set over Y28 Holiday Break in the United States
Dominik Perrie was beyond nervous. There were so many ways that this plan could go wrong, however, that did not stop the Gryffindor from having his parents bring him to the United States. He and Velma had agreed to meet at a cafe nearby, and he was about ten minutes early. He paced in front of the cafe as he twiddled with his fingers. Dominik was never like this. He was ongoing seventh year who had no fears. But he could not help but think that Velma would be disappointed in him. His grades weren't the best, and the only things he was good at were memorization and acting on rash decisions. His low self-esteem was also a fault of his.
Dominik took a deep breath and charged into the cafe with confidence. He was not going to let this meeting break him. He had siblings and a whole new family for crying out loud. He needed to be excited, not worried. Plus, it was only his sister that he was meeting. She was probably more spooked than he was. She had found out that her parents had abandoned their first child. The boy took a seat at a table and tried to avoid ordering coffee, which would only make his anxiety worse.
