Sebastian was bored of being in his grandmother's house. She was busy in her basement working on a potion, and he had nothing to do. So, he put on his jacket and left to walk around the town. This was his second week in France, and part of that first week had been spent in New Zealand, so he still didn't know much about the town. Sebastian had enjoyed seeing the wizarding community in New Zealand and was surprised to find that they were actually pretty common around the world. He hadn't lived in one back in Massachusetts. His grandmother didn't live in an official wizarding community, but most of the people in this part of town were wizards.

With his hands in his pocket, Sebastian began to walk down the street until he made his way to a lake. He picked up a rock and began attempting to skip it across the water.

Hadan didn't much travel around France that much, without a guide of course. He was originally from London, and had attended Hogwarts Scotland for a few years. Last year he had moved here, so it being his second year he was not so familair with the place. Wondering about the alley of the little town he was staying at the moment, he would end up near a lake. Course about this time it was mildly cold, not as much but it was getting there.

Zipping his jacket back up, he found himself huming a soft tone, his mother had taught him growing up. Being the only child, he cherish his mother dearly and his father, who was bout probably at work right now.

As Sebastian skipped a rock across the water, he heard something behind him. It sounded like someone humming. He turned around to see a guy around his age. Sebastian held up a hand in greeting and struggled to think of the French word for hello. Finally, it came to him. "Bonjour" he said, hoping that the guy knew at least a little bit of English. Sebastian barely knew any French, though his grandmother was trying to help him learn.

Hadan look up to see a boy about his age, looking down at his hands he would takes his out as well. Shaking the boy hand briefly he would let go saying "Bonjour là ? Est-ce que je vous connais ?" was all he could really say. Letting out a chuckle by the looks of it they both hardly knew the french words. "Meant to say Hello, do I know you?" he says knowing well he may have seen him a few times in school. Or perhaps not.

A look of panic crossed Sebastian's face as he realized that the boy thought he knew French. A second later, the boy switched to English, and Sebastian let out a sigh of relief. He laughed, "Man...I was about to go look for a translator. I just moved here, so we don't know each other. I'm Sebastian." He wondered where the boy thought he knew him from and figured that it was probably school. "You go to Beauxbatons?" he asked.

Hadan laughs seeing Sebastian reaction. "No its cool I'm not from here as well. Names Hadan and yes thats the school that I attend" he would say picking up a odd shaped rock. With flick of his right hand he would skid the rock along the surface of the lake teal water. "Was a bit bored and just wander around. So where you from?" he asked the boy.

Sebastian nodded, figuring that most of the teenagers in the area probably went to Beauxbatons. "Cool...I'll be going there too." He picked up a smooth rock and flicked it into the water, watching it skip three times before answering.

"I'm from Massachusetts...used to go to Salem Institute" he said wondering whether the boy thought he had an accent or not. To him, he spoke normally, but other people often said he had a slight accent when he spoke.

"Salem? I didn't know it was co-ed, we learnt about that school here" he watched as Sebastian flicked the rock into the waters, as it skid upon the surface as well. Well actually not as much, but because of Salem background he had believed only witches to go there. But it lead him wondering more, "How's Salem anyways? And why such a drastic move?" he ask Sebastian. There had to be a brief story behind it, Hadan was the same as most family, new jobs so new move.

Sebastian nodded and said with a sly smile, "Yea, it is mostly females there. It's a pretty cool place, for a school anyways." Sebastian placed his hands in his pocket, not because he was cold but because it was a habit of his.

When Hadan asked what made him move, Sebastian shrugged. "The short story?" he asked with his eyebrow raised, "My grandmother asked me to live with her here and since I didn't have a better offer, I took her up on it. So, I'm here to go to school and learn about my wizard family." The story was way more complex than that, but Sebastian had no desire to share the details of his family history with some guy he'd only met. "So, how's Beauxbatons?" he asked curiously. From what he'd heard, the people were nice though some tended to be arrogant. So far, the people he'd met didn't seem to be that way.

"Whelp I could only say that its nice, sorry I went to Hogwarts Scotland and this will be like my second year" he chuckle. Hadan still had things getting use to, everything was written in French which he was terrible at. His father on the other hand was multi-language, he had taught Hadan a few words which was why he knew how to summon a few sentences correctly. But other than that, he was dead hopeless on the language.

