Noah had been staying outside the Orphan house, he hadn't been able to come home lately. First of all, the karate master himself had been teaching him until late night and secondly, the mafias gave him several tasks and going back home to the orphan house was impossible. He knew that some adults in there would be mad at him for not coming home, but he didn't care. They weren't his parents anyway so they can't boss him around. Noah had been training until late night and go back to his fellow mafia right after that and work in the morning. His life was miserable and he was exhausted, nobody knew, not even Lolli but soon they would figure it out but Noah couldn't care. He was too tired and sick of his life, he wanted to end it but he didn't have the heart to leave his fellow friends.

With bruises on Noah's face, he opened the door of the orphan house slowly and walk toward his room and took a shower. Surprisingly, his room was neat and he didn't know who had been cleaning his room. He took a clothes and wore it right after he clean himself. The boy slam himself to his bed, it was soft and clean and big enough for him. He didn't have to sleep on the wooden floor like the one in his Karate school and he didn't have to share his bed with any other people. A small smile appear on his face as he buried himself in the pillow and closed his eyes. Just then, he heard someone opening his door "Get out" Noah ordered. Typical Noah, he never really want anyone getting into his room except some of his friends.

Lolli had been slightly worried about Noah. He was her big brother, and now he never came home? He was always out late, and when she was upset, she'd go into his room, thinking he was there. She had cried more then once, burring her face in his pillow because she was scared by a dream, or father had pushed her too hard. She had cleaned it up while he was gone too, putting things in order, making his bed. If it wasn't made by noon, she knew he'd get yelled at when he arrived back. She adjusted her robe, taking a sip from the water. It was late, most everyone was in bed; Lolli just couldn't sleep.

That night she wandered down the halls to Noah's room. She was just going to make sure everything was in order in there, for when he finally came back. She opened the door and heard his voice. She had to nearly cover her mouth to hold in her excitement. She set her cup down and ran over to him, dropping herself onto the bed next to him, one arm squeezing him tightly. "Brother!" She exclaimed in a whisper voice. She hadn't been able to tlak to Noah in a very long time. And she missed their conversations. He was really the best.

Surprisingly it was Lolli who approach Noah, he wasn't expecting her to be up especially at this time. The boy had been away for months and why on earth would Lolli check out his room? Noah rolled himself to the side, facing Lolli and forced himself to open his eyes as a small smile appear on his face with bruises all over it. "Lolli" He wrapped an arm protectively around the small young girl as he pulled her closer to him. "What are you doing this late?" It was in the middle of the night, that was the only reason why he would come home, if it was afternoon then people would be panicking about his face but since it was dark and night, people couldn't notice that Noah came back home.

Noah loved Lolli just like his own sister, she was so young and fragile, he was afraid of her condition especially after knowing that she was going to go to school within a month? Year? Sooner than he expected "If anyone bully you in school, let me know." He shut his eyes as he started to breath normally. Breathing was hard for him, especially after being beaten up, it was his fault anyway. He stole it and he had to be responsible to it. "Go to bed, it's late. Or do you wanna stay here?" Noah didn't mind if Lolli wanted to stay with him, he loved her even though he had no blood relation iwth her.

Lolli looked at Noah, and her blue orbs widened in concern. "N-Noah?" She questioned, her voice a bit shaky. Lolli never had a clue about Noah's life outside the orphanage. She knew that he went to Karate, and then hung out with friends all the time! Karate couldn't do this to him, she knew that he would always protect himself. She cuddled into him, being small like she was, she was always like an ice-cube. "I could ask you the same thing." She commented to him. "What happened?" The worry in her voice was strong, she now wondered who she had to beat up for doing this to her big brother.

Lolli and Noah had been close since she was just a baby. He had helped her with her fighting, adn always protected her from everything. When he was around, he'd stand up for her to Father. She missed having him around so much. She listened to his words, his chest rumbling with each one. She nodded, her eyes beginning to water a bit. She couldn't tell if it was from her worry, or because she was scared to leave the home. It might have even been both. "I wanna stay here. My room is scary and drafty." It was true that she had the draftyest room in the house. It hadn't always been like that though.

Noah wasn't planning on telling little Lolli that he was one of the Korean mafias, no... She might tell other people or she might end up like him, he didn't want to motivate her to be like him. Life was far too dangerous and rough for him especially if he betrayed his brothers. "I accidentally bang myself to the pillar at work." No, he wasn't going to tell her truth, never. At least not until she knew how tough life was. Beside he was good at lying so why not lie while he could? "I'll have to go to work tomorrow, early in the morning and I wont be back till late night so don't wait up for me like this." Noah told Lolli not wanting her to stay up too late, after all she was a kid, she younger than him.

The protective arms of Noah's were wrapped around Lolli, he enjoyed cuddling his non biological sister. She was so small and so thin that he could break her hips with his left hand only. "My room is too, your room is better than mine. But whatever... Stay if you want" Noah said as if he was heartless but he was far from heartless especially to Lolli. He could never imagine if Lolli ended up hating him, that would be his worst nightmare. "When are you going to go to school? Where are you going anyway?" Noah asked almost whispering with both his eyes closed as he took a deep breath. Noah had been thinking about signing up in Durmstrang, but he could never leave his `friends`. They were the one who gave him extra money and the one who had been paying his karate classes and who had been protecting him since he was young. No, he could never leave those people and he would never introduce Lolli to them.

Lolli was confused by his words. He had several different marks spaced apart. She knew deep in her heart that Noah was lying to her. It hurt, but she pushed those feelings down. If he had wanted her to know, he would have told her. "I'm sorry." She muttered to the all-too-fake story he told her. "Would you like an ice pack, or something?" it would help with the swelling and bruising, she'd have to wrap it in a cloth first so that she didn't damage the skin though. She pouted slightly, and looked into his face, searching for something she'd never find. "When do you have a day off?" She asked him. She wanted to spend time with him before her leave.

