Star had dressed very unlike her usual style today.Even though it wasn't even tht warm she had decided to in her mind dress up a bit.She was trying to be more outgoing and this was her way of achieving that goal. Some people might dress the way she was doing everyday but for Star it was a first and she was trying not to be self-conscience about it.Which was hard for a girl like her who thought everyone who looked at her judged her.She had borrowed the hat off her sister Kate, she had to say she quite liked what she was wearing. When she was finished getting ready she walked out of the castle and down to the Great Hall. She hated the way the ravenclaw tower was so high up.It was a pain in the butt trying to get anywhere. As she got closer to the Hall she noticed people whispering and she became worried when she saw another Rumor Has It magazine in their hands. She quickled made her way down to the Hall and went inside the hall.

When she walked out half an hour later for the first time in ages Star was actually angry. She was so annoyed at that stupid RHI magazine that kept writing bad things about her sister and Sammy and all those other poor people. They were so cruel and unfair.Star clenched her fists but quickly the anger left her.She had never been that angry in a long time.Usually it took a lot of effort to make her angry.Star sighed and walked down to the kitchens. She felt like making something. Her mother loved baking and it had kinda passed on to the rest of the Moon family. She walked down into the cool dungeons and found the kitchen. She walked in and found an apron. She decided to make Pizza. She didn't know why,it just popped into her head.So with the help of the elves she began getting everything ready.

Sorry for the delay and crapiness of this post :r

Jordan Trace was usually a [retty laid back type of guy. You'd find him in the courtyard or in an abandoned classroom working on his guitar skills. Today wasn't any different, he missed the last meal and knowing it was going to feel like hours till the next one he headed down to the Kitchens to see if the elves could make him something to eat. He wasn't a very picky type of guy, in fact he was very shy, even when talking to the elves who were supposed to be below him in standards of life, yet he treated them like the master feeding the dog whenever he came down. Asking for leftovers of the last meal as to not bother them that much.

Once Jordan entered the Kitchens he took a deeep breath and smelled something no teenage boy in his right mind could ever refuse, Pizza. Following his nose around the Kitchen he came across a blonde girl with flour all over her. He stopped by the ovens and took in the scene, as he did with most incounters with other humans anywhere. Usually he'd just let them go on their way and try not to hold a conversation with them, however it seemed this one girl he'd have to speak to if he wanted any of the pizza. He could smell it cooking and could see the girl didn't really seem to be in the mood for talking however his stomach was getting louder and louder by the minute. "Excuse me, miss? Are you the one cooking the Pizza I smell?" His tender soft voice asked into the air. Jordan wasn't sure if the girl had heard him or not, but hoped she had, otherwise it'd just be too awkward for him to ask again.

Star had always been a very good cook. Her mother was a fantastic cook and she loved cooking and she had passed on her love of cooking to all the Moon girls. All of them loved cooking and they often cooked together or they would do it separately. They're new kitchen was huge and there was plenty of room for all three of them to cook at the same time though that usually didn't happen. They had a cook too who often advised them on what recipes were best or gave them new ones to try or if they were ever in trouble all they had to do was go to her and she would help them.It was useful having a professional cook and your mother to help with your cooking. It was why the three girls were such good cooks.Star often came down to the Hogwarts kitchen to cook.It was one of her favorite things to do and it was great because you didn't even need to do it with anyone. You could do it by yourself which was great for Star who didn't have much friends.

Star had now made the dough and she put it into the freezer in the kitchen. She washed her hands and got out the vegetables and food. She had peppers, cheese and ham.She didn't like much toppings on her pizza, she liked it plain. She began chopping her peppers and sliced the ham.As she was slicing the ham,she heard a voice. She was surprised as she hadn;t noticed anyone, she managed to cut her finger. "Shoot"She said rushing over to the tap and running it over it.She looked over at the boy who seemed the same age as herself. She hadn't actually heard what he said so as she got some tissue for her finger. The elves were crowding around her, wondering what was wrong "Don't worry I'm okay"She assured them, looking for the first aid shelf. "Oh Hey"She said smiling briefly at the boy. She got a plaster and put it on her finger.Once this was done she walked over "Hey I'm Star"She said smiling

Jordan saw as the girl cut her finger in suprise from him talking. He was going to race forward and help but the house elves beat him to it so he stayed where he was by the ovens careful not to touch them. Once the girl saw him and acknowledged that she saw himhe spoke again. "Um, hi. Do you mind if I joined you?" Jordan asked the girl. He wasn't sure how if she was interested in having anyone join her. He knew that he was never one for having people around him.

Jordan shifted his weight as he waited for an answer from the girl. Suddenly his stomach let out a loud rumble as he stood there awkwardly. "Oh, I'm sorry it's been awhile since I've eaten today," he tokd the sheepishly. He was more then willing to help the girl be it with the cooking or cleaning afterwards. Though he wasn't sure if she'd even let him have any.