Sebastian shrugged. "Eh, it's cool. So, should I be practicing my French for when school starts?" His grandmother was giving him lessons everyday, but it wouldn't hurt to know how prepared he should be.

"I'll bet" Sebastian said with a chuckle. If Jaidyn was any indication of what the girls at Beauxbatons looked like, he thought he might enjoy the school a lot.

"So, what year are you going into? I'll be a 5th year" Sebastian continued, wondering if he would have any classes with Hadan.

"Cool" Sebastian replied upon hearing that Hadan would be in some of his classes. He shrugged when Hadan mentioned that he hoped the classes wouldn't be as bad. He didn't know anything about the classes, but silently agreed. "I just hope the potions professor is good...it's my favorite subject" he added.

"Really you fancy potion" he chuckle looking up at Sebastian. "I'm more into transfiguration, and charms. Similar subjects but a lot different. I suppose you had familiar classes were you came from? All the classes aren't so bad. But the least I can't stand and so those my best friend, is Astronomy. And yet we both do well in that class" he rolled his eyes.

Sebastian nodded, " Yea, I like charms too. We had it in my old school. I hope I don't have to take History of Magic here, it was my worse subject." Sebastian shrugged, "I don't know if I'll be taking Astronomy after this year. I don't mind it all that much, but I'd take double potions or charms any day over that."

"Its like many of these classes aren't really all that necessary" Hadan stated as he look towards the horizon of the lake. It was still daylight, but soon the sun will be setting and he was strangly in the mood for a butter beer or a soda pop. "But I guess if you want to get a job in ministry its sort of obligated to take them" he would add. He wasn't sure if he go for a job in the ministry, he really was thinking of opening up a shop possibly here or London. The details were still blurry to him.

"I guess so" Sebastian said with a shrug. He didn't mind the classes so much though he did have trouble seeing the importance in some of them. He wondered if Hadan had any idea what he wanted to do when he left school because he certainly didn't. "I guess I haven't thought about it much." he shrugged again. "Say, what is there to do around here for fun?" he asked since he was new to the area.

"Well if your into sports they have a field around here to play muggel sports" he say pointing towards the East area. "I'm more into American football, and I love baseball, but lots around here more into cricket" which was sort of like baseball, but way different. "Back in the towns their a club for teens, than you have your wizaring communities, shops and all pass the city" he say to Sebastian. "I'm more into watching live bands" he say, which he was along with one of his close friend Jacob, Maddiie younger brother.

Sebastian listened to Hadan as he described the things to do. The field sounded promising and he planned to go there the next day with his soccer ball. "I'm into soccer though I play a little baseball too." He knew what cricket was, but having grown up in the states, it wasn't the sort of thing that the people there played. He nodded as Hadan spoke about the shops, having gone to some of them with Grams the other day.

"Are they wizard bands?" he asked curiously because he'd never seen one before. Back at Salem, they would sometimes put the radio in the common room on, which only played wizarding networks, so he was familiar with some of the bands. It wouldn't matter to Bas though because he loved music. "Do you play?" he asked, wondering if Hadan played any instruments.

"Course, course all sorts of bands" Hadan said with his British accent. "They have this local band called the trolls" he chuckles wondering if Sebastian knew what they were. "Not really trolls, just a bunch of wizards dressed in punk and trash clothing their really good" he says nodding as his hands slip into his pocket. The last time he saw a live band was about last year, think he saw the Fray, muggel band, but he really enjoyed their sounds. "I play somewhat of the drums, getting better at. What about you?" he asked Sebastian.

"Never heard of them, but that sounds pretty awesome" he said eagerly. He'd never been to a concert before and could only imagine how great it must be. "Yea, I've played the guitar for a couple of years" he said with a shrug.

"We should play sometimes that be fun" Hadan as he begins to walk towards a shop. "Do you fancy a slushy there this shop down the street every flavour, but be warn its a head rush" Hadan says, as he edge closer towards the town. The lake was peaceful but he wanted something else to do but sit around and talk. He wonder if Sebastian was into anything extreme, not that he was but it always sweet to try something new.
