Hinata had sent out the notice just a couple days ago. She hoped that some people would show up, but at least it made her feel better to know that her siblings would be showing up. She knew that most of them weren't really interested in planting, or the Wild Patch in general. But they'd still signed up this year just because she was chosen to lead the club - still an interesting decision she thought, but she was hoping that she would make her predecessor proud. This semester, she thought that planting some pollinators would be a good idea before they start preparing flowers for next semester. And so she had some help with the house elves to have a long table full of various pollinator plants, all labeled. - koromiko, lavenders, coneflowers, cosmos, marigolds, some thyme, oregano, and chives, and some others. She hoped that there were enough options for everyone. She'd also already designated areas for each of the plants, multiple ones really so that they could be scattered strategically around the garden - she had help figuring that out. There was also another long table at the edge of the garden, ladled with snacks and drinks for everyone.
As people started to fill in she shyly greeted them and ushered and encouraged them to have a drink or a snack - it was best not to plant on an empty stomach after all. It also gave everyone a chance to mingle she supposed before she gave them work. Once the flow of arrivals have stopped as far as she knew, she cleared her throat to call everyone's attention though perhaps not loud enough since her sister lost patience and shouted, "OI!" which got most if not everyone's attention in her opinion. It made Hinata blush brightly. "H-h-hi. T-thank you all for coming," she said with a formal bow, hands clasped in front of her. It was hard not to fall back into Japanese behavior in front of all these eyes. "W-we're planting some pollinators today. You can choose p-plants or l-labeled areas as you wish. A s-small Sementis Medicates spell is recommended for each p-plant. O-older students, p-please partner up with t-the first years since t-they likely haven't perfected it yet," she said as she gestured towards the plants. "T-that is all. T-thank you a-and feel free to h-have snacks and drinks throughout the afternoon," Hina bowed again and hoped that people would start to work so their attention could be taken away from her.
