The boy was bored, god, he was so bored. He didn't know why people said that Hogwarts was the best. He was two weeks in and he was just so bored. He had no friends, which he realised was probably the real issue. He was yet to make one school friend. Which was odd because generally he was a friendly person. Now not so much. Sure he could pretend to be friendly like most people could, but it was cutting into his patience. He wants something to happen. Anything to happen. Just something that was a sign he wasn't going to have to move schools out of sheer boredom. Though moving schools would never happen. His mother would have none of it. He could hear her telling his that if he gave up on Hogwarts then he could find a new place to live because she hadn't raised him to quit. Which would be very like what his father would say to him. Though his father would be a lot disappointed in him abandoning his work and less about the real reasons why he had dropped out. But what he needed was something fun to do. Something to get him moving, something to awake people to the fun that could be had in the middle of a magical school. After all it was a magical school, it was the weekend, it was perfect. He couldn't understand those that would just chose to just spend time reading they had their entire lives for that. They were only in school for seven years. It was now or never. It really was. It explained for the most part why Wes was wondering the school, clearly looking for something. He just hadn't found it yet. He was determined and he knew in the end he would find what he was looking for. Wes was dressed casually. He was ignoring the horrible weather outside and knew he would eventually come across what ever it was he was searching for. Though he currently had no idea what it was he was searching for. He really didn't he'd hoped the walk he was taking would help.

Finally after an hour of walking around the school, the boy had found himself back on the fourth floor. He was staring at the library when he remembered that there was a student lounge nearby. He smiled to himself before heading toward it. He didn't know if it would be the right place for him but it was worth a try in his eyes. He knew that no matter what it would be worth it. He was trying to find something that would make his life feel a little less boring. The student lounge itself was pretty empty when he arrived. Wes looked at his watch and realised that it was technically dinner so everyone would be ther. Wes was not a morning guy. The only time he got up early was for classes, and even then it was the last possible moment generally. Wes had gotten up late: so everything would happen slightly later in the day for him. He looked around and smiled. Well, he didn't know what he was doing just yet but already he felt a little less bored. He knew that the best way to cure the boredom was to do it himself. So he was standing in the centre of the room trying to figure out how to do something to make things interesting. He noticed a radio, and tapped it on with his wand. He fiddled with it till a Chanel with popular music came on. It was a New Zealand channel that Wes had begun listening to. He also recognised the song they were playing, though it had only been introduced. It was the new Elijah Tine song, an artist that Wes actually liked. So he blasted it, and then burst out into song along with it. He started dancing, using all the available tables and chairs as props. Now all he needed were more people. People to join in or just watch. People up for a good time by listening to music and just having fun with it. A party, or a sort of party was exactly what was needed. That would take away all of the boredom he had been feeling.

Rose was enjoying Hogwarts. She didn't really like the homework but she loved the classes. She loved learning all about magic. She had been robbed of it as a child as her dad had never told her anything about it and she was trying to make up for it.She practiced her spells and did all her homework though she knew as time went on she would slack off a bit.She didn't like studying. That would be her greatest test in Hogwarts actually getting over her butt and studying. But Rose was going to worry about that when the time was closer. If she concentrated now the exams shouldn't be too hard anyways.Well that's what she hoped anyways.Rose had a good memory though once something went in it usually stayed.A useful gift as it meant she didn't have to study as much as other people which made her even more lazy when it came to studying but homework and class she always paid attention to.She actually enjoyed class well the practical ones and there wasn't much homework these days so Rose was perfectly content with school. The fact that she was learning magic made her love the school.Ever since she had read her papa's books she had been looking forward to learning it.

