Y31 Dueling Match #14

The next duel was between two fifth years, and Jon being certain the students would understand what they were doing quickly led them onto the dueling platform. After assigning them different ends of the platform he explained the rules for the sake of formality and promptly stepped away allowing their duel to begin.​

Jerara always found the time for this event, even though he really didn't have much time at all, he just had to find the time for it. The teen was stood with the other person at opposite sides. He didn't know the other boy particularly well, but he was determined to win this. He kept his wand on him and the moment they were able to cast the stinging curse at the other boy.

For spells, Asmodeus had to think of the most destructive ones if he wanted to win against a Ravenclaw Prefect. The Prefect cast a hex on him, which Asmodeus blocked with his shield, before shooting back, "Obscuro!"

Jerara liked the ability to try the spells they learned in a capacity other than just in classes. He had a faint smile as he watched the spell fire across, to only then be blocked by the slytherin prefect. However this was good, a challenge was good. The teen kept his wand up and was able to easily block the other prefect's spell. He got his shield up just in time. The boy took no time in firing back at the other boy. "Diffindo,"

Asmodeus quickly threw up a shield in response to the powerful spell. This kid was not joking around. Sneering, he sent out the instant scalping hex. It wouldn’t win him the duel but it would show him who he was dealing with.

Jerara quickly dodged out of the way of the other boy's spell. There was a faint whisp of a smile upon his features, he liked this. This was a fun use of magic, "Confundo," the boy shot back.
