Ivelisse smiled when Eugene mentioned he was here to learn, which was understandable since pretty much everything at the school had to be new for him. She sometimes wondered what it would've been like to grow up without magic, but it was hard to imagine. Even when her own family had been living in a slightly more muggle lifestyle there had always been magic in one way or another. And to not know about it all sounded a little sad. Although people who didn't wouldn't know what they were missing either. "Nah, it's numbers but like.. the magic side of them? Magical properties and what not. Something like that." Ivelisse chuckled in response, figuring that was the best definition she could come up with right now with the little knowledge she had about the subject. It sounded complicated, but perhaps that would also make it challenging, which was always a good thing. "Good thing we don't have to worry about electives yet though." She added with a little shrug, definitely not keen on deciding anytime soon when they still had plenty of time to think about it.