It was now the weekend and Rose was glad because she was still getting used to the routine of the new school day and a break was always nice. She could concentrate on her piano playing and art and maybe have a little fun.The school week was usually too busy for any type of fun.Rose had been itching to do something different or at least something not school related. Her piano playing and art was a special time for her she always found time for them but exploring and having fun hadn't been on the top of her list for a while due to class work. Now she could relax and maybe make some new friends or something. She was walking around the castle not really sure what she could do.It was when she was walking along the fourth corridor that she heard some music.Following the music Rose found herself outside the student lounge. It was much louder now.She recognized the singer. It was Elijah Tine. She had stumbled across it recently online.Only a couple of days before coming into Hogwarts. It was a good song and she found herself humming it under her breath she felt her hand tap against her side.As she listened she also heard someone else singing, someone inside the room.Humming the song under her breath she opened the door and saw someone dancing around the place.Roe was momentarily shocked but she couldn't help a smile on her face.He looked like he was enjoying himself. And Rose felt the urge to join him but she would hold herself back, for a few minutes anyways. "Having fun?"She asked partly shouting because of the loud music but grinning all the same

Wes Amherst was not much of a singer, sure he could hold a note, but he didn't often do that. It was just something he did when he got bored and there was a song he knew on the radio. Most of the time he reversed himself for humming and just going along with whomever else was singing. He got lost in the music, when he really belted it out. This wasn't one of those times. In his mind he knew that anyone could walk in, and he hardly wanted to be branded, that Slytherin who danced and sang like he was going crazy. he wasn't really going crazy. For the most part. Really he was just trying to understand how long it would take before things actually got intersting. He knew that he had to make it interesting. Since really that was how it worked. Things were only as fun as you made them to be, so he would have to therefore work towards getting this place to be a lot more fun than it already was. He knew that he would always have to work harder than most, since he much preferred fun to work. Even though his parents both stressed the importance of the latter. Though his mother liked to tell him to strike the right kind of balance and he would be fine. It was pretty easy for him to get lost in either one or the other. At Hogwarts he was sort of hoping to get lost in fun, but he wasn't the easy guy to be friends with, and he was picky. Which was why he hoped that this would cause people to come towards the student lounge so that they, like him would be able to have some fun. He was really getting into it. It was a pretty upbeat song, with good guitar. It was a song that he really liked. Though he had always told himself he wouldn't like the artist, since the early stuff had been more mellow. This was much more upbeat, and he had to admit it. He like Elijah Tine's stuff. Smiling as the guitar broke out into the main bridge. He was taking that moment to not pretend he played guitar and instead to look around the room. He then noticed that someone else was in the room. He hadn't seen the person before. He really hadn't. Though the girl was clearly in his year.

Wes smiled slightly at her, knowing that this would be the perfect time to get her to go along with him. He got down from the table he was standing on and smiled more at her. Just then she spoke. He nodded, feeling pretty good. This was a high of good proportions. He was a lot easier to get along with when he was very happy. Which wasn't too often. And not much since coming to New Zealand. he was the kind of guy who loved his roots and who much preferred them to where he'd come to. "So much!" He said, just barely audiable over the music. He walked slightly over to her, dancing a long with the music playing in the background, this girl didn't look too bad. She looked really nice. She was in his year. He recognised her slightly. But, he wasn't really going to be himself around her just yet. Since his normal self was the kind of guy most people didn't really like. He smiled at her, and the singing cut back in, so he had to start singing again. However, this time, with the girl in the room, he pretend that he was singing to her. Dancing around, large arm jesters, taking her hand pretending to get her to twirl. Wes was very much into the song. He was having a bit of fun, that didn't circle around doing work, or flying. It was just some care free fun. Because really they were all young, they had all the time in the world. It was the start of term. A bit of fun, a bit of music was what he was sure people needed. Most didn't see it that way, but it was true. He knew stress wasn't good for people. He really did, he saw it in his parents. If they were just a little more carefree and danced and sang a little more, they'd feel a lot better. Which was why he continued to dance around the girl. Hoping that the girl would dance with him, until the radio show hosts started speaking again. Which would be after the song that followed the one they were dancing to.