Star tried to calm the elves around her,who were very worried about the state of her finger. It was only a small cut,she wouldn't die from blood lost due to the cut.It stung a little but it was a cut after all, they did have to hurt.Once the plaster was on it wasn't too bad.She was used to getting cuts on her knees and elbows.Who knew exploring could mean so much cuts? "Of course you can join me!"Star said smiling widely at the boy who seemed a lot like her.Star was usually very awkward when it came to speaking with people she did know but for some reason when she was cooking, all that disappeared and she didn't really mind talking to people.Too bad she couldn't cook all the time because it would be much easier to make friends.

Star laughed when his stomach rumbled. She didn't mean it in a bad way,her laugh was a kind laugh, nothing mean in it.She simply found it funny that his stomach was rumbling. He must be very hungry "Yes yes,it will be a bit of a wait before the pizza is done,so do you want a biscuit or something?I made some yesterday. They are in the press over there"She said, pointing to the press on his right.Star walked back to her work place and finished slicing the ham. "Do you want to help me?"She called out to him

Jordan was pleased as she said told him he could stay. The girl seemed to be a very friendly type of person which would be prefect for him to get to know. He knew she wasn't a Hufflepuff, but based on the personiality she let off it was clear she couldn't be a mean slytherin. Jordan moved closer to the area which the girl was working in. He wasn't sure what exactly to do so he waited for an instruction. It wasn't that he was an overly shy type of person, he was more of a people watcher. After being shunned by others at the orphanage as a child he never really learned how to converse with those near his age. The boy did not seem have to have an issue in talking to either of his new sisters or his older cousin who was big into music like him.

Slightly embarassed by his stomach Jordan moved over to the press to grab a biscuit. Based on the smells coming from the oven he was sure that they were going to taste just fine. Taking one out he turned around and leaned against the counter as he took a bite. He sighed happily as the taste was very good and filled his empty stomach up a bit. Jordan was about to reply that he had already asked to help however he realized she hadn't heard him before. "Sure, I'd like to actually," he stated as he finished the biscuit. However the boy just realise that the girl was actually quite pretty and a light blush appeared on his face. To keep the girl from noticing he turned around and stuff his face with another of her biscuits before turning back to face her mouth full. "Mmm! Really Good," he mumbled through the biscuit in his mouth. The young teen had never actually been in this sort of suituation before, when he found a girl to be pretty. Gulping down the last bits of food in his mouth he gave the girl a big grin.

Star had never been one to have friends. She would usually be seen reading a book by herself on some bench or chair around the castle.Or else she would be outside taking photographs with her new camera, that she was really starting to enjoy and it was a hobby that she was doing more and more these days. But recently she had also started to make friends. For her that was a huge achievement because in all her fourteen years of life she had never really made a friend. She had always had Ryan to talk to and hang out with but then in second year things started to change between the two.She would never see him around and in class he would always be the first to leave and when she would try to catch up with him he would walk faster and eventually he would run and even though Star knew she was faster them him,he obviously wanted to be alone. But she had given him space for over three years and she was completely fed up with him now.even when she had been crying in front of him,he had looked at her like a peace of dirt and had left.Star wold never ever forget that.

Star wasn't sure what biscuits she had made.It had been early yesterday and so many other things filled her mind yesterday that the type of biscuit had left her mind. She was almost sure she had just made chocolate chip yesterday.Usually she would make all different types of biscuits and buns.Since she loved to cook she often looked up loads of recipes and wrote them down on a diary her mother had bought her which was designed to write recipes into.Star left the diary in a secret place in the kitchen. It had hundreds of recipes in it and she didn't know what she would do if it was stolen or lost.Star smiled, glad that he wanted to help."Okay so could you spread the tomato sauce over the base?"She asked before going to the freezer and taking out the dough. She got some flour and started to kneed it.Once it was in a nice circular shape,it was ready for the sauce

Jordan waited as she told him what he could do to be a helping hand. "Um, Sure," he said looking around for sauce, he finally found it but had to wait for the girl to knead the dough in a circle for him. Glancing at the circle he felt like it needed to be thrown before sauce got put on. Picking up the dough once she was done with it he copied the moves he had seen on a muggle food channel once, "Watch this." It wasn't the prefect toss but it made him smile and laugh, he started spinning it in the air having it land on his fists. Suddenly it got quite large and streched out, which he found to be suprising. He through it up high one last time in hopes it'd strink however he missed his aiming and it landed on the girl's head. Standing there his fists still up to catch it he looked at the girl with quite a suprised face. "I'm really sorry, I was not planning on that happening!" Jordan told the girl as he moved forward to help her get the dough off of her.

