Mikayla truged around in front of her home. Why did it have to be this way? Why did she have to be too young to get involved? Why did he have to go to jail? Why was everything all wrong. Mikayla was very distressed. She didn't know what she was going to do, everyone was keeping everything from her, they wouldn't tell her anything. Why couldn't she know? Why wouldn't they tell her? Was she supposed to just sit down and shut up for the rest of her life, not knowing anything? She wouldn't, she was going to downright refuse to it. She would not be told know. She had that enough as a kid. She didn't know anything. Even Leah kept stuff from her. She wasn't going to have it any more.
Already being late at night Mikayla pushed open the door and walked into the house looking for the one person she thought might be able to explain things to her. "Dad! Where are you!?" She called out as she looked around. She wanted answers and she wanted them now, no matter how long it was going to take. She couldn't take it anymore. Her brother was in jail, and it was breaking her heart that she couldn't do something about it. "Dad, come out here please.." She called again in a slightly more distressed tone.