Rose was a musical child. She could play any instrument given to her.She just was very talented when it came to music. She didn't do much of it though. She preferred just playing the piano, she sang periodically. She liked to listen to music. She liked most genres, classical and pop were her favorite. She listened to the latest songs and she had her favorite singers.Like most young teenagers but Rose's real love was classical music. She loved symphonies, concertos, sonatas, any sort of classical music. She just loved trying to make out what the composer was trying to convey through his/her music. She loved playing classical music.Mozart was her favorite composer. She loved playing his piano concertos.A sense of calm always came over when ever she played the piano especially classical. She did play pieces from movies also, popular ones that she enjoyed. She liked books which had the music and lyrics. With them she could sing and pay at the same time. She never did it in front of anyone though. She sometimes liked to think her mama was singing a long with her.It was more how she entertained herself or made herself feel better when she was down.It was for no one else's hears but hers. She had played the guitar a few times,it was an easy instrument to play but she didn't have much interest in it not that she didn't play a few songs or even write one or two of her own using the chords.

Rose was really liking the song and she hummed along to the music. There was no singing at this point but it didn't stop Rose who was getting caught up in the beat. The boy, whom she recognized from classes as such. She knew he was in her year, what he was doing looked really fun and Rose was itching to dance a long with him no matter how much of an idiot she would look like.Rose couldn't help but laugh at him in delight. He was quite amusing and when the singing came back up Rose sang out loudly this time.He was pretending to sing to her and he was dancing around her.Rose watched him singing smiling as she did so, her whole body now moving to the beat of the song. The boy was a fairly good singer, thankfully he was a good one because her hear was sensitive to music. She could hear how sharp or flat any thing was.It was not nice hearing someone play or sing out of tune. Finally unable to hold herself back Rose began dancing with the boy who's name she had yet to find out.

Wes wasn't really that musical. He loved music in the sense that he loved to preform in his own backyard. Or just with his friends. His friends were the ones who generally got him to start dancing, and singing. According to them he was the only one who could hold a note, despite the fact that the young boy always disagreed. Which wasn't exactly fortunate, since that it was always Wes that had to lead. Which generally frustrated the young boy because he hated having to be the one that lead. It seemed pointless to him. But here and now with the music blasting he was just forgetting all about that. Part of being carefree the boy always realised that it meant doing things that were just pure fun. Silly, fun. While he was now technically a high school student with real classes and real things to do he was happy to have this fun time. He was happy that he hadn't forgotten how to have fun, which was what he had feared would happened. Sure he would still be free of stress, and of all the other things that tied most people down, that then meant they were not good at having fun. He hadn't seen much fun things happening around the school. It had all been pretty dull in his eyes. Sure, he knew that it was still early days, but early days or not, he had been bored, this was so much better. Dancing in an almost empty room. The boy was pretty much as carefree as they came. Though he sensed that no matter how much he tried this girl may take a little more persuading, though he could somewhat sense that she thought it was funny. Or that his dancing was proving funny. In any case the boy was happy to at least be providing some fun. A break from all the non fun that people had been having as of late. He smiled at her. This may just turn out to be an excellent day.He didn't know how to explain it. It sounded to him like this was what not only he needed. Everyone needs a bit of fun. Thankfully he was there to be the fun that people actually needed.

Wes' smile grew as the girl joined in with him. He was still singing his heart out. Joining in with all the lyrics, doing the backing whenever he could, just getting himself lost in the music that encircled them. The fact that the girl started to dance with him, made him feel so much better. It made him feel a lot less silly that was for sure. If a professor walked in to find out what was going on, he could easily try to pin it on her. After all would she really care? He didn't care if he got into trouble, but it would be just as easy for him to pin it on her. He smiled and then took her hand, twirling her to the beat of the music while also singing. He let go of her hand, well aware that the end of the song was approaching. He ran and jumped on to the nearest table. Turning and pretending to completely part of the performance. Letting the last note sound and a dramatic pose from him. He was breathing pretty heavily as the song quietened down. He was feeling pretty crazy. He was feeling sort of on top of the world. He smiled at her, giving a very small laugh that filled the room. He was about to say something when the next song started up. Again, another sort of dance song. One he didn't know as well, but knew well enough to be able to sing it. He jumped on the table several times and then jumped down walking towards her as the first verse began. He was singing to her again. Dancing to the music, swaying, jumping, making wild gestures. Everything. Just being the guy who was having a party by himself. Now, at least it wasn't a party by himself, but with at least one other person who wasn't completely put off by it. A girl he didn't even know the name of yet. But, even if she turned out to not be the kind of person he would normally bother to be friends with, after something like this, it was pretty hard to not be friends.