Star had never tried the throwing the dough over her head before.Knowing her clumsy fingers, she would either drop it or it would land on herself or break something or just be destructive.Star was rather clumsy, she could drop something everyone else held easily. She had often broken things at home. She couldn't catch anything either. Her arm co-ordination was terrible. The only sport she was good at was running and swimming. She couldn't play anything like soccer or hurling she just wasn't in to that sort of sport. She did love running though, she would often go running early in the morning around the grounds of the school. She had been a member of the local athletic club at home. She had won quite a number of medals.Star watched as the boy spun the dough in the air,it was getting rather big but Star had a huge grin on her face as she watched him "That's ama..."She was cut off by the dough landing on her head. She was still for a few minutes before bursting out laughing "Oh don't worry don't worry,it's grand"She said between her laughter. She found all this terribly amusing. She took off the dough with the help of the boy.She had flour all over her hair and the dough was covered in marks from hitting her head. She shook her head and tried wiping the flour form her hair and face."Well that didn't work out as planned"She said grinning "Hey I actually never caught your name"She said smiling, beginning to kneed the dough again

Jordan helped the girl get all the dough from her hair, since most people can't see the back of their heads he worked on that side of her head first. "I think it looks great with the flour," he commented pointing out bits of flour on the apron and other clothing she had on. He had a light smile on his face still waiting for her to get upset and angry with him. But she was laughing and seemed to find it amusing. It upset him that she had to go to the work of making the dough round all over. Jordan got a towel wet and held it out for her to use to get some flour from her face and hair, "Try this." Once she began to knead the flour again she asked for his name and the boy realised then that they hadn't even introduced themshelves yet, which was usually the first thing you do when meeting a new person. "Oh I'm sorry, I'm Jordan Vanderhol," he wasn't sure if this girl was big in Quidditch or shopping at the mall. Both his older sisters played for the Wimbourne Wasps, though Serena had decided to run Vibez at the mall instead and Katlina still played, though she was married and had a different last name now. Of course he was adopted into the family but the lack of having friends at the school meant not many knew that. The one person he had met and really talked with was Ariahna Northwood, but she transfered to Beauxbatons awhile ago.

Star appreciated him helping to try get the flour and dough from her hair. She would have to give herself a good wash when she went back to the dorm.Star laughed "Thanks"She said grinning while looking down at her clothes and apron which was covered in flour. She was always terrible for making mess's while cooking. She just got bits of food everywhere. She wasn't sure how the food got where it did but it happened none the less. She just got used to it and that was why she always tied up her hair and wore an apron but sadly this time they had been no use as her hair and shoulders were covered in flour from the dough and small bits of dough "Oh well"She thought, shrugging her shoulders.she didn't mind really,it had been an accident and it hadn't killed her "Thank you"She said taking the wet towel and wiping the flour and dough from her face and bits of her hair. When she was satisfied she began kneading the dough again. She pushed down on it and she rolled it out with the rolling pin, grinning at the boy who introduced himself as Jordan Vanderhol. "Nice to meet you Jordan"She said smiling. Her smile was quite dazzling but Star didn't realize it,there were a lot of things a out herself that Star didn't realize, since she had never really had friends,no one but her family complimented her and she didn't always believe them because she thought they were just saying it because they were family. Once she was satisfied with the size and shape, she pushed it over to Jordan "Now for the sauce"She said gesturing to the jar of sauce and the spatula beside it

Jordan waited as she took the wet towel and wiped the flour off of her face and hair. She seemed like a real nice girl and when she smiled he thought she looked extra pretty. But the boy figured the girl already had a boy somewhere in the castle for her and it wouldn't be him. He was quite fine with being friends with her, since he didn't have many of those to begin with. Star passed over the dough for sauce and he choice not to try throwing it again. "Saucing the dough. Okay done now for toppings," he said sliding the pizza back towards Star. The young teen was not sure what Star had been planning on putting on, he new his favorite goodies to put on a pizza but it was for her to choose. He was a typical guy and would eat just about anything any which way.

Star couldn't remember this boy from anywhere in the castle though she was almost sure she had seen him before.Maybe from class or something? He looked around her age though Star wasn't good at guessing people's ages. She usually got in wrong as people didn't always look their age. Some could be taller, smaller or just look either older or younger for their age.Star didn't know if she looked her age.She had never asked anyone's opinion on the matter and she probably wouldn't ever. She watched as he put the sauce on the dough. She was only going for a pretty basic pizza today.Just ham, cheese and red peppers.Nothing special but still delicious. "Okay so we have ham"She said decorating the pizza. "Do you want to put on the peppers?"She asked holding them out to him

Jordan watched as Star put on the cheese and ham on the pizza. It already smelled wonderful in the kitchen the food they were making made it even better. He decided that it had the be one of his favorite places in the castle. When the girl turned to him he looked down at the peppers hoping they weren't the very spicy kind. "Sure," he said taking the peppers from her hands. He put a nearby knife in to use as he quickly chopped the peppers up and then rinsed them off for the pizza. He popped a few pieces into his mouth flashing a smile over to his cooking partner. They weren't that bad for him to eat raw. He plopped them around the pizza trying to get them over as evenly on the pizza as he could. Glancing up at Star he couldn't help but think that she reminded him of someone, another Hufflepuff just a year older then himself.
