Josefina walked down the the first floor not in a wonderful mood. She was fully planning on just going back down to the Slytherin Common Room and stting before the fire. She knew it wasn't what she wanted to do, but after her experience on the third floor with some kid tripping her and her bullying the kid, she didn't feel like much exploring. However she noticed a sign that pointed off towards some classrooms. She figured she might as well try to find the classrooms she was going to be in for the semester before going all the way down to the dungeons. Walking off the staircase with her head held high she made sure to look in front of her in case another little person decided to jump in front of her so she could fall over them. She slapped the person who had done such a thing, a tiny Gryffindor boy with nerdy glasses to big for his own face. He was quite the funny looking kid and she knew she would enjoy seeing him once more.

Now Josefina wouldn't normally be rude right off the bat when she met a new person. But the fact that she had fallen over him, while in a skirt no doubt flashing her panties to all there passing by was humiliating. She couldn't stand the boy the second she had seen him. In fact, Josefina was sure that she'd hate him even if they had met on different circumstances. She was forever being told by her mother that she should try to have a better personality, one more like her younger sister's, by their mother. But Josefina didn't want to be like her younger sister, who acted like a puppy dog and followed her around and did things for her. Thinking about her sister reminded her on needed to go speak with her and tell her she needed to go down the lake with her once it got warmer and count for her as Josefina swam under water. The young girl was actually pretty good at staying under the water for long amounts of time. She had once thought about trying out deep water diving, but swimming down to high pressures and for the long amount of time the divers spent swimming didn't appel to her. Instead she took her talent and used it to swim with the fished in the reefs near their home island. She got to see a lot of beautiful things in the water and she missed it dearly. All of her thoughts of home came to her as she stood looking out a window and was staring at the lake. The water wasn't as crystal blue as the ocean, it wasn't nearly as big, but she figured it would do fine for a place to swim while at the school.

The newly appointed Gryffindor was definitely not happy with where he was at, but it was better than having another Matthias brother in Slytherin. That would have been confusing. Truth be told, he did not care. He was walking down the corridors, going from the top and heading down to the bottom because he was just aimlessly walking around. He smirked when he saw another first year, and Nikandros decided to 'shove' the kid and the kid went tumbling to the ground. He smirked even more to see that the kid was upset. Like he gave a rat's ass. Nika was one of those types of Gryffindors that was adventurous, but he was also very mean as well, bullying people. He always thought that he should get them before they got him. People were always out to stab one and another while they were not looking, so he decided to do the same, only worse. So that they could not get him back. Nika cracked his knuckles as he walked through the corridors, looking for some new meat. He didn't want to deal with many people, but he just wanted to get something, and he didn't know what it was either. He would have tried out for Quidditch, but let's face it, he couldn't stay on a broom so very long with that hot Prefect leading the try outs. Nika was shallow, and he didn't really care about blood statuses at all. However if someone was sensitive about it, he would insult them until a fly would not land on them. It did not matter what blood status that they would be either. He would insult a pureblood, he just did not care that much. Nika arounded the corner, before he saw some girl. However he laughed with what he saw next.

The girl actually slapped the living hell out of some kid! Nika was laughing so hard, he almost fell to the ground. Whatever the kid did, it was awesome to get that sort of reaction. He decided that she might be worth either being friends with or something, or bullying her and showing her the ropes. He didn;t know the full story, but he decided to make his presence known by saying, "Rather weak to be slapping. You need to start punching to show domination. Some guys might like being slapped, and you would have made their day." Nika hated that what came out was not really easy to understand because he was from Russia, and English was definitely not his strongest point. But he figured that if she was smart, she would be able to figure out what he had just said. He folded his arms across his chest as he wore the Gryffindor uniform. His amber eyes shone as he stared at the girl, before debating on what he could do to her. He didn't like people, because they were always so ruthless. Now it was his turn. He would get them, before he was jumped. That was just the way the world worked in the eyes of the first year Gryffindor.