Rose wasn't shy. Some people may mistake her for being shy when she refuses to play the piano. They think she is too scared or too modest to play for people but she just doesn't like playing the piano for other people. She doesn't mind singing or acting a bit crazy in front of people.Really she is confident, she will do anything in front of people. The fact that it may make her look crazy or embarrass her does not bother her.She has always been confident in herself. She wasn't self-conscience even about the not so good things in her.So what if someone thinks you are annoying, weird or crazy. That's their problem not your's.You can't stop being who you are.Why should you pretend to be someone else when you are a perfectly good individual yourself. No one should take any notice of what other people think of you.But if people close to you are complaining then something is wrong.Rose doesn't care what anyone says about her,if it's nice she takes it as a compliment but if it's mean or rude she will take no notice of it because usually the bad ones are the wrong ones. That is Rose's view on the whole matter and no one could tell her different. That is why she is so confident because criticism doesn't bring her down, she will continue being who she is or doing what she loves to do no matter what anyone says.If people thought her drawing was cr@p or useless she would still do it because she loves to do it.

It was be funny if another student or professor came in and saw the two of them singing and dancing around the place.Rose wasn't sure what the reaction of a professor would be.In some ways they weren't doing anything wrong.Where does it say students can't sing or dance? But then again they were kinda loud and the boy was dancing on top of the table and they were acting a bit crazy and wild. She doubted they would get in much trouble,if she was a professor she wouldn't give off to them she would just smile and leave. Some people take the world so seriously and don't live life to the full.Where's the fun in that?Life is much to short to be so serious and sour the whole time.Sure school is important but not all the time.Once Rose leaves school she knows things will be different, she will have to grow up a bit but that won't stop her from living life to the full and while they were in school they should make use of their youth.Rose was laughing and she sung her heart out and danced to the beat. She was having great fun,the best she had had since coming to the school. Her cheeks were rosy from all the laughing, singing and dancing she was doing. She watched as he humped to the nearest table and ended with a dramatic pose. She smiled up at him.One thing was certain, this boy was as crazy as her and it was nice to know she wasn't the only one who liked to be a bit crazy at times. She laughed with him, their laughs echoing in the room. The place suddenly so quiet after all the noise. But that was short lived when the next song came on.This one,Rose knew off by heart and inside out. This time Rose sang even louder then last time, she was more confident and knew this song better. Her real singing voice was coming through and she really got into the dancing. She faced him and like he was singing to her she began singing to him so they were singing to each other almost.Rose got up on the table and started dancing her heart out singing the catchy chorus of the song. She then faced him and sang like she was on stage. She acted as if this small table was her own huge stage. She started imagining huge crowds surrounding her singing the song.It was an amazing feeling. It was a real carefree happiness something Rose hadn't felt for a long time.Even if these two didn't get along once they stopped singing Rose would definitely remember this day and credit him for making her have so much fun.

Wes always thought that a little bit of crazy in each person's life could go a long way. In the same sense that a little bit of fun and laughter too could do that too. He was sure that he wasn't happy with the current state of things, and this was his way of doing something about it. He knew that acting very crazy by dancing on tables was not the way most people did things. Most people would just do something normal like go flying, or just do something that made them happy. But there was a slight problem if Wes wanted to do that. The things that made him happy he couldn't do in New Zealand. And he most definitely couldn't do them in winter. For one, he loved surfing, there was a lake, so no waves. He liked the sun, it was winter, sun was minimum and it wasn't that warm. He liked skateboarding, but there really wasn't enough space to do that, and he loved just having fun the people he knew, and he knew no one yet. It was a problem that he was attempting to fix, but was having real issues trying to fix it. He knew that there were simpler ways of doing things. Simply just going for a long walk, or something of that sort, would clear his mind, and along the way he'd find interesting things to do. He smiled slightly at the girl, knowing that maybe he wasn't alone in the problems he was having. He also realised that maybe the girl was just looking for some kind of relief. He didn't really know how else to put it. That acting crazy was just what she appeared to need. In the same way that he had. He was less concerned about people walking in. He was a Slytherin, and he really didn't care. He didn't care about most things. People he knew, his parents, whether or not he did well in classes. Nothing that meant anything to most meant anything to him. It was a way in which he dealt with things. He had long since learned that caring about what people thought of him lead to stress and stress in his books was worse than getting a hand cut off. Slightly over dramatic, but he truly believed that, so he avoided almost all things that were in fact stress related. Which was a lot of things. This was the perfect way to blow off steam. To just let him be an eleven year old kid, in an empty room, with the music blasting. It probably helped that while he was not a fantastic dancer, he was good at pretending that he was truly awful in the sense that it was laughable.

