As he went up the steps to the abandoned classroom, Raziel Kim, a pale boy of age thirteen, started to think of his days in Hogwarts and how far he'd come along since then. Alright, he may not have gone that far, but he started to think of his days in Hogwarts anyway. Being alone could do that to a person. Two years had passed since he set his feet to this magical school for kids like him. He had had thought that things wouldn't be that interesting and that things would just stay the way that they are, that he'd just be the same kid that he was back at home. He had thought wrong though. Certain events had happened, and now, here he was, a completely different person from who he was two years ago. He had changed, maybe not on his personality nor on his appearance, but he changed. He was still that odd and sickly boy that he was before. He still had that blonde shoulder length hair of his and that soft features which makes him look like a girl at first glance. He still had that scrawny little body. He's still an introvert and socially awkward. He's still weird. He still prefers to be alone. But still, he had changed. More than half a year ago, he had experience something that he knew would change his life forever. Only his immediate family knew about it. The head of the school and some professors knew too of course. They were supposed to know. And there was also this person whom he writes to every now and then. They're the only persons who knew about his condition. And he had been told that no one else should know. Or else, something might happen.

No one did notice the change in him. Not that he could blame them. He had been really hard to notice ever since after all. His skin is a ghostly shade of white, he had pale hair, and he rarely talks. His presence is just too low that it would be really hard to know that he was there unless he direct his attention towards himself. Checking whether he's the only one there, the Ravenclaw entered the abandoned classroom. True to its name, the room was indeed without any other person in it. Setting the books which he had been carrying with much difficulty since earlier down the dusty floor, Raziel too had positioned himself, sitting with his back against the wall and his knees close to himself. It's his usual sitting position. He didn't really bother whether the dust on the floor would get on his clothes. Picking a book from the pile that he had borrowed from the library, the thirteen year old started to read. He was too absorbed on his reading that when he heard crash somewhere inside the room, he had had let go of the chocolate bar that he had been eating. The surprise, however, wasn't shown on his face. Still having the blank expression on his face, the Ravenclaw stood up, picked up his chocolate bar, which, thankfully hadn't landed on the dusty floor but on the book, and started to look for the source of the sound.

Conan as cranky and annoyed as he always has been since more than a year ago, was pacing in his room. It was a good thing that he's roommates were down the Great Hall for a snack or they would have certainly teased him from pacing around the room too much. And for that, Conan would have definitely gave them a piece of his mind and probably a bruise to go along with it. He was getting more and more annoyed as September approaches, just like he has always been, and now, with his attitude change, he became worse than before. September was one of his disliked months, and for a reason. His parents' death anniversary. He never did like reminiscing such memories and he decided to go for a little walk.

The Hufflepuff boy was an unfamiliar sight to the Abandoned Classroom, and true to its known name, it was indeed abandoned and a bit dirty. Although, he wanted some time alone, and it was probably the best place. He kept still at a hidden corner of the classroom but his mind had continuously wandered off, bringing back memories from his past. Not all were good. Not all were bad. He didn't care. He was only there to think, but what he was supposed to think? He had no idea. It was then that someone entered the classroom, deciding to play a trick on the unfortunate student, he kept still and silent. And after a few minutes, he took a peek at who the student may be. And what a sight! It was Raziel! His own Ravenclaw friend which he haven't seen in a while! Excitement had flown through him and it was quite a fatal mistake as he had bumped through stacked chairs and knocked them down, causing quite some noise. Not only that, he fell to the floor, full of dust on his once clean body and clothes.

The sight that greeted him had surprised the Ravenclaw. His eyes may not have widened in the same way that other people's do when surprise, his face may have remained blank, but still, he was surprised. It was evident in the way that his lips were parted slowly and in the way that he was just standing still, not really bothering to help the person, who was currently down on the floor, up. "Well... hello." He muttered in that soft and almost inaudible voice of his, still rooted on his spot as he wasn't sure whether he should approach the boy or not. Her wasn't sure what had happened, maybe the boy had just decided that the floor looks comfy and that he would want to rest and lie there. He wouldn't blame him. The room was so quiet that it wouldn't be hard for someone to fall asleep there. "Is the floor that comfortable to sleep in? It would be better if you clean it up first." He added before he too had looked on his not dirty pants. He shouldn't be one to talk, but then again, he never did care about his appearance anyway. But he can't tell the same about this person.

