Pixie liked Hogwarts. It was nice to be away from her family, to just be at school, in the backgrounds, just being able to enjoyed herself. She didn't have any friends but she didn't mind, didn't need any. She had brought her cauldron outside, of course she wasn't going to make a potion, she couldn't get the ingredients they had. But she didn't mind. She was sitting at the water's edge with her cauldron, just pretending to make her own potion. Pixie had put some moss and some dirt in there, some water from the lake and was just having fun. She didn't need others to have fun.

The more she adjusted to school life at Hogwarts, the more of a disappointment Maggi was beginning to realise it was. No performances, not even any music or dance classes, absolutely nothing to keep her occupied. Magic was fun, there was no question about that, but Maggi wanted attention, she wanted a stage, and school just didn't have anything like that for her to do. Magic was fun though, and it was better than nothing. So when she spotted a classmate of hers doing what looked like brewing a potion at the lakeside she made a beeline for the Hufflepuff, giving the girl a friendly smile. "Hi." Maggi said cheerfully. "Are you brewing a potion?"

Pixie had just began putting in some torn grass and mostly dead flowers into her mixture as she was joined by another girl. Pixie looked her over as she took in the question before just nodding slowly. She didn't feel the need to say anything, what was there to say? But instead her gaze just lingered on the girl in front of her. She was no hufflepuff, Pixie would remember her if she was. But Pixie hadn't paid enough attention to know which of the other houses she was in, and admittedly she didn't really care. Pixie just moved her gaze back to her fake cauldron and kept making the 'potion'.

Most of her life, Maggi's friends had been the girls from dance, her drama classmates, the choir she sang with. She didn't really know much about how to make friends with people she wasn't taking a class with. So when the girl didn't respond Maggi took half a step back, wondering if she had said something wrong. "Sorry..." She said hesitantly, glancing down at the potion again, then back up at the girl. Maybe the potion was secret?

Pixie looked back up at the girl and shook her head. Just to imply that the girl had nothing to be sorry for. She was just not the sort of person to talk to people so she just focused on her potion again and realised that maybe she had to say something about. "You can stay," she said, her thick australian accent on her words, but she focused on her potion, not really caring if the girl did or not. It would make no difference to her.