The girl who was in the room with him, was really getting into this new song playing. She was singing just as much as he was, and he had to admit she sounded truly great. In the way that he was pretty happy with how she was singing. It was nice, to finally hear someone who could hold a note. He always thought that while he was good, he was in no way perfect. It never bothered him, but he thought compared to this girl he sounded truly awful. But, it didn't stop him. It didn't deter him. He didn't stop singing. He just kept going, he kept dancing and just kept being himself. He knew that no matter what happened next, no matter how annoying or frustrating this girl turned out to be, he couldn't not hang out with her. She was the first person he'd met who was truly fun. Who made it easy for him to smile. In the same way that his friends from school did. They knew what Wes was like, how little he seemed interested in them, and yet they were still friends. He was hoping she wouldn't mind much either. He had indifference to almost all people. It didn't matter who they were. Or how close they would claim they were to Wes. He jumped down from the table and twirled on the spot where he landed. He looked up to the girl and sang along. Pretending once again that he was singing to her. Pretending even that he was one of those crazy fans at concerts that sang along, screamed and acted very crazy. He was pretty surprised with how things had turned out. He always found that spontaneity lead to the greatest of moments. Wes smiled at her, as the song was clearly beginning to close. When it did end, Wes broke out into clapping and cheering for her. It was the break, the show hosts on the radio were speaking. He walked over to it, still laughing, clapping and cheering. He turned the volume down, and looked back over at the girl. His face was pretty red. He was pretty tired. He didn't do that kind of thing often for a reason. "Well, that was quite something. You are an incredibly singer, and trust me when I saw that I don't give out compliments a lot." The somewhat bored tone in his voice showed that. He was out of breath and breathing pretty heavily but, he had a huge smile. "I'm Wes, It's nice to meet you." He smiled at her, holding out his hand to her. Thinking formalities wasn't really necessary at this point, but they would still be polite nonetheless.

Rose had always been carefree. She hated being serious and grown up and sensible. It was so much more boring but Rose knew some day she would have to grow up.It was inevitable but just because she was grown up didn’t mean she couldn’t have fun. There were plenty of things adults could do for fun that children couldn’t.She was going to travel the world,go to concerts, parties. She would be sky diving, scuba diving.Basically do some of the craziest, most fun maybe life threatening things out there and enjoy every step of the way.In all fairness when was she ever going to do it again? She didn’t want to be old and regret not doing anything when she was younger just because she was too scared to do it.She wasn’t going to live a normal life or maybe half a half satisfactory life she was going to have a satisfactory life that she would never regret and if she ever had kids she was never going to waste any time with them. She would make sure they lived the best lives, drill it into them that you should never hold back because you are scared or nervous and she would tell them to tell it to their own kids if they ever had any.It was a legacy she wanted to leave behind. Her childhood had been stolen from her the minute her mother died and her father went into depression.Having no mother and a father who can’t even look at you kinda steal away your supposed childhood. It’s one of the reasons Rose thought the way she did.Her Papa was a mess and had wasted the last eleven years of his life,Rose was never going to waste a moment.

