Today was a day like no other. Avory had spent the majority of it was Axel and that alone was enough to keep the pregnant Death Eater happy. Although she had been spending more and more time with Axel since the two met again just a few months ago. Even though he was still, unfortunately, married this did not dampen her spirits for she knew he would soon be rid of the awful woman he called his wife and he and Avory could finally be together. Stifling a yawn Avory went into the kitchen, her fluffy slippers dragging across the floor. She and Axel had spent part of the day finalising Aleric's room for it wasn't too long now until Avory would be ready to give birth. As the days drew closer and closer to the due date Avory became more cautious of everything she did, all for the sake of her unborn child. Reaching for a glass she filled it with some water. As the glass touched her lips she felt a sharp pain in her stomach, one far more worse than she had become used too over the past few months. Letting her hands drop to where the pain was she let the glass drop, the smash echoing with her cry of pain. Holding her stomach she knew something wasn't right!

Axel was in the living room, practically counting down the days until the divorce was final. Aleric's room was finished, thank Merlin. Axel was not much into remodeling a room, but he knew that Prodan and Kalif were doing the exact same thing. Only Prodan had a girl's room planned. That was a funny sight, seeing Prodan painting a room and decorating it in girlie colors. Axel glanced in the direction of the kitchen, after hearing a smash of a glass, and a cry of pain. Axel felt a jolt of energy, and not the good kind either. Most Death Eaters like him loved the sound of pain. But not this woman to him. Axel rushed to the kitchen, and the sight itself was horrifying. Narrowing his eyes, he wondered why in the world was she having pains? Was Aleric all right? Wrapping his strong arms around Avory, he murmured, "I think we better get you to the hospital. I'll apparate if you are able..."

Avory took a few quick breaths as the pain subsided again. She had done enough research to know that pains like this was normal so late in the pregnancy but there was something that was telling her it wasn't normal, not for her body anyway. Sighing with relief as the pain seemed to have completely disappeared she felt Axel's arms around her. She took his words into consideration, on one hand it could be nothing but then again it was always better to be sure, right? Wincing again as the same sharp pain returned she frantically nodded, "I think we better had." she said through the pain.

Axel cringed a bit. Something was wrong. Axel nodded, and he apparated to the Saint Mungo's. Immediately, he called over a few healers and they were led into a room. Axel was of course, holding onto Avory in any shape or form possible. Axel murmured, "Everything will be okay. I'm here with you every step of the way." Axel tried to recall the people in the lobby. Then it struck him. Did...he see Kalif following after some healers? Could his wife be giving birth as well? How odd... It would help explain the rush of healers out and about.

Avory felt the rushing session of apparating and it didn't go well with her curret state but she quickly forgot about it. As soon as her feet touched solid ground again she heard many voices, quickly scanning the lobby between the jolts of pain she saw it was rather busy and a number of healers were rushing around. Before she could have time to focus in on any faces she felt herself being taken into a room, she looked up to be sure Axel was still with her, she needed him now more than ever. Why was there being such a hugh fuss? She was still way off the due date, she just hoped nothing was wrong was Aleric. Fear started to rush through the pregnant woman's body, she had become so attatched to the baby inside her over the past months, she didn't want to loose it. As tears started to roll down her cheeks she held Axel close until a healer came to see them.

Axel used his other hand to wipe the tears away. There was no way that he would lose this baby. Not his son. It would be his only mixed-blood child. Axel did not care though. He would love it all the same. Aleric would be a splendid little boy. Axel would make sure of that. The healer came in, and Axel growled at them, "You better make sure that my kid is safe, or I will strangle you!" The healer nodded and he went to Avory's side. There better not be anything wrong with his baby. Not Aleric. Axel will kill all the healers in the hospital if he did not come out safely. Axel wondered if the baby was coming, or if something even more dangerous was happening. Was the baby in danger? Would both Avory and Aleric live through this? All these thoughts were getting Axel a little more anxious and making his blood pressure rise.

Avory was glad that Axel was with her during this, she didn't know if she would have been able to cope with it by herself. Sure she had her friends....her friends? She didn't even have time to tell them that she was going to St. Mungo's, hopefully nothing was wrong so she wouldn't have to worry them anyway. Avory lifted her head as she heard one of the healers come in, a smile spreading on her lips as she heard Axel's threat, or promise rather. It may seem strange to anyone else to have such a thing cheer them up but to this Death Eater, it was rather amusing and she would take pleasure in having Axel fulfil the promise if anything did happen Aleric.

Letting go of Axel Avory followed the healer to an empty bed. She tried not to let the nerves get the better of her as she was given a hospital gown to change into behind closed curtains. Once she had changed the healer helped her get on to the bed. After a few minutes of doing Merlin only knew what Avory saw the healer stand up.
"OK Ms, seems like you're almost ready to have this child. I'll be right back." said the nurse as she opened the curtains and began walking out the room. "But I'm not due for over a month yet!" she said in a worried tone, surely having the child this early couldn't be good, right? "Everything will be fine Ms. You are in very capable hands, we just have a few other woman to attend too first" the nurse informed Avory in a calm voice before rushing out to check the other woman having their babies today.