The frown on the little Slytherin's face deepen as she heard a voice talking to her. It wasn't a pleasent voice and she was sure he was insulting her in some way. She actually had to think about what he was saying which was strange to her. She had grown up knowing both English and Filipino the two language of the Philippines. But he had this strange accent while he talked. It hadn't actually took her that long to figure out what he was trying to say to her. Scoffing she turned and faced the person the voice was coming from. Josefina had been enjoying her quiet moment staring out the window, though it made her miss home then she wanted to. Looking over the boy she noticed Gryffindor badge on his chest. Her dark eyes stared back at the boy.

The girl didn't know what to think of the boy, he was trying to be a bully like herself. Yet he came from the house of Gryffindor. Which she had been told by older students was full a weak little people who tried to be the best but were worse than Hufflepuff. "I don't think he quite enjoyed," she said with a smirk on her face crossing her arms like the boy had his. Thinking back to the situation she had been in on the floor above actually made her proud of herself. A bruise began to form on the kids face not long after she slapped him. And the little Gryffindor boy had begun to cry. "Are you here to stick up for your Housemate?" She questioned the boy who was slightly taller than herself. She only came up to just under five feet. The Gryffindor she had hit wasn't that different in height to her but he did have a small frame that seemed fragile. He was the perfect person for a bully, he took to the situation just like any bully would want him too.

Nikandros made sure that he was speaking clearly, and she could understand what he had said. Nika knew his accent was hard, but he was Russian, so what could one do? He was not about to take his heritage away anyway. He adored speaking Russian, and he hated English. It was hard sometimes for him to understand that well. Nika raised an eyebrow, and he looked over at the boy that she had managed to smack and scare away. He snorted and he shook his head. How cowardly. It was damn near pathetic really. Nika honestly didn't know what he was doing in a house like this, but it was better than being homeschooled or going to Salem with Severin. Nika shrugged and he at least got a good look at the boy. He didn't have one before, but now he did, and he could see that the boy did not like it. Nika himself wouldn't mind being smacked by a girl. That would be hot. "I can tell, now. Shameful," remarked Nika with a shrug of his skinny shoulders, before his smirk faded into a look that was pretty vague, but cold.

When she questioned him on if he was going to stick up for his housemate, he shook his head. "No," answered Nika firmly before he decided to shove the boy onto the ground, and he laughed. "Really pathetic, aren't they? Little crybabies wishing for their dead mothers. Even those in my house. They are everywhere, the perfect targets for attacking, before they attack you." That was what Nika believed, that people would get others, before they would help out. He folded his arms once more, before he looked down at the girl and he smirked somewhat. They had common interests, when it came down to others. "Now are you going to step up the game a bit? Really make him cry, make him regret living. That's the best part." Nika wondered if she had what it took to make someone believe that. All of his brothers did, in some way. They were destined to be nothing more but asses. Nika understood his destiny, but he would not try to overthrow his brother, Sethos, whom took it to a whole new level. Nika would love to be able to be like him, feared and respected, but he wanted to have allies too. Sethos has none of them, but he wanted to have some friends, a love, all of that stuff in the future. Sethos didn't have that.

Josefina smirk on her face, jumped up slightly and planted herself on the window cill. It was clear to her that this boy and herself had a few common interest. That being they did not like others. She wondered if he liked swimming as well. But she knew now wasn't the time to asking a silly question like that. Right now they were discusing the poor Gryffindor boy who had tripped her. Josefina was sure she'd always dislike the little boy and anyone who actually liked him. He was weak and a cry baby. He had no place in Gryffindor or even in Hufflepuff in her opinion. He shouldn't even have bother coming to the school if all he was giong to do was trip someone and then cry about it. Some blonde girl had chased after the boy and she knew her from the classes she shared with Gryffindor. Josefina already hated the girl and boy both.