It was a nice release,to finally enjoy herself .The last few months had been pretty bad at home.Even though she had been excited to be coming to Hogwarts her father had been at a pretty low stage so she was always worrying about him.At the beginning she had gone in to check up on him but it had always ended in disaster. He would go completely off the rails. He was lash out with uncontrollable rage but it had been a quick rage,in all most seconds it had been taken over by complete sadness and he would curl up into a ball and cry.Rose hadn’t gone in after that, the memory still haunted her though and had left her down for weeks, months. But this was like a release.Hogwarts had almost been good but this was just right.Rose felt a weight come off her shoulders as she was singing her heart out and dancing and laughing and smiling. She felt untainted happiness.A novelty for Rose. For that Rose would be forever grateful to the boy who probably didn’t realize how happy he was making her.It was great to find another person who was as crazy as she.But maybe there was something he was trying to escape from too.Rose knew though that even if they got on each other’s nerves completely she would still be friends. You couldn’t walk away from this and not be friends. It was just one of those situations.Rose watched as he jumped and twirled. She laughed as she sang when he acted as if he was a fan.Rose sang to him from the table like she was singing to her fans. When the song ended he began clapping and Rose took a mock bow before jumping off the table, laughing and clapping for him also. She was pretty breathless but feeling like a million dollars. “Merci Monsieur”She said smiling, from his tone of voice she guessed it was unusual and she was flattered that he thought she was such a good singer “You aren’t too bad yourself and I loved your dancing”She said her eyes bright, her cheeks flushed. “It’s nice to meet you too Wes.I’m Rose Bellard”She said shaking his hand and smiling widely “So where did all this come from?”She asked gesturing to the radio, she figured he would get where she was coming from.

Wes was never the type to actually think that he was improving anyone's day. He was a pretty much solitary person who worked towards himself more than others. Doing this had been for fun. For his own amusement more than anything else. The fact that someone had joined in made him just feel a little less alone. he liked this girl. Which was odd for him. Wes didn't like most people. And he tended to dislike people he'd never actually spoken to. This girl in front of him, he'd never spoken to her before. He'd sung to her, and that was slightly different. Plenty of people could've stood there and just done nothing. Just said and done nothing. He was pretty sure that people might've come in, turned off the music told Wes to act his age and then walked off. Those people he would've hated. People who'd just watch him and enjoy his performance he would tolerate, but this girl had wholeheartedly joined in. He couldn't take that back, and he was pretty happy to now have this other fun person in his life. He had spent the last few months, just so bored. Being with his grandmother in New Zealand hadn't been fun. The old woman was going crazy, and of course his parents had to be kind enough to send Wes to her. He was obviously only going to be at the school for everything but the winter break. So he was pretty much okay with his currently situation, but that matched with the school not being fun enough for him, had just left him bursting with unused energy he had then let go there and then. With this girl. He recognised her slightly. From the classes he had. Not all of them, so he realised from that, that she was most likely not a Slytherin. Though it didn't matter to him, the slytherin boy was not the kind of person bothered by houses. Mostly because he was barely bothered by anything. He was the kind of person who just generally didn't care. He was all about having fun. And this was that. Fun. He was happy to have clearly made her happy. She was smiling, she had clapped and cheered with him. This was an interesting greeting between the two of them. He was red in the face, and completely out of breath, but it had so been worth it. He loved it. He had done things like that fairly often before, but never had he ever been the one to start it. Today he had. He found that with the right song, he could easily get in the mood for a bit of dancing. For some laughter and some fun. As much as Wes was a pretty self centered guy, he hoped that more would join them. He knew when the next song started up that he wouldn't be able to hold back. He just really wanted more people to join in. So that they could have a very small fake party, with crazy singing and dancing.

