It was another day full of nothing for Vince and he had only woken up thirty minutes ago, well into the afternoon. After taking a quick shower the nineteen year old decided to go on a stroll around Brightstone, where he always met the best kind of people. Perhaps today he'd go in search of an apartment soon because although a room at the Leaky was nice for the first few nights, it wasn't getting old fast and it definitely wasn't a home for him. He didn't know what caused him to settle in New Zealand, but he liked the atmosphere. Vince stopped at an outdoor bulletin board as he looked at the local ads posted there, his blue eyes scanning in search of something that would pertain to him - perhaps a bassist was needed, then he could get some more money to pay his room at the Leaky with gigs, an apartment for rent, hell he'd settle for a roommate even.

Daniel strutted down the street in Brightstone with an odd air of confidence. He couldn't say where this good feeling came from, but he was going to enjoy it while it was there. For the most part things had been rather crappy with him, and it was nice to feel so good for a chance.

Having just moved to New Zealand the Durmstrang graduate had been trying to roam around a bit to get himself used to the area. It was so weird to be here on his own, but he saw no other choice. Shane had been his best friend and they hadn't spoken at all since that fateful fight. His life since then had been pretty sullen. He had tried to get on and have some fun, but nothing felt right anymore. He needed Sophia back. That was why he found himself here in New Zealand, to win back the only girl he'd ever fallen for.

As he walked past an outdoor bulletin board Daniel decided to stop and take a look. Boy was he glad he did, because when the brunette turned to face the board he saw none other than his school friend Vince Channing.

"Vince? Is that you?" Daniel was wearing a surprised smile as he looked at one of the last people he ever expected to see in New Zealand.

Vince was pulling a few strips of paper containing numbers for possible jobs or roommates when he heard his named being said. At first it startled him, since he didn't know a soul in New Zealand and he seriously doubted anyone he had partied with last night would've remembered his name. But as the person continued to speak, asking for clarification if it was him, he knew he recognized the voice.

Turning to see his old friend Daniel, Vince's eyes grew wide with surprise. "Daniel?" he questioned with just as much as disbelief that his friend had in his voice moments ago. "What're you doing here?!" he asked, a grin forming on his face. He never thought he'd run into his friend from Durmstrang here in New Zealand. His trip here had been completely arbitrary, literally choosing a country out of a hat. Was New Zealand more popular than he thought? Still, he wasn't complaining about having an actual friend around now.
