FULL NAME:
Xavier Travis Jeffreys

MEANING:
Xavier: Derived from the Basque place name Etxaberri meaning "the new house". Travis: In English the meaning of the name Travis is: Crossing; crossroads; toll gate. In use as both a surname and a first name. Jeffreys: The name Jeffrey is an American baby name. In American the meaning of the name Jeffrey is: God's peace.

WHY:
Xavier's parents enjoyed choosing names that are considerably 'normal' however have a nice meaning. The meaning of "the new house" was clearly chosen for the sense of home it has and Xavier is aware and pleased with this. Xavier likes his name and thinks it suits him well, he doesn't have any particular thoughts on this besides that he likes that his parents named him after a sense of home and a new beginning. Xavier was given the middle name Travis after his paternal grandfather. He is not aware of the meaning of the name Travis but he is proud to be named after a family member. The name Jeffreys is a surname that has been passed down through generations. Xavier has no opinion on this.

AGE:
Xavier is currently 15 years old and in his fifth year of schooling at Hogwarts New Zealand.

BIRTHDAY:
4th March 2029. The twins took twice as long as Isaiah did to be born and in addition to that were born a few days after their estimated due date. Ares was born ten minutes before Xavier, making Xavier the younger twin although Aries was a smaller baby. Xavier enjoys having a twin and sharing his birthday with someone he loves very much.

PROFESSION:
Xavier is currently a student at Hogwarts New Zealand. He is not sure what kind of career or profession he would like to have when he finishes school but he is optimistic that he will figure it out.

PARENTS:
Xavier has a father and a step father currently in his life. Xavier's biological father is named Joshua Jeffreys and was born in July of 1996. Xavier has a close, trusting and healthy relationship with his father and loves the man very much. Xavier's mother Kate Jeffreys (Maiden name Perrie), was born in December of 2000 and died on the 2nd January 2031 in a tragic car accident. Xavier was too young to know what his mother was like before she passed away, but he has heard stories about the woman from Isaiah and thinks about her fondly. Xavier's step father is named Orlando Edison. Xavier is also very close with his step father and considers the man as another father figure in his life. Despite not having the opportunity to get to know his late mother, Xavier thinks of her fondly and in the same manner as he thinks of his father and step father so he has a generally positive relationship with all of his parental figures.

SIBLING(S):
Xavier has two siblings, an older brother named Isaiah Jeffreys and a twin brother named Ares Jeffreys. Xavier loves both his brothers unconditionally and will do anything to keep them happy. Xavier looks up to Isaiah as a role model and aspires to be as confident and smart as him one day. Xavier is very proud of Isaiah for being so successful in school and being given the title of head boy in his final year, and wishes he could be so dedicated to his education in the future. Xavier also loves his twin Ares like a best friend and kindred spirit, however the twins are independent in their own right, and have never been the kind of twins to be attached at the hip despite how close they are. They lead separate lives with separate groups of friends but they love each other dearly and share a lot of belongings and tell each other about their days whenever they have the opportunity. Xavier loves that he and Ares are so different, yet the same and would not have it any other way because he thinks he and Ares’ personalities mesh so well together.

BLOOD STATUS:
Half-blood. Xavier does not think blood status is important besides as a means to learn more about someone's family history. He is not judgmental in regards to blood status by any means and is open and accepting of all magical, and non-magical folk because he was raised this way. He does not understand prejudices regarding blood status and does not think he will ever be able to as his experiences with prejudiced people have lead him to believe that they are generally ignorant and uneducated.

HOMETOWN:
Brisbane, Australia.

CURRENT RESIDENCE:
Xavier currently resides in the family home in Brisbane where he has lived his entire life. The home suits his family and has a generously sized garden and backyard where Xavier often spends time as he likes to dig in the dirt for bugs and insects. His room is quaint and messy most of the time, but that is the way Xavier likes it. It has a large window facing the backyard which he often climbs in and out of when he cannot be bothered using his bedroom door to walk through the house in order to go outside.

SEXUAL ORIENTATION:
Xavier is currently unaware of his sexuality, but in the future, he will identify as Demisexual, which means he feels sexually attracted to people in which he shares a close emotional and romantic bond with. Most Demisexuals feel sexual attraction rarely compared to the general population, and some have little to no interest in sexual activity. Xavier fits this orientation perfectly although is still too young to realise what his identity is because he is more focused on having fun in school and with his friends.

