Home.

Lily approached the apartment, the last of her things in her hands from school. She was coming home officially. Graduation was over and she was out in the real world now. Married, graduated, and a shopkeeper. She had to pinch herself a bit to really believe this was all happening. Using her wand, she lowered the wards on the front door and opened it up, hauling the bags she had with her through the door. "Hello? Anyone home?" she called out as she made her way into the living area. Turning to look at Sumner as he followed her into their first home as a couple, she smiled. "Looks like we have the place to ourselves for a bit." With a wave of her wand, she banished her things to her room, then moved to the kitchen to get a bottle of water out from the fridge. Lily had been smart and at the graduation ceremony given Courtney a few galleons and a small list of groceries she wanted to have when she got home, knowing it might be a bit before she would be able to get out to get food after traveling all day.

She cracked open the bottle of water and gulped a bit down, then grabbed another one and walked back into the living area. She tossed the bottle of water at her husband, moving to look out over the patio. The sun was setting and the sky was beautiful over the grassy expanse that they lived on. The beach was out her sliding doors of her room and she loved to sit outside on the little patio and watch the sun rise. She was home -- a bit nervous, but still, so happy to be there.

Sumner deftly caught the water bottle, his eyes hot on his wife's back, mildly surprised she didn't just spontaneously combust right where she stood. He cracked open the seal and took several cooling gulps then dribbled some in his hand, rubbing it on the back of his neck. It didn't work; he wanted her, he needed her. Now. She was his wife, his one and only, he wanted to show her how much he loved her. How much he worshiped her for her mind, her soul, her heart...and her smoking hot body.

Hands now empty, water bottle forgotten on a side table, or the floor, he didn't give a rat's arse where it landed, Sumner caught his wife before she went outside. Arms strong from training slid beneath her knees and around her torso, lifting her against his chest. His mouth found hers, his breath puffing from his nose warmly onto her cheek. Sumner wasted no time, stalking swiftly with his prey to the bedroom. He didn't give a good damn who else was in the apartment. Maybe he'd be courteous and cast a silencing charm. He smirked against her lips; maybe. "You didn't let me carry you over the threshold Mrs. Drage." Not speaking another word, his eyes lit with carnal knowledge, Sumner shut the door with his heel and tumbled them to the bed.

Lily was not totally surprised when her husband approached her, but was caught off guard when he lifted her up and cradled her against his chest. Her surprise was short lived as passion took over. Sumner’s mouth was on hers, her arms linking up behind his neck, fingers finding their home in his hair. Being called Mrs. Drage by her husband made her heart soar. “I’m sorry, Mr. Drage. Whatever can I do to make that up to you?” she asked saucily as they fell onto the bed.
They landed with Lily atop Sumner. Her legs on either side of his waist, she quickly moved to pin his arms down with her hands. Grinning wickedly, she leaned forward and placed her lips to his, kissing him passionately.

Sumner let himself be caught, staring up at his wife of such a short time. Light from the slim window filtered into the room, the day wrapping to an end. It bathed her features, added shadows to her hair and gave more depth to her deep blue eyes. The smile on his lips died, his eyes darkened to a slate gray, face sober in its intensity. His hand, free, came up, burying in her hair and bringing her mouth down to meet his. He loved her, adored her and right now the laughter had faded but the love...the love would always remain.

The beach at night was a calming experience. Mind clear, heart light and arms filled with the warm body of his love, their legs entwined, Sumner knew he couldn't be happier than he was now. "So Mrs. Drage...I believe we've started our break the right way." His large hand stroked her hair, a smile playing on his lips, eyes closed as they rocked slightly to and fro in the hammock out on the beach.

Lily sighed as she laid atop her husband in the hammock outside on the patio. She was glad that over the last break she had helped the hedge that existed between her and Ford's patios grow, giving them each a bit more privacy. Her face rested on his chest, listening to each and every heart beat. She felt her love for him grow with every beat she heard. Things couldn't be more perfect as she laid in Sumner's arms, the crash of the waves the only other sound she heard.

"Mr. Drage, I do belive you are correct," she replied softly. "I cannot think of a better way to spend our time." Opening her eyes for a moment, she took in her husband's face, then stretched up to place a soft kiss on his lips. "Then again..." her voice trailed off as she made her intentions clear.

Thoroughly exhausted, Lily snuggled up to her husband once again. One solitary thought ran through her mind -- how much she loved Sumner with all her being. Her head rested again so she could hear his heart beating, helping the crashing waves to lull her to sleep. To her this was perfection and nothing could make her change her opinion. She loved Sumner with every fiber of her being and nothing would ever change that.