As Avory lay on the bed she looked over at Axel, feeling much more relaxed - despite the pain which was getting closer now - at least she knew nothing was wrong. "Good thing we came when we did, huh?" she said with a lame attempt at a laugh before another contraption came.

"Who in the bloody hell is also having babies?" Axel raised an eyebrow and he shook his head. Ready to have the child..now? A month early? This was May! The baby was due in June, wasn't it? Axel could have sent out a crucio but he withheld his tongue for Avory, even though he had a feeling that she would enjoy that anyway. Axel nodded, "I think it is. Just let me know when you are in pain so much that you need a healer immediately."

Avory didn't know, nor could she care less about who else was having babies, she was about to give birth and that's all that mattered to her. She nodded at Axel's words, she wondered just how long it would be until she needed a healer to come in again. Avory tried to make herself comfortable in the bed, settling in for a long wait, she just hoped not too long.

Time passes

As the contraptions grew closer and closer Avory was now in constant pain, not having time to catch her breath after each contraption that came. Between quick breaths she turned to Axel, "Where the hell are those healers." she wanted the pain to stop, no amount of tortue could compare to this.

Axel growled in anxiety. Of course, where were those damned healers? Axel nodded at Avory, and he said, “I’ll go get us a few. Drag them kicking and screaming if I have to.” Axel kissed Avory’s hand, before standing up and going out the door. Within a few moments, Axel brought in two spare healers. Axel’s face was a little more than shocked. He went to Avory’s side and he whispered, “Um, the others just arrived. Cecily is having hers, or has, as well as Nicolette… I don’t know if Nataliia is going to today or not. But just breathe.” Then the healers, thankfully, started to tend to Avory. Axel could not believe it. No one he knew would be in here for Avory except him cause the others are having their kids too. Best friends had to share everything, don’t they.

Avory let out a half attempted laugh at Axels word, how she loved when he teased her with the torture of others, but right now that was the last thing on her mind - after all it was part of the reason she was here now, in this situation. Feeling a great pressure she felt the urge to push, the baby was coming but she wanted to wait for the healers, for Axel, for anyone - she didn't want to go through by herself, she just wished her friends were here but it was too late to contact them. Avory was relieved when Axel came back with two healers. As they prepared themselves Avory listened to Axel's words, words that shocked her but in a good way, "What?!" she screamed as the pain increased, in response to his news. But Avory didn't wait to hear his words anymore except she grabbed his hand and squeezed as hard as she could, and so the pushing began.
Sitting up on the bed Avory still felt sore, tired and weak but the over whelming urge to see her child quickly put all those thoughts out of her mind as she held the beautiful baby boy in her arms. Daring to look away from him she looked at the one other person that mattered to her. Smiling she dropped her glance again. "He's beautiful." She spoke softly and lovingly. "Do you want to see daddy?" she asked sweetly to her son as she passed him over to Axel, this was a big of a moment for him as it was for her and knowing how much he loved children she didn't want to deprive him from holding his son for much longer.

Axel’s hand was a bit…more than a bit sore when Avory had squeezed his hand during the birth. Axel winced when he attempted to bend his fingers but he did not mind. The boy was beautiful. Axel smiled warmly, and he took Aleric into his arms. Axel glanced down at the mother, and he murmured, “You are a perfect angel, or demon rather, or something. But we make a perfect family.” It was the honest truth. They were perfect. Him, Avory, and Aleric. It was just too much. The son of two Death Eaters, one who came from a mysterious family, and another from a vicious and powerful one. All combined into one little baby boy. Axel was a proud father, and he smirked down at the treasure he now held in his arms. Soon, Avory would be his as well.

Avory watched Axel as he heald Aleric, he was such a natural as this, Avory just hoped she could do her new job as a mother as well as he could. Avory laughed lightly at Axels words, it hurt to laugh but she forgot about the pain, it was worth it. "We do, don't we?" she said rhetorically, as she smiled fondly at her two favorite males in the world. A yawn escaped the young Death Eaters lips, her eyelids were heavy but she didn't want to take her eyes off the sight in front of her. As a thought entered her memory she became more awake, "Wait, didn't you say the girls were in too?" she asked, she hadn't had time to let the news sink in but if the other girls were in having their children at the same day it would be too weird.

"Yes, Nataliia went into operation to get the kids out because one was in danger. Cecily had hers a bit ago, and Nicolette had twins." He planted a soft kiss upon her head, and he noticed that she was getting tired. A nurse came in to take Aleric to get him checked up. The nurse informed them of what was going on, before taking the baby and leaving. Axel glanced over at Avory and he murmured, "Why must you best friends share everything? Including having the babies all at the same time? Seriously." Axel chuckled, and he took a seat on the bed but not where he would be hurting her.

Avory listened to Axel's words about her friends. It was truely amazing that they had all gone into labour on the same day, around the same time. She would have to see them soon, but now she was just too tired and she would be sure the rest of them would, especially Nataliia and Niccy after going through multiple births. Avory watched as one of the healers came in and took Aleric, she didn't want to part with him so soon but she knew she would have many years to spend with him, and Axel, as a family. Avory laughed softly at Axel words, "It's a female thing." she responded as she rested on Axel enjoying the feeling she had when she thought that this was what her future was going to be like.