CURRENT RELATIONSHIP STATUS:
Xavier is currently too young to care about relationships, and is too indifferent towards romance in general as he is currently too focused on digging for bugs, having fun with his friends and learning about magic in school to care about relationships, or even crushes. His peers are slowly becoming interested in relationships and Xavier does not understand why or how this is happening because he is completely ignorant and indifferent towards romance. This will not change much in the future but as Xavier grows older he will also grow to be less opposed to dating despite never fully understanding the concept of it.

HAIR COLOUR:
Xavier's hair is naturally a dishwater blonde/mouse brown colour. He believes he inherited this from his father's side of the family and has no particular opinion on his hair colour. He is not the kind of person that is interested in colouring his hair with unnatural or natural looking colours, but if he is presented the opportunity, he will not outright say no. Whether he will change his hair colour depends on the situation and if he has a convincing enough reason. Otherwise he will keep his hair in his natural state, curly and mouse brown.

EYE COLOUR:
Xavier has greener, more hazel coloured eyes than his twin, Ares. He is told that he has inherited his eye colour from his mother and that Ares' eyes are from their father. Xavier, does not particularly care about his eye colour and is considerably indifferent about it in the same way he is about his hair. Though he is interested in other people's eye colours, this being one of the reasons he often makes eye contact in conversation.

BIRTHMARKS:
Xavier has no birth marks that he is aware of which gets him down sometimes, as his twin Ares has two prominent freckles on his face that make his appearance more interesting. Xavier does not believe his skin is interesting and this is the only thing about his appearance that he feels particularly strongly about. He finds birth marks, freckles, and other complexion differences make someone appear more interesting so he admires these traits on other people which is part of the reason he thinks his own appearance is boring.

BODY TYPE:
Xavier is of a medium height and build, and is slowly growing to have more muscle as he ages. His shoulders are gradually becoming more broad as he is growing taller. He was chubby as a kid but was never overweight and this is mostly due to how active he is in the outdoors because he has a very insatiable appetite and will eat nearly anything if he thinks it tastes good. This predictably includes worms and other kinds of bugs.

BLOOD TYPE:
Xavier's blood type is B Negative and he apparently shares this with his brothers and his late mother. Xavier does not care much about his blood type besides the fact it is another genetic link to his mother though he is well aware of what his blood type is because of Isaiah who regularly pressed him to remember it when he was younger. Xavier does not understand the importance of being aware of his blood type but he has memorized it to humor Isaiah.

WHICH HAND?:
Xavier is right handed as he was taught to read and write by his brother Isaiah and naturally picked up the way in which Isaiah writes. However Xavier's handwriting is very messy and inconsistent, the kind of hand writing that only he can understand most of the time. This often hinders him as professors are sometimes unable to properly mark his homework and assignments, and also because whenever he writes a letter or birthday card the people reading it often ask what he was writing. He has made no effort to neaten his handwriting despite how messy and unreadable it is since starting school as Xavier believes he is the only one that needs to be able to read his handwriting.

VOICE:
Xavier has a strong Australian accent much like the rest of his family. His accent has softened during the years he has been in school due to the many different people he speaks to and since knowing his step father. Though despite his accent softening it is still unmistakably Australian and can be easily distinguished by others as Australian.

I CAN SPEAK:
Xavier can only speak fluent English and has made no effort to learn any other language it is the language most commonly used in Australia and New Zealand. He is not against learning other language or having other languages spoken around him as Hogwarts New Zealand is a very diverse school, though he does not see the point of learning another language unless it is necessary.

I AM ALLERGIC TO:
Xavier does not have any known allergies which he is thankful for. Ares has a slight allergy to mint which means he avoids all foods with mint and Xavier is glad to not have an allergy for this reason as he does not want to worry and make the effort to avoid a plant or food to also avoid getting sick.

PERSONAL STYLE:
Xavier has a very laid back personal style. He does not pay attention to fashion and neither does he care about his appearance so he wears clothes that he believes are comfortable. When he is not in his Hufflepuff uniform for school he is most often found in varying tank tops, loose shorts, loose jeans and hoodies depending on the weather. In winter he will add more layers to keep warm but he still makes no effort to look presentable and the clothes he does wear are often mismatched, dirty and/or ripped. His footwear of choice varies depending on the weather and what he is doing that day, but most of the time he alternates between wearing sneakers and gumboots and is more often found in gumboots because they're sturdy and versatile, perfect for hunting bugs in and while trekking around in the wilderness. Xavier will make more of an effort with his style for special occasions however this is much to his dismay as being clean and appearing clean is very far out of his comfort zone.

