Phoenix Smith walked the Durmstrang halls, it was a Saturday, with a sense of a secret hidden in her gaze. She needed to speak to Alois. It was to do with their friendship. They had met in the summer when Alois' father and Phoenix's uncle had conversed about a new business plan and soon Mr Eisler and Alois were visiting regularly.

She got looks from the younger years, she looked at her clothes, fairly normal. White shirt with black sleeveless sweater over the top, Phoenix pendant, black skinny jeans, black converse...normal for her at least. Her normal curls were scraped up into a ponytail and she had been practicing smiling in the mirror and she could almost smile again.

But, as much as Phoenix wanted to disagree, they were different. Alois had tons of friends and good looks and smarts...Phoenix had no friends and considered herself ugly and stupid, when actually they were quite the same. Phoenix was pretty, and smart, she just didn't see it.

As she was walking, she saw someone catch her eye. Alois. "Hey! Al wait!"

Alois was just having a normal day, classes went on as boring as usual, he talked with a few friends, write some letters to a special friend that he had who's studying in another school, and run and talk his way out of those girls who were trying to talk and strike a long conversation with him. All in all, everything was just normal, although in reality, it isn't. After all, he hadn't seen Adrie nor Adalyn the whole day, of course in the case of Adalyn, it's because she's from a younger year.

Sighing to himself as he walked along the currently crowded halls of Durmstrang, Alois had had his thoughts on the things that he needed to do, that is, until he heard someone call out for him, of course, there' s only one girl who would use that name to call him, none other than the girl that he had met on one of his father's business meetings before. "Phoenix...what are you being in such a hurry for?" He asked her, wondering why it was that she was looking for him.

Phoenix Smith panted a bit before looking at Alois. "I need to talk to you..." she was about to say what she needed o speak to Alois about when she noticed a bunch of girls behind him, staring love hearts at him and daggers at her. "...But maybe somewhere a little more...private?" She sent a questioned look at her friend.

She dreaded what he was about to tell him. And maybe in an old classroom would help. And maybe lock the door to stop people barging in.

Alois had had to raise an eyebrow at Phoenix' statement, he wasn't sure what it was that she was about to tell him, but by the looks of it, it seemed to be quite important, after all, she wouldn't have to run all the way around the school just to find him if it was just a trivial thing right? "Well, I don't mind, sure." He said, nodding his head and not really caring about the looks that they were receiving. "Where to?"

Phoenix Smith bit her lip as she thought. "The abandoned classroom?" she said as a more command then question. She grabbed Alois' wrist and pulled him towards the old classroom. When she got there, she opened the door and pulled herself and Alois inside. Then the door slammed on it's own accord. "...odd..." she whispered.

She spun to look at Alois and bit her lip again. "Well after hearing what some of your friends think about me, I don't think we should be friends anymore." she stated in basic.

"Your friends think I'm crazy and mad and a loser. Well, I sort of am and I'm unpopular and ugly. And you...your smart, funny, you know how to smile without force, and your good-looking. And they also said if your frauds with me, they won't talk to you anymore.

Alois had no time to answer Phoenix' question when he felt her grab his hand and pulled him towards their destination. He need not to argue though, for actually, what she had done was quite good, for they need not to explain themselves to the onlookers. Once inside the said room, he frowned slightly, seeing that the door had suddenly shut itself on its own accord. "yeah..odd" He replied back, scanning the area and looking what might have been there before it was said to be abandoned.

What Phoenix had said had definitely caught his attention, he had never heard about that at all, or maybe, he was just too focused with his own thoughts to even bother about what the others were saying. "What?" He asked incredulously, trying to figure out if what he was hearing was what he was really supposed to be hearing.

"Wait Phoenix, they have no right to choose whom I can befriends with... where had you heard such thing?" He stated, eyebrows furrowed in confusion.