After a few seconds, or probably even minutes, of just standing there staring at the boy, Raziel finally decided to approach him. Only then that he realized that it wasn't just any other student. It was actually Conan. The only person that he had ever talked to since he had attended that school. He would never forget that face of his nor would he ever forget the day that they met. Conan is actually the only 'friend' that he ever had. His sisters would tell him that he's too shy and that he should approach other people, talk, and start making friends. That it would be better for him to be friendly. He would always correct her though in that impassive and uninterested manner of his. "I'm not shy noona (sister), I'm introverted. I don't want to talk a lot because doing so is quite exhausting , and after that, he would be met by a tight hug of his sister, telling him about how stubborn he was. "Would you need help standing up?" The Ravenclaw said, a hint of uncertainty evident on his voice as he reluctantly offered his hand for the boy from the yellow house. It had been months since he had last seen him. He wasn't even sure whether the yellow boy would still remember his name. Much less, his face.

Ever been in a situation where your lower body is on the floor and your lower body is stuck on a pile of broken and turned over chairs, then your body is slippery and covered with dust? And because of that, you can't stand up?

Well, that's exactly the situation that the young Hufflepuff was in and he can't help but be annoyed. But in just a few moments, he heard the Ravenclaw say hello to him, probably not recognizing him. "Uh, hey" he said casually. The dust was not helping his annoyance leave, but at least Raziel was. "Uhm... Not so much, I guess. But cleaning it up would be a good idea," if Conan was not in such a bad position, he would have laughed to death. Really, Raziel had not changed one bit since they last saw each other. Conan may have changed, but he has not in front of his friends. He doesn't know why, but it just seemed so natural.

No matter how hard Conan tried, his hand would just slip whenever he tried to get up. And it was all thanks to the thick layer of dust situated on the floor. At times like these, he was half-hoping that the classroom wasn't abandoned and half-glad that it was. Hoping that it wasn't abandoned so it would be sparkly clean, not literally of course, and glad that it was so that no one would be able to see him in an embarrassing position. "Help would be nice," he said as he grabbed the hand of his friend, and steadily, was able to stand up right. "Arigato, Raziel!" he said with a welcoming smile on his face before he tried to dust his clothes and his arms. Dust was most annoying and clingy. "How have you been? It's been a long time!" Conan exclaimed as he was satisfied with appearance and was now curious with how the boy was doing after all the time they hadn't seen each other.

The boy was quite heavy, that much, Raziel could say. Or perhaps he really wasn't. Perhaps he was actually as light as a feather. Raziel would never know. After all, he was the one who was pulling the yellow boy up. Actually, the Ravenclaw would find anything that he had to carry heavy, no matter how small or big it was. He's not one who's proud of his physical strength. He's scrawny and he's quite small too. No wonder that he had had a hard time helping the boy on his feet, he tried not to show it on his face though, which wasn't really that difficult as he always had that blank face of his. It was actually really great that he had managed not to stumble while helping the hufflepuff, or else, both of them would have ended up on the floor. Raziel just nodded his head when Conan thanked him. He would have smiled too if he could, but unfortunately, he can't. If he did smile, it would just look forced anyway, so he didn't bother. Conan knew him, he'd know whether he really feels like smiling or not. "You're welcome." He said shortly, offering a spare chocolate bar to the hufflepuff as he watched him dust himself off. He should be doing the same thing too actually, but then again, he can't be bothered with that. He'll be sitting down on the floor again anyway, he'd just get dirty again. The chairs don't look promising to sit in too. At least, the floor would be much safer. "It's such a weird place to sleep in Conan." He added as he tried to fix the turned over chairs up, only to just lose his interest and to just walk back to his books, forgetting that he was actually with someone there.

Conan's voice reminded him of the yellow boy's presence though. Stopping and turning around to look at the hufflepuff once more, Raziel blinked his eyes a couple of times before he decided to answer. "I'm fine... I think." He answered, hiding his hands behind his back. He was wearing a long-sleeved shirt that looked too big for his body. But if one would actually lift the sleeves up, one would notice the bandages that were covering his wounds up. It hadn't been that long since the full moon. The wounds are yet to heal. He didn't want to tell the boy about it though. Conan's his only friend, even though the boy would probably not think of him as the same. He knew that Briar had told him that he should at least have a close friend that he could tell about his condition. But he really can't bring himself to tell the boy. He wouldn't want him to be scared of him. "How about you? Are you doing good?" Raziel asked, averting the topic away from his self. He really was interested about what had happened to the hufflepuff though. He hadn't seen him for quite a long time. They really had a lot of catching up to do, even though it would probably just Conan who would talk.