CHARACTER LIKES:
Xavier likes anything to do with the great outdoors, but more specifically, he loves discovering bugs, gardening, climbing trees, digging holes in the dirt and exploring the wilderness. Some of his other likes include learning about magical creatures and learning new ways in which he can collect potion ingredients when he is outside. This is newly discovered since Xavier has recently become more interested in school and his favourite subjects are care of magical creatures and potions. Xavier also likes stories however he does not have much of an attention span to listen to a story from start to finish, and he doesn't often listen to stories as much as he used to since he is growing older. Xavier also likes open minded, kind people and is glad that he is placed within Hufflepuff house because the people he has met and fostered friendships with are extremely kind and welcoming.

CHARACTER DISLIKES:
Xavier tends to keep an open mind and does not have many dislikes, but he does generally dislike close minded people, people who dislike bugs and/or getting their hands dirty and people who are mean spirited for seemingly no reason. Xavier is both literally and figuratively a down to earth kid, so he does not like nor understand not being open to new experiences simply because of being 'dirty', this is also due to the fact he is a hands on learner. Xavier also greatly dislikes the stigma that bugs are disgusting as he believes they are magical creatures that are important to the earth's eco system. Xavier also dislikes mean spirited people on the grounds that he likes to give everybody the benefit of the doubt, and likes to assume the best of others so he therefore dislikes mean spirited mindsets because they are not similar to his own.

GOALS:
Currently, Xavier's only goals are focused around having fun with his friends, becoming better at using magic, and generally passing school. He has recently discovered a love for learning since studying Care of magical creatures and becoming more involved in his potions classes, but still only aims for average marks since his spare time is still predominantly focused on catching bugs and exploring the school grounds. His goals in that regard are to capture as many bugs as he can find, both magical and non-magical, around the Hogwarts grounds and to have fun with his group of friends. As he grows into his later years of schooling he will strive for better grades and to attempt to figure out what kind of career (if any) he would like to have when he graduates but these goals are not currently on his mind as he is still very young.

BOGGART:
Despite thinking of his late mother fondly, and hearing nothing but good things about the woman from Isaiah, Xavier's boggart would be his interpretation of what her ghost would look like. This is because as a young child Xavier often had nightmares depicting a ghost of her and the images within those nightmares would continue to scare him. He is not truly sure why he had nightmares with her ghost, but he has gathered throughout the years that the nightmares were at least partially caused by his worries about his family and the issues they faced before Xavier's father met his step father. Xavier has luckily not had any of the nightmares repeat for years and he also has not allowed those experiences to taint the view he has of his mother.

PATRONUS:
Xavier cannot currently conjure a patronus but when he is able to, it will take a form of a Gopher. This is because Gophers are burrowing rodents, who are constantly within dirt and foraging for food and have specific traits to aid this behavior. Xavier relates to this as he, himself is constantly foraging in the dirt to discover more bugs. Xavier is also a rather subdued person who makes no effort to stand out which would contribute to his patronus taking the form of a common and quiet rodent.

PATRONUS MEMORY:
Xavier's could draw on any of the memories spent with his brothers and family for a patronus. This is simply because he has many happy memories with them. One memory in particular that stands out to him and the memory he will choose over the others, is the memory he has of riding the hogwarts express with Ares and Isaiah on his way to Hogwarts for the first time. He remembers being very excited and asking his older brother so many questions about the school and what house he might get sorted into. It was a fun journey and he will remember his excitement forever.

MIRROR OF ERISE
Xavier would his brothers and his fathers all happy together as well as himself happy in the mirror of erised. What truly makes Xavier happy is knowing that others around him are happy so he would see them as happy before anything else. The specifics of why each of his family members would be happy, and who they were standing with (if there was anyone else) would change depending on the circumstances of Xavier's life, as well as the specifics of his own image in the mirror but the overall theme of what he would see in the mirror is that of his family's happiness and the happiness of the other people he loves.

