Leigh purposefully wandered her way through Brightstone village, a spring in her step, caused by her new environment. Leigh had grown bored of living in Scotland, and after graduating from Hogwarts Scotland not a week ago, a change in scenery was the perfect thing to point Leigh's thoughts in the right direction. Her plans for the day were to scout the area, and find a place which sparked her interest enough to return the next day. Leigh had spent her last seven years being in Ravenclaw house, and being in Ravenclaw had prepared the seventeen year old's mind to cope with almost anything, being able to pick up on new things quickly, and being able to see the logic and reasoning behind her actions, and sometimes even the actions of others. Leigh was intelligent, however she wasn't the brightest crayon in the box, nor did she set herself out to be, as she had run into many a rival during her years in Hogwarts Scotland, losing to her rivalries more often than winning, as she never desired to be the best, just one of the best. Not a hard goal to achieve, in her mind. A small smile appeared on the witches' features as she approached the landscape of a bench placed underneath a tree. It looked peaceful, serene somehow being shaded from the faded, and almost invisible sun. Leigh desired to rest her tired feet after a few hours of constant walking, scouting her new environment, and after that, spending a minute or two resting on a bench and recovering herself after a seemingly long day seemed like bliss. Leigh quickly sat down on the bench, her smile widening as a crowd of people walked idly past.

Sorry about the length! and this is her outfit.

it was the second day of the holiday and Briar was staying at school for a couple more days until the full moon had passed. she was starting to feel it sap her energy and wondered what she should do for the day. she didn't feel up for a large adventure, or anything like that so instead she packed a supply of food into her bag and headed into the village for an aimless day of wandering. as she was starting to get hungry she reached the park. and like in most parks there was a tree that was just asking to be climbed. she took a run up to the tree and in a few moments she was sitting in one of its branches. she reached out of her bag and took a handful of grapes. she ate them slowly watching some people come into and leave the park. she saw someone come and sit on the bench beneath her. she recognised the girl, and she was in the perfect position to make her jump. she silently edged along the branch before dropping out right in front of her. so close she almost hit her but not quite. "hasn't you ever been told to watch out for drop-wolves" she said making reference to a story she had heard of in australia about drop-bears.

length is fine, and picture Briar in black joggers and this jumper

Leigh sat quietly, the ambiance of the park keeping her silence natural, and eliminating any need, or desire to speak a word. It was in the quiet moments, musing to herself, did Leigh feel completely at ease. The seventeen year old didn't show any need to keep walking, because the bench posed as a perfect spot to just relax for the rest of the day before travelling back home to get a good night’s rest. Leigh's content thoughts were interrupted by an unfamiliar girl falling from a tree, and landing square in front of her, close enough to have hit her, but luckily that situation had been avoided. The sudden appearance of the girl caused Leigh to jolt up from the bench, and hold a delicate hand above her chest in shock. No doubt the girl landing in front of Leigh had frightened her, partly because it was so sudden, and partly because the girl could have hurt herself, spite the fact she looked pretty tough, tough enough to take such a fall from a tree. "Oh gosh, you scared me." Leigh said, slowly perching herself back on the bench after noting the girl was unharmed from the fall. Her lips returned into a smile as she felt herself calm down from the fright, her heart beating slower every moment. "Are you alright?" Leigh questioned the strange girl, adjusting her hat, which had almost fallen off when Leigh jolted mere moments earlier.

Briar had landed on her feet in front of jaden. She had taken much worse falls before, and much harder landings however the girls reaction was not what she had expected. "that was kind of the plan" she said she had been hoping to annoy jaden but she seemed to have then a new technique against annoyance. She rolled her eyes at her next question "like you care. But I am fine, taken much harder falls before. And that wasn't a fall more of a jump". She said not even looking at the girl butting change of attitude down ATP some kind of smugness that she had graduated and briar had not. Deciding to taunt her a little more she opened her mouth again. "You said that you want to play quidditch professionally when you leave school but which team will want someone who was kicked off the house team. Didn't you tell dee no pro teams would have you" she said enjoying teasing jaden so much she forgot her moon exhaustion and had gained a new wave of energy.

Leigh raised an eye brow at the girl, confused, and curious. She assumed this girl had mistaken her for another, yet that possibility seemed unusual. Not once in her life, had Leigh ever been mistaken for somebody else, as her unique tomboyish looks hadn't been mirrored, as far as the seventeen year old new. But since this stranger was talking to her, about Quidditch of all things it made her question whether or not mirroring her appearance was possible. Leigh flew, but hadn't once considered of flying professionally, so any words that came from the strange girl Leigh thought nonsense. However she listened, finally opening her mouth to reply once a flicker of silence had passed by. "What are you talking about?" She questioned, to the point, hoping to get an honest answer out of the stranger. Leigh was growing more confused by the minute, and the fact she was in an entirely new country didn't help either. She tilted her head to the side, analysing the girl, searching for a hint of familiarity, anything that would lead to the possibility she had met this girl before, but of course, Leigh hadn't seen this girl until she jumped out of the tree.

Briar looked at the girl when the reaction wasn't the same as she had expected. she sure looked like jaden, but she wasn't sure if it was, if so she was playing her well. she did look different, somehow softer than jaden, softer expression, a slightly softer hairstyle, and not quite as boyish outfit. when the girl asked what she was on about she frowned and shook her head. "You're not jaden are you?" she said feeling a little embarased for making such a fool of herself. "sorry bout scaring you, I'm Briar Rowan, I thought you were someone else" she said smiling at her, introducing herself, hoping to make up for her earlier mistake. Briar put her hand to her face and brushed some of the red hair that had fallen in her face. As she did so she felt the lines on her face where four lines were etched into her skin, the welts of her transformation in january, she remembered that it was a day until her transformation, it had only been eleven months since she had been bitten and she was already so used to it she didn't need to think twice about moon times, wolfsbane, or anything, she had already got the rest of the dates of the year etched into her mind.

Leigh, still confused as to what was going on, kept her head tilted to the side, her eyebrows furrowing, contrasting from the raised eyebrow a moment earlier. She mainly wanted to know who this strange girl was, without any of the banter previously happening in between. But it seemed the girl was too busy jumping out of trees to give Leigh so much as a straight answer. But the answer she was looking for finally came in the form of the girl's question. Leigh shook her head, indicating to the stranger that she wasn't the person she thought she was. Who was this Jaden person? Obviously somebody who looked enough like Leigh to spark a situation like the one happening, giving the seventeen year old even more questions to ask the stranger. "I'm Leigh." She stated, once the girl had introduced herself. Leigh's gaze dropped to the ground for a little while, letting silence fill the awkward air between the two since the other girl realised Leigh wasn't Jaden. The witch abruptly looked up from the ground "Who's Jaden?" Leigh finally queried Briar, wanting to get a straight explanation this time rather than having to listen to the girl talk about irrelevant things which annoyed Leigh further, she liked to get straight to the point and wasting time was the last thing Leigh wanted.

Briar looed at the girl who she had been cirtain had been Jaden. She did look scarily similar to her, though the way she was holdin herself and her expression some how was different. She smiled as she introduced herself as leigh. ”Well I am sorry to scare you like that Leigh” she said. As her eyes swept over her there were a whole lot od similarities between her and jaden. When she was questioned she smiled and shook her head slightly. ”Jaden, Jaden West, was someone who used to go to the school here” she said pointing to the castle. ”she just graduated a couple of days ago.” she said. She couldn’t think of much else to say. She didn’t want to say that they hated each other and they had some how ended up making aspects of each others life hell at times. So she stopped there wondering what Leigh wanted to know about Jaden.
