Well, Rose's luck with the roses had ended. She didn't know the next name on her list. After a bit of searching in the Great Hall, she had found out that the next person on her list was a Hufflepuff. Well, that was kinda helpful. She made her way out of the hall and up the stairs, stopping a few people to ask if they had seen Freya. Finally, she stopped another girl. "Excuse me, have you seen Freya Song?"

Freya was doing her best to ignore the Valentines weirdness and get on with her day, when she was stopped by some girl who appeared to be looking for her. Freya weighed the pros and cons of trying to saying no and avoiding her, as there she couldn't think of any good reasons people would be trying to hunt her down, "Weird hair, messy braids, uniform artistically stained with tomato sauce? Yup, saw her this morning in the mirror." Freya folded her arms and waited to see what the girl wanted.

Rose actually chuckled a little at girls statement. "Yeah, well, I happen to like her braids." She pulled the yellow rose from her basket. "She got this," Rose smiled, holding out the yellow blossom.

Despite sending several roses to people herself, Freya was surprised to see one meant for her. She gave the Gryffindor a strained smile at the compliment about her braids, and took the rose. "I will treasure it always," she said blandly. She squinted suspiciously at the yellow flower. "D'you know who it's from?"

Rose returned the strained smile with one of her own. Wow, Rose was terrible with people, why did she keep doing this? She pulled the note from the basket, offering it to the other girl wordlessly.

Pretend this says something really heartfelt and funny. Like, going to make the delivery person uncomfortable because you're overcome with how heartfelt and funny it is.

- Kas

Freya read the note and clamped a hand over her mouth to look as though she had been suddenly overcome with emotion, instead of barely restrained laughter at Kas's words. "Oh," she squeaked, pretending to read profound invisible words. Kas was a terrible person, but he'd gone to the effort of sending her a joke rose and Freya wasn't going to waste the opportunity. The effect would have been better if he'd sent a red rose, but the yellow worked even if people were going to think they were friends now. "You are an absolute angel for delivering this," Freya gushed. She stepped forward and threw her arms around the girl in a light hug, and then clutched the note and rose to her heart, her suspicious expression melting into a manufactured one of misty-eyed adoration.

Rose raised a brow, a bit surprised by the girls' antics. It reminded her of her cousin. Rose patted her back awkwardly when Freya threw her arms around her, raising a brow and looking at her quizzically. "Okay, whatever. You like it so much, go see whoever sent it," Rose shrugged, turning and giving the girl a half hearted wave. "I do like your braids." She offered again before turning to walk away.