Conan was now able to stand up thanks to the Ravenclaw in front of him, although there was a bit of difficulty, at least they were able to manage. While dusting his clothes and body as best as he can, he can't help but notice the chocolate being offered to him a chocolate. He only gave a smile at the boy and said, "Nah. You can keep it," before completely providing his attention to the Ravenclaw. If Conan didn't know Raziel, he would have probably sweatdropped, yes, sweatdropped like the anime and manga characters he saw, because of what the Ravenclaw said. Or maybe probably annoyed. But instead, a small chuckle escaped his lips before confessing the truth. "Truth be told, I wasn't planning to sleep here," he said with a little smile before helping the boy turn over the chairs then watch the boy suddenly leave him at the midst of their doing.

Conan could only smile while he followed the Ravenclaw and answered his question. "I think? You sure you're alright?" he asked curiously. Conan didn't want to use his ability to detect lies. No. Not on Raziel. But logic seemed to take over him with the little comment that the boy had apparently added to his supposed to be answer. Yes, the little statement of 'I think' had made Conan's curiosity ascend as to whether the Ravenclaw really was alright or not. "Yep, I'm good. Had a fight with my sis though," he answered truthfully at the blue boy in front of him. Of course, he never did know how Raziel would react to such news, but then again, Raziel was always unexpected. And that's why Conan is amazed by him and likes him as a friend.

"Are you sure that you don't like it?" The ravenclaw asked skeptically as he reluctantly return the chocolate bar on his pocket. Who would refuse a chocolate anyway? Surely, not him. In fact, sweets and chocolates were his weaknesses. Should he not want to do something, his sisters knew what to bribe him with. Just give him some candy, or if one's request of him is something that is really hard to do, a chocolate, then Raziel would do it. Yes, he'll do anything for it. And no, it's not an exaggeration. The thirteen year old tilted his head a little at the the yellow boy's confession. Well, if he wasn't planning to sleep there, then what was he doing? It's not like he had some weird fetish, does he? Raziel shouldn't be one to judge though, after all, he's off-the-wall as well. Or maybe - looking at the fallen chairs and thinking back at the position that he had just seen Conan earlier, the ravenclaw finally pieced the puzzle together. He may have been smart and all but sometimes, the boy was just too slow to realize some things. "You fell." He said with a straight face, his eyes still holding that blank gaze as he reached out for the younger boy's hand, as if inspecting whether he had injuries or not. Now if it was another person, Raziel would probably have not done the same thing, he's really wary of any kind of physical contact after all.

"Yes," was the short answer of the Ravenclaw when asked whether he was indeed feeling alright. He didn't want to worry someone again. He'd be fine. At least, he thinks he'd be. It wasn't that he didn't trust Conan. Just, he really can't tell him now. Raziel just shook his head and tried to smile a little to reassure the yellow boy though it was actually quite hard for him to smile that his lips quivered a bit while he was doing it. After probably just a split second, he was back in his usual impassive face. "It's not good to fight with your sibling." Raziel answered without even blinking, his eyes on the other boy as if he was looking right into his soul. He knew people got uncomfortable with his stares, but he assumed that Conan's different. "That's the general rule. But then, there are always exceptions, right?" He then added, his voice still as flat as ever, as if he really wasn't interested in the topic even though in actuality, he IS. He wouldn't talk that much if he's not interested in it after all. He was also concerned for the boy even though it wasn't that noticeable. He really likes talking to Conan, he's able to talk a lot when with him. "I wouldn't want to by nosy, but if you want to tell me what had happened, I'd listen." He continued, mildly amazed at himself for actually being able to manage a full sentence out.

"Yep! You like those, right?" Conan said with a smile on his face. He wasn't much of a fan of chocolates, but he could remember well that Raziel likes sweets and loves chocolates. Well, surely he could reject them since he isn't too fond of them either. He'd rather have Raziel have it instead of him. "Uh... Yeah... That's basically it," he told him in a carefree tone as the other boy had began to check his hand, probably from injuries. He let the Ravenclaw do as he pleased before saying, "Shinpai shinaide (Don't worry)! No injuries, just dusty!" with a carefree look on his face, as if nothing had ever happened. Of course, even if he had injuries, he would have attempted to hide them to not worry Raziel.

