Noemie had been incredibly pleased with the sorting, she had been placed in Ravenclaw which in her mind was quite possibly the best place to be in the school, it was the house she had been hoping for in her mind and she was holding her head up high, and walking through the halls with all the pride that she could muster. The ravenclaw had spent the morning, exploring her new surroundings, with a book in hand reading facts about the place that she would then be able to use if anyone ever asked them if they came up in conversation, even if it wasn't the most natural thing for them to come up. The part-veela eventually found her way to the library and was already in love with it within the few moments of stepping into the room. It was the perfect place for her, it had so many good things about it, and she couldn't quite understand why anyone would dislike such a place, it was so filled with knowledge.
The girl wandered the different aisles of books, running a finger along the spines of the book and she found herself smiling so easily at the large selection of books that she was passing. The girl eventually stopped when she noticed a book that was an introduction to transfiguration, which was one of the books she had brought with her to school, and since it was a while till dinner, and Noemie saw nothing better to do with her day than spend the time reading a book, and so she pulled the book out from the shelf and then sat down at the nearest table, opening the book at the first page, and beginning to read it. Despite not being originally from New Zealand, her english was a lot better than most would think when she spoke. The heavily accented words when she spoke did not reflect her ability to also understand, read and write english to a high level. The young ravenclaw with nothing better to do, but sat a large table, just began reading and immersing herself in the world of transfiguration.
