The first flying lesson had been quite entertaining. It was cruel to admit but it was rather fun to see the number of students who struggled with calling their broom into their hand. Then there was one girl who out right refused to even try. That girl had peaked his interest. He couldn't imagine anyone, no matter their upbringing, who wouldn't want to learn to fly? Surely flying was one of, if not the best part about coming to Hogwarts. The girl had been sent to Professor Cliffeton's office for detention but Liam had found himself desperately curious to find out why the girl had been so adamant about not flying.
Liam made his way in from the grounds and walked up into the second floor where the flying Professor's office. The Hufflepuff placed himself outside the mans office and he laid in wait for the girl to finish her detention. No doubt she would find it strange to find him waiting there, but he needed to know why she didn't want to fly. He knew that if he went back to the common room it would bug him for the rest of the night so this was the only option for him.