One of Lolli's arms were draped over Noah's side, and she had the other curled up under her head. It was a comfortable way to sleep, in her opinion. "Yeah, but you have the fluffy blanket." She said with a little bit of a giggle. She had to stay in good humor, or else she might end up crying. She blinked a few times, pushing the tears back. "I don't know, sorting is soon I think, then I'm back for shopping." She smiled a little bit, but a tear slid down her cheek. She buried her face into Noah's chest, she didn't want to leave. She had to, though, if she was going to do something with her life. "H-Hogwarts." She said, trying not to sob, or even let him know she was crying.

Noah knew that Lolli knew that he was lying. No, Noah wasn't an idiot, he knew if other people lied or not just like what just happen. But again, Lolli didn't have to know about his life, if she did, something could happen, right? "I'm fine" That was all he could say, Noah was tired and he had to work in the morning, he hadn't had enough sleep but surprisingly he didn't have dark circles under his eyes. "Day off? I'm not sure, why? You wanna go somewhere and the rest of these losers can't bring you?" Noah chuckle a little when he mention losers, he loved them but there was no harm in mocking them a little. After all, none of them had experience Noah's life, if they did they probably would give up and kill them self.

Hearing Lolli's voice was a refreshment for Noah, he hadn't been able to hear or listen to her for months. Noah pulled her closer to him as he started to sleep for a while and woke up when the girl spoke. "The blanket is from my mom" At this time, Noah frowned as he opened his eyes. What was the point of showing no emotion to a little girl? After all she couldn't do anything to him, right? "Hogwarts? Hogwarts New Zealand? I'm sure you'll get friends there." As Noah observe the little girl's voice it seemed that she was about to cry "Go on... Cry... And I wont take you to Seoul next Saturday" A small smile appear on his face, he was planning on meeting his `hyung-nim` (big bro) but he could go there and meet him with Lolli or he could always leave her somewhere and come back for her.

Lolli sighed slightly. Why would he lie to her? Noah and Lolli shared nearly everything. Sometimes, they even shared foods and drinks. When he wasn't at work, a lot of times they were attached at the hip. She smiled just a little bit and said, "Well... We never hang out. And I wont ever get to see you when I'm at school." She sounded sad, but she kept tears from spilling. She only cried when she was alone, or in front of Corey. But, Corey wasn't there. She was in Beuxbatons, having so much fun. Lolli let out a sigh and closed her eyes. She wasn't tired, she just couldn't keep her eyes open for long periods of time.

Lolli nodded slightly. She thought that he was lucky in some ways, and unlucky in others. She didn't have much to remember her parents by, except the little locket, but if she had something like a blanket; she'd never be able to move on. Lolli really was a fake person, she felt a lot of pain; but no one knew that. She was the star of the family, excelling in everything because she was pushed. She'd never be able to forgive herself if she let her family down. "I hope so, just glad I wont get shoved into a locker." She wanted to say again. It had only happened once, before she had gotten really good with her Karate. That boy didn't bother her anymore though. "Don't be so mean!" She said giving him a shove. She couldn't help that she was going to miss him, and everyone else.

Noah had been trying to survive in this cruel world, he didn't want other people to suffer like him. Sadly he didn't know that his sisters were alive, he had missed them so bad, he had never told anyone about it except his hyung-nim (the leader of the Korean mafia). "I've never told you this but I used to have sisters, Annabelle and Maybelle, they're twins, 3 years older than me and they were dead too. Life is tough especially for us, I know that it's not fair but we can't do anything about it, eh?" He frowned a little but since it was dark, no one could see it and he liked it. He dislike showing emotion to other people, some people thought that he was weak for showing emotion. It was forbidden, especially to the enemies. But Noah couldn't care about anything, not anymore he was sick of living his life, he was too tired and while other kids could get what they want by the age of 16, Noah was far from that.

"Hang out? You know that the rest of the kids here are better than me"
It was true, Noah wasn't the best `babysitter` in that place. He tend to be really quiet or tend to lost his temper. "I'm going back to Korea next Saturday, you can come with me if you want. I'm using floo powder anyway so you can go home whenever you want. But you gotta carry your own floo powder just in case we got separated" Noah knew that he couldn't be around Lolli for too long since he had to face his fellow mafias. And he knew that Lolli had to go home by herself but Seoul was safe, he knew that the 11 years old little girl could go home by herself safely. "And if anyone bully you at school, show em who's boss" That was what his hyung-nim told him. And Noah had been doing that for 8 years now.

Lolli tried to see him in the darkness. It was hard though, and she couldn't very well. She wanted to see his face when he talk, but she settled with hearing the rumbling of his chest as he spoke. She had never once heard about his sisters, she was slightly confused by it. "Right, that's why we gotta do a Hakkuna Matadah thing, right?" She asked. She used reference to a movie that she had favored since she was young. It was a muggle movie about talking lion's. Th Lion King; she recalled. She hadn't seen it in a while. She couldn't watch it when Noah was around, because when the Daddy Lion died, she always cried. S shiver made her scoot closer to her warmer brother. She closed her eyes to hear what he was saying.

"Nu-uh! You're much more fun!" She said. Usually, her and Noah would get in trouble for sparring out their problems. It could be really simple, but whoever won was always the answer. It usually wasn't Lolli. Even though Noah was quiet, they didn't need words. Sometimes it was like they were psychic or something; even when neither of them were. She nodded. "Awesome! I can't wait!" She exclaimed, a yawn escaping her lip at the end. Now she was starting to get tired. To the next sentence, she just nodded. She would, just for him.
