Sureya Eidos was nothing if not original. Her style was all her own, some days she wore pastels and pretty flowery dresses with runners and other days she wore casual clothes but sported with fancy shoes instead. Today she felt like making a statement, her mother had been extremely aggravating today and she could not think of any reason why this might be so. Nothing she did was right and though normally this might upset her so much she would have gone to her father to snuggle up and have a bit of a teary moment; this was certainly not one of them. Her father for starters was at work but Sureya did not want to cry, she did not want to feel upset because her mother was in a sour mood. No, today Sureya had woken in fine form and no one was going to put a damper on it. So glancing at the white jeans she wore and the pink and mint green blouse, she turned and stomped her way upstairs to change.

By the time she had returned she was wearing her frilly highwaisted skirt that came just past her knees. Her favourite pair of stockings which were black but skeleton leg bones visible on the front. Her grey t-shirt she tied in a simple knot infront and topped the whole ensemble off with a top hat decorated with a bow. Shoes were another matter of course and after rummaging around in her closet came out with a pair of Mary Jane black slippers. Delighted with herself now, she back combed her beautiful hair and clipped it up in parts. Skipping down the stairs again, she grabbed the old bike that was always parked at the side of their house and not bothering to tell her mother where she was going, cycled off to enjoy the day.

Eventually she came to the harbour town of Obsidian but had taken her time cycling enjoying every moment of the countryside that she had not noticed what time it was now. The cobbled roads made it harder to cycle on of course and so she descended from the pillion and walking the bike the rest of the way, began to wander towards the harbour itself. It was a cool day but not freezing cold. She had not brought a jacket with her but as she viewed the sky barren of clouds she seriously did not think she would need one anyhow. She was well aware of the strange looks she was receiving but could seriously careless, especially when she also noticed the attention that some boys were giving her. This always perplexed her because no matter how awful or how quirky she dressed, boys could not seem to help staring at her or wanting to do what she asked of them.

She had heard once upon a time her mother arguing with her father that perhaps there was Veela blood somewhere down her biological line but her father would not hear of it. Would only believe that it was his daughters goodness and beauty that made people stop and stare and not some tainted blood line. She did not know herself what a Veela was but as soon as she went to Hogwarts, she was going to use their library and subject herself to all manner of new things. Standing at the harbour wall looking out across the sea she smiled to herself, glancing up at the sky as well and more importantly the horizon. It all seemed so limitless, at one point it looked as if sky and sea met and simply continued on and this brightened her day even more.