"You're welcome" He said breathlessly as a response to her thanks. He didn't think it off that she was using french. His pretty basic level of french was enough to get him by with the simple words. He didn't speak it well, and he wrote it even worse, but when it came to listening and reading, he was a lot better at those kinds of things. He gave a false bow at she complimented him. He was the kind of guy who took compliments in his stride. He smiled at her, and unlike most other people he didn't get embarrassed. He knew he wasn't bad. He could hold a note. If he couldn't he wouldn't bother. The dancing was a lot more flexible, because who really cared how good of a dancer someone was if they were clearly messing around. he gladly shook her hand as she told him her name was Rose. He thought the name fitted almost. It wasn't an annoying name, or something obscure that was then also pretty hard to pronounce. He liked her name more than he really like his own. Wes was pretty boring in his eyes. It wasn't short for anything, and it was just Wes. A short simple name, he'd been named half after his father, since his father's name was Weston, and Wes was just Wes. Half the name. He laughed lightly at her words. Not in a mean sort of way, but almost in a I have no idea kind of way. He didn't have much in the way of explaining it. Just that he'd been bored, turned on the radio and had a bit of fun dancing and singing along. "Well, I'd like to say it was completely planned out Rose. But, it wasn't I was bored, and I saw the radio. Switch the channel, and I really liked the song. Got caught up in the music. My own mini party" He put both of his hands on his hips. His breathing was returning to normal. "We're young, party in in our young blood. Plus, I needed a bit of fun. What about you? A lot of people wouldn't have joined in." Wes was feeling less like himself. He still had a pretty bored tone of voice, but it held more interest than it would generally. Clearly having a bit of fun had served him well.

Rose tried to never make life boring. It was too short to waste, compared to the bigger picture eighty, ninety years was a very short span of time to live. There was so much to do in the world. Most people died not having done half of the things they wanted to do in life.Everyone gets caught up in work and they are constantly working, thinking only work work. They forget everything else, they forget how to relax and be stress free and have fun.Rose had promised herself as a little girl, never to turn out like that. She would just be wasting the life she had been given. She just wanted to have an adventurous life. She always wanted it to keep moving and never slow or get boring. She would try anything, she was planning on traveling the world when she left school. She would probably attempt to go professional with her art.Just for a short while. She wasn't sure if she would ever settle for the one job,she wasn't sure if she would settle at all but she would probably do everything she had always wanted to do the minute she left school and once she was finished all that she could take a break and look at her life. That wash her plan, whether life turned out that way Rose couldn't be sure.Things in life were constantly changing, you can never plan your life so far into the future at such a young age because something would change.Rose certainly hadn't seen this coming. This had been completely out of the blue and it had been well needed. If she was ever upset or anything she would definitely be coming back here and repeating that again though hopefully no one would be in the room and maybe it would be more fun with another person.

Rose was finally getting her breath back. Her breathing was almost back to normal and her cheeks were almost back to their normal color. The adrenaline was still flowing through her veins and her heart was still beating fast.Rose felt great though a lot better then what she had been feeling before she had entered the Student Lounge.Letting loose and having fun had had a good effect on her.Rose smiled when he mock bowed.Like him she took compliments well. She didn't know why since she didn't get many compliments but when you are confident in yourself its easier to take compliments because you agree with what they are saying.Rose isn't arrogant about it,she just knows what she is good at and what she is bad at.That doesn't mean it's not nice to hear someone compliment you.It makes you feel better makes you even smile because it's nice to be told by someone that your are good at something even if you know it yourself.Rose listened as he explained why he had randomly started dancing. She had to admit she liked his reasoning .It certainly had been his own mini party. He had been really into it when she had first come in but then she had got caught up in his dancing and singing and the music. "Well you looked like you were having fun and the song was catchy and well I couldn't help myself."She said shrugging her shoulders and smiling "That was the most fun I've had in months"She said, almost to herself.Regret laced her voice. Her home was not a happy place, she only went there to sleep mostly and to play the piano. She tried to do everything else outside. It was much warmer and friendlier.

She was admitting to him that this was the most fun she had had in months which didn't really surprise him, but he wondered briefly why. He knew his reasoning, new country, new people didn't always make it easy for him to be able to find fun things to do. That and classes meant that people were incredibly busy and this often lead to little fun being had. It wasn't the best thing. It wasn't something that he really wanted to spend much time looking at. He was young, he had things to do and people that would be good to meet. This basically meant he was not interested in a normal homebody, boring lifestyle. He was looking for so much more than that. He was looking for something that would be completely just fun. He liked fun a lot more than he like everything else that he did. Which was a lot. New Zealand was great but, it was nothing like his home, and that made him feel a little sad about it. He loved his home, either New York, or L.A., there was just something about the two of them that made him feel very good about it. He loved everything about having fun, and he loved being the one to start the fun. Of course at school there was the very small issue of there being professors and just the general atmosphere that people should be behaving. Wes was sure that he was one of the few that hated that more than anything else that he had to do while at Hogwarts. He could actually deal with most others, just the fact that people felt the need to be incredibly well behaved despite the incredible opportunities that lay in front of them at a school like hogwarts. Wes wondered what mysteries lay in a school like this. What wonders and magic. No one seemed curious enough to search for it.