Josefina raised her eyebrows as the boy confirmed her thoughts in him being a bully like herself. "His mother is dead?" She questioned not sounding sorry about it at all. He was in the same house as the boy it was clear he'd know more maybe even the name of the boy she had just scared into crying. The Slytherin girl knew her younger sister Bituin would hate her for this, for being mean over and over to this little boy. But it wasn't Josefina's job to keep her sister up in everything she was doing. "I think I can. He is to easy of a target to be honest," she said with a laugh.

When the girl planted herself on the window seal, he raised an eyebrow over his amber eyes. He wondered just how much in common he and this girl had. Nika was a bully, for one, and this girl seemingly was one as well. That was excellent. He just might be the only Gryffindor of his kind, and he adored it. Nika felt that this was better off than doing much else actually. He needed something to occupy his time. Nika looked back at the boy, and he shrugged, "If she isn't, she must want to be after giving birth to someone so pathetic, you know?" Nika shrugged and he approached the Slytherin girl before he leaned up against the wall, almost next to her but giving some distance. Nika could be rather harsh, and he knew it too. He wished that his brothers were somewhat the same, but then again his brothers could be rather weird too. Nika watched as the boy was somewhat boring. He wanted someone to be more of a challenge. He loved it when people were. "I agree. Need someone bigger. If only there was a prefect, now that would be somewhat funny. I heard that there is a boy around here that faints every time he sees Professor Styx." Well, that was a rumor, but he didn't know if it was or not. It still sounded like fun to him.

He shrugged before he decided that introductions would be suitable. He looked over at her before he said, "The name is Nikandros, by the way. Nikandros Matthias. And who might you be?" Nikandros figured that she would definitely not be a mudblood. She didn't seem that weak at all. That was not possible, but any other blood was just fine with this Gryffindor.

Of course Josefina would rather not be talking to anyone from the Gryffindor house at the moment. The first was annoying enough she did not want to deal with any more like him. However this boy seemed to be much different, more Slytherin, which made her wonder if the Sorting Hat made a mistake with the boy in front of her. He moved closer and leaned against the wall. Which she didn't mind, she was in a good position to hit him or kick him if he tried to do anything. She didn't laugh at his joke it was true but she figured the boys mother was still alive and well then which meant in a few years they might except to see another like the boy at the school. Which would not be very pleasant. She did laugh at the fact someone fainted when they saw her Head of House. "Now there is someone who doesn't need a bully. I bet everyone laughs at him already," she said pulling up one of her legs and putting her head on her knee.

The Slytherin figured she would continue to bully the Gryffindor boy and wondered if she took care of bullying him outside of the house if this Gryffindor would bully him in the house. "Josefina San Buenaventura," she answered with a fake Spanish accent. She knew her name was very Spanish being that her father was Spanish and he choose her name it was fitting.

Nikandros looked over at the Slytherin girl, and thought that she might look familiar. Did he see her around? He could not really remember if he had or not, but regardless, he thought that he had once seen her sporting the color blue. Perhaps he was wrong, or she had a twin. It was one or another, and he believed that he was always right anyhow. Nikandros really believed that he was always right, and there was nothing that was going to change that. Nikandros heard her laugh at his joke about the guy that faints every time he saw Professor Styx. Nikandros did not want to get on the bad side of that man, but he sure as hell did not faint every time he was seen. She said that he doesn't need a bully, and that everyone laughs at him already. Which might be true, but having someone faint was always a hilarious turn of events. It could make him laugh when he was feeling bad or something like that. That was all that he was thinking about anyway. "Still, could be fun to make him faint by the stairs, for a bad day to turn it into a good one."

Just imagining some guy falling down the stairs because he was scared, it would be hilarious and it made him smirk just thinking about it. When the girl said that her name, Nikandros gave her one weird look. Her first name seemed normal, but it was her last name that was a handful. Her accent sounded Spanish, so he naturally thought that she was, not knowing that her accent was being faked. "Calling you by your last name is ridiculous. So Josefina it is. Want to find someone new to pick on? I'm getting bored." It was true, he was getting very bored with the way he was hanging out by the wall, next to his newly found friend perhaps.
