Once down in the dungeons, Thaddeus came to the conclusion that walking all the way down had been a stupid decision. Should've started here first, the fourteen-year-old thought to himself as the thought of walking all the way up back to the Gryffindor common room popped into his head. He waited in front of the entrance of the Slytherin common room until someone stepped into the dungeons and asked, ''Is Fleur Worth by any chance inside?'' and then waited for them to look inside to see if she was in there.

Fleur had been taking a break from delivering her roses as she had to search high and low for the Gryffindor students on her list. Sitting in the Common Room had seemed like a nice way to take her break until someone came in and told her to go outside. She was surprised. She didn't think she'd be getting a rose, well of course the vain girl could only hope she got one. She really hoped it was about a rose and not just Evelyn wanting to hang out, though she'd gladly hang out with her best friend. Coming out of the common room she saw the boy who had organized the flower deliveries this year standing there with a pink rose. She hadn't thought he'd actually deliver roses as well after doing all that work. "Hey, I'm Fleur," she said brushing her hair behind her ear unable to help but notice the pink rose in his hands.

He turned his head when he saw someone approaching him and smiled when she told him that she was Fleur. ''Hi, Fleur.'' he replied. ''I have a rose to deliver to you so I hope I'm not bothering you.'' the Gryffindor said. He'd seen her hanging around with one of his classmates a lot so couldn't help but wonder if it was from him or not. ''Here you go,'' he said whilst handing over the rose to the girl.
Fleur,

A flower for Fleur.

Rory

Fleur smiled at her classmate he was a cute boy though she didn't know much about him. He was a Gryffindor like Evelyn and Rory, in a few of her classes but as they got older the number of classes they continued to share grew smaller. She wondered what sort of person he was. "Thanks, Thaddeus right?" She asked making sure she had his name right in her head. She took the rose with a smile and bite her lip as she opened the letter wondering who it was from. A frown grew on her face as she glanced up at the boy in front of her. It was from Rory. She had sent him a yellow one, she didn't think he'd send her a pink one. If anything she expected another boy in their year to send a pink one to her, but she wasn't sure about that. "Uh, thanks." Fleur said unsure what to do with the flower. Pink was her favorite colour, Rory got that right. Maybe it really meant nothing, though all the flirting over break she didn't think it was nothing. She couldn't tell Anabelle about this, since she was the one dating Rory. Her mother would be proud of her, getting a pink rose from a well-to-do pureblood. "No one else knows that you're giving this to me right? I mean besides the sender right?" She asked hoping this boy wasn't friends with Riley, she had a feeling this guy knew she was close to a few of the other Gryffindors. She'd rather keep this rose between the three people who currently knew about it; her, Rory, and Thaddeus.

The Gryffindor smiled, ''Thaddeus, yes, but you can call me Teddy. Everyone does.'' and hoped that she would as well. He nodded his head at Fleur's question and said, ''That's right, only you, me, and the sender know that you received this rose.'' He wondered why she asked such a question but didn't think about it too long, as it was not for him to know unless she wanted him to know.

Fleur listened to Teddy reply while her thoughts were locked on to why Rory would dare to send her a pink rose. They were friends and sure maybe they kind of flirted but she was sort of friends with his girlfriend. His stupid butt was going to cause trouble in the dorms if she didn't get rid of the note. "Thanks Teddy. Great job, by the way. Getting the whole thing together. Do you think you could throw out this note?" Fleur said holding out the note with Rory's handwriting inside. She didn't want it, not anywhere Anabelle could find it. She was still trying to be friends with the girl and Fleur didn't need Rory getting in the way of that even if he was probably the only kid in her year her parents would agree to her dating and then marrying.

He frowned when she asked if he could throw the note away. ''If you really don't want it... sure, I could throw it away.'' Thaddeus said, waiting a couple of seconds to take the note from the girl just in case she'd change her mind. ''I haven't read the note out of privacy, but if someone's bullying you, you should say so.'' he told Fleur.

Fleur simply nodded and continued to hold out the note when he seemed unsure about throwing it out. If he threw it out somewhere the Slytherin's would go it had a better chance of remaining a secret. Just between the three who knew about it. "Oh," she said surprised she hadn't thought it sounded like she was being bullied. "It's not like that. He isn't bullying me. I just, I know what the note says and I'd rather not keep it, it's not mean." Fleur now was unsure with what Teddy would do but she hoped it would be tossed out somewhere rather quickly and that there weren't any garbage pickers looking to cause trouble that would find it.