"I'm glad I could." The boy said in response, choosing to ignore her tone of voice. He didn't really care why she hadn't had fun in the past few months. It wasn't his place and he didn't know her. If she later chose to tell him, he still wouldn't care. It was pointless bits of detail that would listen to, but then never remember. "I don't understand how people are just so wrapped up in school. I mean, look at this place." Wes said wildly throwing his arms around to indicate to the school around them. He really wondered if there was some form of club whose sole purpose was to have fun, and explore the castle. But, there didn't seem to be. And he felt half like he should actually just start it himself. "People are so dull in this school. I'm finally glad to have met someone who doesn't mind acting a little bit crazy now and then." A hint of frustration echoed in his voice as he had first started speaking, but it had faded to be replaced with his normal tone of non-caring and not bothering. "I'm going to be sure to look out for you more often Rose." He said, just as in the background the presenters stopped speaking and they went to another song. He went back over, and turned it up, not as loud as before, but still fairly loud. "I'm thinking, if we're loud enough, we attract the attention of others. Turn our duo into something else. If not, we can still have a lot of fun."

I'm sorry it's so terrible

The boy Wes didn't seem like the person she would usually befriend. His voice sounded bored most of the time,Rose was the complete opposite. She was always hyper and energetic. It was like there was a constant buzz going through her system. She had an infectious laugh that suited her personality completely. Some people even started laughing when she laughed because her laugh was so funny. Not that many people in Hogwarts had heard her infectious laugh which was kinda sad because usually Rose would always be laughing. If someone had met her at the beginning of Hogwarts they would certainly have heard her laugh but recently she had been thinking about her Papa too much which was bringing her down. She had a feeling it was also causing her sleepless nights. The nightmares that kept her awake had something to do with her Papa even if she could never remember them. She had never have nightmares before and the only reason she would have a nightmare is if something happened with her Papa. She cared about him too much. She knew that he didn't love her but she couldn't help loving him and it was bringing her down. She felt as if she was the one to blame for her current condition. All would be reveled when she went home for Christmas. If he was in any way better that meant that because she was gone he had started to get better.Rose wasn't sure what she would do if that was the case. She tried to not think about it but it always managed to squeeze itself into her brain, causing her mixed emotions.

Rose smiled slightly, wondering how the two would have gotten on if they hadn't shared their dancing and singing session. It didn't matter though because no matter how different they were they were still going to be friends. It would be interesting to see how the two of them got on. Rose got the feeling that this boy had the same attitude to her in regards to life. You only loved once and you should make the most of life. Some people really loved school though and maybe for them it was fun.Rose knew that school was needed if you wanted to get anywhere in life. But that didn't mean it had to be all school books and homework. You could go a bit crazy every now and then. The beauty of being young was that you had your whole life ahead of you and you should try make the most of it. Rose nodded her head in agreement, she knew where he was coming from and she agreed "I know, you only live once and you should make the most of it"Rose said belief in her voice. She thought that was the best way to look at life because you would get the most out of it by living life to the full.To be truthfully Rose was glad to have met someone who agreed with her.Not many people were brave enough to act a little crazy or do weird things. They got self-conscience and shied away from doing amazing things. "I'll be keeping my eye out for you too"Rose said,it would be great if sometimes they could just agree to meet up and go totally crazy. It would be even better if they could get other people to join. "I agree"Rose said smiling, hoping they would attract the right attention. Amazingly Rose knew this song as well which was surprising since most of her favorite songs were in French. She began to sing twirling around to the music and just tried to loose herself in the music.