"Alright then. Just..... Just don't hesitate to tell me if something's wrong and you feel like telling, alright?" he said, not knowing why he did. But, he could only feel that Raziel was not telling him something. He couldn't blame the guy, since he too, was not able to tell him a lot of things over the time they had spent separately. But now, if Raziel would ask, he would be willing to tell the whole tale of what had happened over the course of his life. "Yeah, exceptions," Conan muttered in a whisper with a little sigh. Of course, he really couldn't care less now if he and Ai made up, but he wasn't really sure if the fight they were having was one of the said exceptions. "I'll be more than glad to tell you," he said as a smile grazed his face. Yes. He trusted Raziel enough and he would tell him the whole truth of what had happened from start to end. Though there might be a possibility that Raziel would be against what he did, he was willing to tell the tale. "Let's take a seat first. On the floor, perhaps?" he said with a carefree expression present before taking a seat on the floor.

Raziel just nodded his head in confirmation when the hufflepuff told him that he could basically tell him if there was something that's bothering him. From all the time that he had known the boy, the ravenclaw knew that he could be trusted, after all, he's the first 'friend' that he had earned on the school. But then, even knowing that, Raziel still couldn't bring himself to tell him everything. Briar had told him in one of her letters that it would be better if he would tell a really close friend about his situation, it would help him a lot says her. On the contrary though, his parents had specifically told him that he should do all that he can so that no one would ever know what had become of him. He had been told that no one, except from his immediate family, should ever learn about his condition. Should someone know, it could be used against him. Worst, he could be killed. Werewolves were not really accepted in the community. They were viewed as menace, considered the scum of the Wizarding World's shoe. He knew that Conan were not like the others though, but still, he was afraid of what his reaction would be. Raziel really like Conan. The hufflepuff wasn't put off by the fact that he acts and talks weirdly, nor did the boy pity him even when he looked really pale and sickly. Raziel didn't like it when people pitied him, and honestly, it was good that the puff treated him normally.

Again, the ravenclaw just nodded his head when Conan had said that he'd be willing to share his story to him. Inside, he felt really happy that this 'friend' was willing to trust him enough to tell him about it. Though of course, that happiness wasn't showed in his face at all. It was just that, it was quite hard for him to show expressions. It didn't mean that he wasn't happy though. Raziel then followed what the other boy did. Taking a sit, his back facing the wall to support his weight, his knees hugged close to his chest, the Ravenclaw waited for the boy to speak. His deep brown eyes were staring into the boy's orbs. If it was any other person, he was quite sure that he'd be told to stop staring. That it was rude. He doubted that Conan would do that same thing though, he was quite sure that the puff had been used to how he acts already.

Conan could only smile as he felt Raziel's eyes staring at his own. He didn't mind though, in fact he liked it. It was a very familiar feeling and sight. One he hadn't felt nor seen for more than a year. Conan had lost communication with both Satsuke and Raziel during his second year as he was barely in the mood to leave his room but now, he was with his friend, and he's about to share what had happened during his fight with Ai. It would be the first time he'd be sharing it, and he was glad that it would be Raziel to first hear it. Clearing his throat, Conan began. "It all started with my broken promise. A few days before our actual fight, I promised Ai that I would be playing soccer with her, but during that day, I fell asleep and overslept. I had woken up more than an hour late for my meeting with my twin which I completely forgot about, since I had another appointment in the Library with a girl named Taylor," he said. His voice clear and without any mistakes, he remembered what happened like it was only yesterday.

"While Taylor and I were there, having a bit of fun, Ai came. Angry and disappointed. She threw all her anger out on Taylor instead of me, since she blamed her for me not being able to at least try to see if she waited for me or not. Taylor ran crying and Ai just left me. After a few days, I tried to talk to Ai about it. To talk her into apologizing to Taylor as she was also in the wrong side like me, but she didn't want to. I noticed her hands, they were bleeding and injured badly. She hurt herself because she was mad, and she didn't want me to know about it. I grew a bit mad at her," he said with a slight chuckle. Conan knew that he probably got mad at Ai first because of something so trivial, but now, their relationship as twins was near destruction. "Taylor came and Ai grew even more furious. She shouted at me telling me that I've changed and she doesn't know me anymore. She was shouting at me telling me to bring back her brother," he paused. The Hufflepuff remembered how he was hurt upon hearing those words from his own sister. His thoughts kept still on those phrases for a while, quite forgetting that he was actually narrating to his Ravenclaw friend.
