We're going to get wet

Tyson and Immy arrived at the wet Quidditch Pitch, after an encounter with a proffesor on the second floor. Tyson headed over to the broom shed, and picked out nice dark one. It was unfortunate that he hadn't been able to get his own broom, but it was still under his bed in the Gryffindor boy dormitary.
"Ready?" he called to Immy, grinning, and wiping his wet hair out of his eyes.

Immy was soaked in mere minutes. Her normally ringlet golden blond hair hung limply in it's wet state. She followed Tyson as they walked to the pitch. It had been strange to have met a professor in the corridor. Immy took a broom from the shed and followed Tyson onto the pitch. Immy had been to pitch several times since her first flying lesson and was now able to fly better than she thought she would be able to. Immy nodded and pushed her hair out of her eyes. She was wet to the bone. Immy smiled at Tyson, she was ready.

"Ready." Immy stated. She held her hand over the broom and commanded it upwards. After this she mounted the broom and pushed up into the air. The air rushed quickly past Immy's face. She wondered how in this rain she was going to be able to see clearly. She looked around at the grey, wet grounds. She could feel drops of rain dripping from her nose and ends of hair. She looked down to Tyson and waited for him to join her in the air.

"Ready?"Immy shouted to him. She wondered if there might even be thunder and lightening.

Tyson mounted his broom quickly, an followed her up into the air. He loved flying, it was such a free feeling. When he was level with Immy he said "There's something I've been wanting to do since I got to Hogwarts. Do you mind if we give it a try?" He gestured towards the castle "What I was thinking, was that we could fly around the castle, look in windows, land on the roof, and stuff like that" he explained. Froom the moment he had laid eyes on the castle, he had wanted to explore the castle from the air, and this seemed like the right time.

Immy watched as Tyson reached her level. She looked to castle. What would it be like to explore the castle from the air. Immy was too wet to be worried about the rain. She could see the many lights of the school glowing. Immy nodded. She wanted to explore the castle badly, from all aspects. Foot or Flight.

"Lets do it." Immy said "Lead the way." Immy said, making her broom go back a little so Tyson could lead and go in front of her.

Tyson grinned, glad that she was up for it "Great! Ok, then, I hope you're ready for speed" he said mischeviously, before signalling his broom to go. The rain got in his eyes, and he had to slow down, as he couldn't see. When they reached the castle, he stopped.
"Should we find Gryffindor house first?" he asked, looking around in the direction he thought it might be.

Immy was quick to follow Tyson. The rain battered against her face, clothes and hair. She could hardly see. She slowed down slight as she'd seen Tyson do the same. It wasn't long until they reached the castle. Immy hovered and looked around at the castle. Through all the rain it looked pretty cool. She tried to figure out where the Gryffindor tower was. She did this by imagining herself in the school. Immy pointed to a large tower.

"I think it's that one." Immy said pointing to one of the towers. She flew towards it, feeling the freedom she'd always longed for through flying. It was a fantastic feeling. Immy loved flying, it was completely different from anything else. She quickly reached the tower she'd been pointing at. She looked in one of the windows and right enough it was the Gryffindor tower.

"This is it." Immy said with a smile. She could see a lot of people, and wondered if any of them would look out.

Tyson nodded in agreement, and pulled the handle of his broom around to follow her. When they reached the window of the common room, he peered in. A sixth year girl did a double take as she saw him. Laughing, he dipped down below the level of the window. He flew vertically up the tower, and over the turret, coming down lightly on the roof, as he waited for Imogen.
"Hmmm, where should we go next?" he asked when she had joined him.

Immy smiled and looked inside the common room. She was quickly joined by Tyson. Someone saw them but didn't seem to take it in. Immy quickly followed Tyson to the roof of where they were. She looked around at the wet school.

"How about the Great Hall?"Immy suggested.

It sounded like a good idea to Tyson "Sure! Hmmm... which direction do you think it is?" he asked, looking around at all the turrets and towers. He had an inkling it was over to thei right "How about over there?" he said, pointing in the direction he was talking about. Hogwarts was even more amazing from the top, and he knew that he would probably spend all day exploring it on his broom.

Immy looked over to the direction that he was pointing to. Immy nodded. It looked from this distance like the Great Hall. There would be no telling until the actually got to that part of the school. Immy brushed her wet sleeve against her forehead. She nodded, looked to Tyson and smiled. She turned her broom in that direction and flew over. Once she reached it, she looked inside one of the windows and right enough it was the Great Hall. She looked over to when Tyson finally joined her.

"The Great Hall." Immy said "It's amazing to be able to just look in."

Tyson followed Immy over to the window, and joined her in looking inside "Yeah, it looks different from up here" he said, smiling slightly.
"So" he said, looking at her "Tell me about yourself" he said, smiling at her. Tyson had realised that he hardly knew anything about Immy, since they had sort of met, and then taken off on a spur of the moment fly around the castle.
After a moments thought, he gestured towards an overhang by the wall "Should we maybe talk under there, where it's dry?" he said, flying over to it.

Immy smiled and nodded. She was aware of how little she knew about Tyson and thought it might be good to get to know him. He seemed like a nice person. She watched as he flew off to a slightly dry area. Immy looked round her and flew over to where he was. She landed and dismounted from her broom. She sat down and looked to Tyson, wondering what parts of her life to leave in and what parts to leave out. She took a deep breath before beginning.

"My name's Imogen Day. My birthday is the 16th of May. I'm from Aberystwyth in Wales. I have a mother, who is a witch and I have a father, who is a muggle. I have a little sister called Pixie she's 6 now and at a muggle school in Aberystwyth. I had two brothers, Zane and Romeo. I have a cat named Belarus like the country and I hate spiders. This is my first time away from home and I only came to Hogwarts New Zealand because my mother said it would be better than going to the one back home. I kinda agree." Immy said with a smile. "Thats Me. What about you, tell about yourself?"

Are they able to sit down at the place where they are? If not I can edit that out

Yup, let's just say they can. Sorry for the late reply!

"Wow" Tyson said when she was finished "Your life is really interesting" he said. Unlike mine he added in his head. Everybodyelse here that he had met seemed to have an interesting background, and interesting hometown. But then there he was, from New Zealand, with no special talents or anything. So it was reluctantly he started to tell Immy about his life.
"Well, my name is Tyson Huntly, I have a twin sister called Tabitha, who's also in Gryffindor. Our parents are non magical, so we had no idea about magic, and I'm also from New Zealand" he said, gesturing out at the land.
"Not much to tell" he said, with wry smile.

Immy nodded as he spoke, she didn't think her life was that interesting and there was a lot more to it than what she'd said. Immy was also sure there was more to Tyson's life than he was giving away. Immy smiled at him.

"Thats cool. More will happen. You're interesting. I find your life interesting, mine is a little plain." Immy said. "You never told me when your birthday was?"

((Sorry about the lateness  ))

Tyson smiled, looking down at his shoes "Thanks" he said, befor elooking up,and answering her question automatically "April 12th" he told her.
"So, how are you finding Hogwarts?" he asked, looking sideways at her. The rain continued to patter on the ledge abov them, but rather than being cold and annoying, Tyson was finding it rather comfortable, and rhythmic.