AMORENTIA:
Xavier is clueless to anything to do with 'love' and relationships which is due to both his age and his sexuality, however he would mostly smell things related to nature. He would smell things as specific as bark on a tree, soil and mown grass while also smelling things that are subjective depending on his mood or point of view, such as a summer breeze and dusty or humid air. This is generally what he would smell but in the future when he falls in love, the smells will cater to be more specific to the person he has feelings for.

I LOOK UP TO:
Xavier looks up to both his fathers and his twin brother equally though he looks up to his older brother, Isaiah, more than anyone else in the world. He sees Isaiah as confident, smart, honest, dedicated and genuinely as an amazing person because he has no reason to think of Isaiah otherwise. Isaiah has always been a kind and loving person to Xavier, and Xavier hopes he will one day be able to be just as kind and loving. This is also part of the reason Xavier has begun to become more interested in certain classes, as he thinks part of the reason Isaiah is so amazing is due to his intelligence.

RELIGIOUS BELIEFS:
Xavier does not have any particular religious beliefs as he was raised without any religion, though he would identify more closely with atheism than anything else because he is so down to earth and prefers to believe facts and what he can see and touch with his own hands. He would never tell someone that their religious beliefs were wrong but in his own head he would not believe something that he has never experienced himself or discovered.

CURRENT SCHOOL:
Xavier currently attends Hogwarts New Zealand, he is sorted into Hufflepuff house and he is very proud of it.

Xavier was sorted in 2039 alongside his twin brother, Ares.

SORTING POST:
Isaiah had told them stories of a large, auspicious hall filled by four prominent tables respectively decorated with green, blue, red and yellow overlooked by a ceiling like the sky. He had told them stories of having his fate for the next seven years taken from his own hands and decided by a momentary exchange with an old, yet wise hat placed on his head. Stories which Xavier had listened to, intently and curiously, but stories he had chosen not to believe and only wanted to think as a narrative until the sight unfolded in front of his eyes.

Xavier stepped alongside Ares into the hall as he took the atmosphere in, admiring the sights and the sounds of the students while his eyes scanned the room in the hope of spotting Isaiah. The hall itself was as large as Isaiah's stories had foretold, intimidating even with the students staring the soon-to-be first years down with mixed expressions as they huddled together in a small group while walking to towards where the headmistress stood. Ares' sudden tugging on Xavier's sleeve darted his attention from the world around him in a different direction. His face lit up with a bright expression when his eyes fell on Isaiah at the Ravenclaw table, perched on his seat and looking as proud as ever. Xavier waved enthusiastically, resisting the urge he had to call Isaiah's name and choosing to give him wordless thumbs up instead to show that everything was alright. Xavier was ready to be sorted, that much was certain. He was ready to put an end to the stories and letters from Isaiah during the year because they were there, in the same school at the same time, able to experience the same things, first hand and alongside each other. Xavier was nothing but excited, although he was still slightly distracted by taking in every detail of the new environment he found himself in.

The group stopped and Xavier moved his attention from Isaiah and back to the headmistress, patiently waiting through the names called and the owners of the names being sorted. It was fascinating, really. How a magical hat could read someone's mind in the space of a few seconds and sort them into a house. Xavier smiled when Ares' name was called first and watched in awe as the hat was placed on his twin brother's head and before he knew it his own name rung in his ears. He stepped forward and sat comfortably on the stool, smile still apparent on his features as he awaited the hat's decision of where he would be placed in the school for the next seven years.

"You're smart, but Ravenclaw is not where you'll thrive. I know the right house for you though. HUFFLEPUFF!"

BEST CLASS:
Xavier would consider his best and favorite classes to be Care of magical creatures and Potions as he loves each of them immensely and finds the subjects within each of his classes very interesting. He loves learning about different magical creatures, specifically bugs and he loves brewing potions and figuring out which potion ingredients he is able to find around the castle and grounds whenever he is exploring. Each of these subjects cater to the interests he has outside of class so he simply cannot pick which one he loves the most.

WORST CLASS:
Xavier does not have a specific worst class as the marks he achieves in his subjects are average, however the classes he dislikes the most are history of magic, divination, ancient runes and arithmancy as each of those subjects are orientated indoors and, require copious amounts of writing and many of them are focused around theories and perceptions rather than facts and a physical medium which Xavier can learn from. Xavier is a hands on learner and does not like these subjects as he does not have the patience, attention span or understanding to do well in them.
