🌹 Rose Giving Yellow with a Hint of Green

This name Marley, was defiantely unfamiliar with, so the Hufflepuff had assumed it must've been a younger student. The girl had decided to make her way to the great hall again and hunt the younger student through the great hall. Marley was hoping that she'd find the student eventually, and thankfully, it had been Marley's last rose. The girl looked around the great hall, noticing that it had gotten busier and louder than when she was here earlier. Marley walked around, calling out the name a few times. "Gaia?! Gaia?! Gaia Athanasiou?" Marley called out, walking and looking around.

Gaia was glancing around her at all the noisy kids, all she wanted to do was eat in peace but everyone felt the need to yell around. Today had been such a hassle with all the roses going around and Gaia was just relieved she hadn't signed up for the deliveries. Hearing her name the first year looked up and begrudgingly raised her hand. "I'm Gaia." She called out turning towards the older girl, she had no clue who'd send her a rose, maybe it was from Rosé but she wasn't getting her hopes up quite yet.

Marley sends a small smile towards the girl once she had found the person she had been searching for, before making her way towards the young girl. "Hi Gaia, I have a rose for you" Marley says with a soft smile before digging into her basket to try and find the rose that was meant to be given to the younger girl. "A yellow rose for you" Marley says with a small smile, as she passes the rose to Gaia.

Gaia took the rose and gave an awkward smile to the girl. "Thanks." Opening the note a blush crept onto the Slytherin's face. It was from Jun, he'd sent her a rose with a little sketch of a dragon. She felt terrible for not sending one to him, but honestly she'd forgotten to send one to most people, including her sister who was probably going to have her head for it. Instead of pocketing the noe Gaia placed it flatly on the table so that it would stay nice without wrinkles, because she planned to keep it. "Thanks again," She said awkwardly, avoiding eye contact with the older girl. She hated receiving a rose and having someone see her reaction to it. It felt a bit too vulnerable.

Marley nodded as the girl thanked her, getting the hint that maybe the girl didn't wanna be seen with her reaction as she avoided eye contact with Marley. "It's no worries! I'll leave you to it! Enjoy!" Marley says with a nod and a grin, waving to the girl, before making her way out of the great hall. Her deliveries were finally done!

Gaia gave a smile to the older girl, a little regretful about her inability to be civil and nice but it was too late now. "Bye bye, enjoy your day!" She called out after her, trying to make up for the subtle rudeness of her behavior.
