🌹 Rose Giving Yellow Seems Fitting For You

Amory thought that it was quite funny everytime he delivered a rose that seemed to fit the recipients house colour. This time he was delivering a rose for a badger named January. He wondered if the girl was born in January or if the parents just really really liked the first month of the year. "Any of you know or better yet happen to be January Parish?" He asked a few students exiting the common room.

January had signed up to deliver roses and she found the job absolutely thrilling. She loved being able to send messages of love and friendship all around the castle. But it was also keeping her extremely busy. She had just stopped by her room to pick up her books for her next class and was rushing out the door when she heard some older student asking for her by name. She stopped in her tracks and was hesitant before she realized he was carrying roses himself. "Oh that's me!" she replied and waved over to him.

Amory's eyes snapped to the younger girl and he put on a friendly smile. "Perfect, I have a rose for you!" He said searching for the yellow one in the basket meant for his girl. As his hands landed on it he pulled it out and gave it to the girl. "There you go, seems to have a note too." Noes were always fun in his opinion. He himself tried to make them as funny as he could, hoping to make his friends smile or laugh.

January smiled as he pulled out a yellow rose and hand it to her along with a note. "Thank you!" she said brightly as she took the flower and opened the note. She read it quickly and smiled again. Of course she didn't mind, she would have to thank Declan whenever she saw him next. "Thanks again, hope the rest of your deliveries goes well." she said to the older boy, not wanting to take up any more of his time since she also had to make it to her next class shortly.

Amory gave a small smile and a nod. "No problem!" He said and watched her read the note, though it still felt a little weird watching people read their notes, alas he wasn't just gonna walk away without saying bye. That would have been rude. "Thank you, you too!" He told her with a wave before continuing on his way.
