idiot and she was sure she could feel the other patrons eyes on her. She rolled her eyes and looked through the bag for her phone. There were no messages, no calls. She almost felt as if she was going to cry. She stood up and was about to leave before she heard the voice of her waiter. "Are you ready to order yet madam?" She sighed. How was she going to explain this? She had to eat soon. They only had this reservation for an hour. That meant that there was only about forty minutes left. She shook her head at him and sighed. "No, i'm afraid not. I'm sure I will be soon though." The waiter smiled sympathetically. She didn't know him, but he was being quite nice to her. She smiled back. "I'm sure he will turn up madam. Perhaps he is held up." He offered. It was what Danika had been thinking but that didn't mean he could be late and not call, or text or even magic her the message. No. He had definitely forgotten. And she was not happy about it at all. "No, no. If that were true, then surely he would have called me, or something. Right?" She sighed and shook her head. "No. He has definitely forgotten. Or worse, he has stood me up. Do you think he would do that?" She asked, looking up at the waiter. From the look on his face, she could tell that it was exactly what he was thinking. In fact, most of the people in the room were thinking the same thing. She sighed and picked up her bag. Perhaps some fresh air was what she needed.

However, just as she was about to stand up, the waiter scurried away. She frowned and looked at the direction he had been facing. Standing there, looking invariably guilty and very under dressed, was Jack. The entire restaurant was now staring at him. Probably because they hadn't clicked that this was indeed Jack. She slowly returned to the chair and sat herself down calmly. Jack started towards her and sat down, grabbing her hands in his. By now the restaurant patrons had clicked to who he was because they were all glaring at him. Heck even the waiters and waitresses were doing so. She turned her head away from Jack. She couldn't look at him right now. She wasn't angry at him. Atleast she hadn't been until she heard what he had to say. She seethed and whipped around to look at him. Her eyes visibly darkening with pure and utter anger. She could not believe that he could do this to her. It was, just so utterly devious. She growled lightly and almost pulled out her wand, momentarily forgetting where they were. She looked at him, her face twisting to match her mood. "Jack! Are you seriously asking me not to make a scene!?" She asked through her teeth. Oh boy. He was really on her bad side right now. "What gives you the right!" She asked, slightly louder then she had intended. "What the hell gives you the f*cking right!" She could not believe this was actually happening. Seriously?!

Jack chewed on his lip. He was sure he couldn't have managed to sound more like a jerk than he just had. There he was, under dressed, scaring innocent waiters, showing up exceedingly late for a date he should have remembered and he even had the stupidity to tell Danika that she shouldn't cause a scene. Well played. He took a deep breath. This was not time to get annoyed at her, this wasn't the time. It wouldn't accomplish anything, especially since it was entirely his fault. The entire restaurant was staring-no, they were glaring at him. Danika didn't even appear to want to look at him. Sure, she was glaring at him, but that didn't mean she was looking at him, it felt like she was staring right through him. She then began yelling and swearing. Jack let his eyes fall to his lap. What was he going to do? How could he possibly worm his way out of this? If they weren't in a muggle area, he was sure Danika would have attempted to hex him or something, she appeared angry enough to strangle him, and he doubted that any of the people in the restaurant would help him. In fact, most of them appeared about ready to kill him. He had to do something, but his explanation wasn't going to lighten the mood at all, in fact, it would only annoy her more, but if he didn't tell the truth, she'd know, and kill him.

He spoke quietly. "I have no right to keep you waiting... again." Upon hearing the 'again', all people ner the table glared, how they heard him he wasn't sure, but his and Danika's situation was probably the talk of the restaurant. Never had Jack felt so hated, he was used to feeling loved, not loathed. "I know that I spend a lot of time with the team, far too much time. I know that sometimes I forget important details, just like this was an important detail... and I know that sometimes I say the wrong stuff, just like now..." He was trying to be sincere, to be as gentle and honest as he was capable of being. Not that he was used to lying, but serious situations weren't his thing. In fact, it's surprising that he hadn't ran away yet, that's what he usually did. "But I don't forget about you, and I'm sorry that my actions constantly get you angry. I really really am sorry." He squeezed her hands slightly. "Can we please just try to start over?"
