Alexis walked through the familiar streets of her home town in New Zealand. There was always something about this place that put her mind to rest. There was nothing in this town that she didn't know about, and that made it the one place that she could feel safe. Alexis didn't have any friends here, though, and that made it a very lonely place to be. For somewhere she could feel safe, it was a very hollow place to be. It was a solitary life that she lived. After watching her parents die before her eyes, she knew exactly how cruel the world could be, and she wanted someone who was like her. Not exactly like her, but somebody who would be able to tell who she was and wouldn't judge her. But, she knew that there was always the chance that she would run into somebody who couldn't understand her. Somebody who would judge her darkly, somebody who wouldn't try and help her. An enemy wasn't what she needed right now, or ever, but it was definitely something that everyone came across at one point in her life. Her thoughts were interrupted by footsteps near her. Thoughts of hiding crossed her thoughts, she didn't wanted to be found out here alone. What if it was somebody looking to hurt her?

Lysandra's life was harder than most just because of her height but she did not let that get in the way of anything she wanted. She wouldn't let it so it annoyed her when people acted wit self-pity so she held her head up high and when that failed her, she had venom that could rival any Cobra and was not afraid to use it to protect herself from people intentionally making her life harder than it already was due to being only three feet tall. And while she was able to take care of herself she felt that it all would have been easier if she had a sister or brother to be with but her father was not someone she ever wished to care for and her mother was just weak and could not get passed the past. The little girl's mother was really the reason for her annoyance in all weakness, even if neither knew it. The girl just tried so hard not to be like her mother that she could end up hurting people and it was why she did not spend any time with people here. They were just complications to the things she wanted but as she walked back to her hotel, where she and her mother would be staying until sorting would occur in winter, she came across a person and actually stumbled into her.

Alexis didn't realise what was going on until it actually happened. For, she was being bumped into by a girl who looked to be her age. She tripped over the girl and landed on her butt. "Ow." She said, sighing softly. Alexis didn't know who this person was. She wanted to run away. Would she chase her? Would she hurt her? Would she even do anything to her? Alexis didn't even know if she could trust this girl. After all, she hadn't even been watching where she had been going. She had bammed into her and had hurt her. Alexis sighed to herself. She wanted to be able to see this girl in a nice light, but she had had too many bad experiences to even think about any of it. Alexis didn't know what to do right now. So, she stayed on the floor, still looking up at the girl who had bumped her over.
