Ava's first rose was someone who she had no idea about. Thankfully, she'd run into Onyx and he'd been helpful enough to tell her she wanted a Gryffindor. Humming happily to herself, she skipped into the Great Hall and over to the Gryffindor table. She read the name on the note again before holding the yellow rose up. "Haaarrrleeey!" She sing-songed, keeping her eyes open for anyone that responded.

Last Valentines day had been a painful time for Harley, still reeling from her catastrophic breakup with Odette, and it felt strange to be far removed enough from that that it barely crossed her mind. Nah, today was all about hanging out with friends, and with Rose busy with the deliveries, that pretty much meant Hayley. Something Harley wasn't sad about at all. She took a seat at the Gryffindor table and waited for Hayley to inevitably join her, probably grumbling about people looking for her at the wrong house table, just like every year. Before that could happen though, Harley heard her name from someone else and looked up, smiling when she saw a kid with a basket of roses. "That's me." She said plainly, holding her hand up. "Rose for me?"

Ava spotted the hand that went up and skipped over. "Yep! A pretty yellow one." She rummaged around in her basket before producing the flower. "Here you go!"

HEY HARLEY!!!

UR THE BEST!! LOVE TO DO ART AND SHENANIGANS WITH U!!! H-LEYS RULE, GIRL GANG 5-EVA!!!

LOVE HAYLEY

Harley took the rose from the girl, chuckling warmly as she saw immediately who it was from. She and Hayley spent enough time together that at some point they had adopted the exact same writing style, and there was no mistaking it. She grinned as she read the message, trying to ignore the small flip her heart did reading the words 'Love, Hayley'. What was that about? Nothing worth thinking about. Harley pushed the thought aside quickly, smiling up at the delivery girl and ruffling her hair. "Thanks, kiddo, this rules." She grinned, determined not to think about what the warmth in her heart meant.
