Jade had barely had any time to eat before realizing she had no idea where any of her classes were. Another painful reminder that her time management skills sucked more than most. She'd been nearly late to most of her classes, and still had a few that she knew vaguely where they were but if pressed would have no concrete answer to its location. Not to mention her consistent sleeping in was leaving her no time to actually chat with her house. Even when she had time most of the others were already occupied in other conversations, and she wasn't about to be the rude one who interrupts a riveting conversation about what kind of chocolate frog card they'd gotten this time.
So this morning, like the last several mornings, she'd wandered the castle, locating all the classrooms. She was re-exploring the first floor, trying to memorize it. The castle was not helping though, with staircases constantly moving about and making her work to get back to where she was before. This morning it took her a solid fifteen minutes before she made it from her dormitory to the floor with the most classrooms, and she felt like giving up for the day. Leaning against the wall, she noticed several students passing back and forth throughout the hall, some just chatting, others looking like they were on important business. The brunette rubbed her temples and groaned, knowing that she was only doing her little exploring to keep her mind off of not having really connected to anyone yet. "Psh, friends, who needs friends?" she grumbled to herself. "I need friends. Ugh."
