Wand
Black Walnut/ Maple Wand 12 3/4" Essence of Silver Thistle
The shaft of the smooth wood was grasped firmly in between his index and thumb in a flexible grip, raising his pinkie, Henric tlted the wand down and twirled wildly before he took hold of it again. Taking a few steps forward, he swung his wand about a few times, stepped back, then directed his wand forward. "Expelliarmus."

There was a satisfying 'swoosh' sound as the tip of his wand glowed, and a jet of orange-yellow light burst out of the end of the wand and streaked across the dueling chamber, fading into harmless sparks as it collided with the end of the wall. Twirling the wand in his hand once more, he moved around the room in a series of acrobatic, flexible steps, before he brought his wand up again and sent it forward, muttering, "Diffindo."

Naturally, the more difficult spell exceeded his expectations, and a weak spark of green light spurted out of the end of his wand, showering the floor in pretty little patterns with razor-sharp edges that tore the material apart a bit. Spinning the wand in his hands again, he passed it from hand to hand in little tricky motions, then walked back towards the other end of the room. Hopefully, someone would walk in through the door and challenge him.

Maisie strutted down the corridor of the dungeons which passed the duelling chamber, it came to her attention there was just a boy in the chamber. Maisie smirked and walked in there. "Hello, a little dangerous for you to be wandering down here, don't you think?" She stated. "Well. Care to duel?" she bidded.

"Oh. Hello." Henric murmured, bowing his head in a polite nod. "It wasn't wandering, coming here was much intentional..." He smiled at her warmly, the kind of smile that sent most girls reeling back. Brushing his hair up, he shrugged as he turned to look at her with dull gray orbs after she poised her question. "I don't see why not." Allowing his hand to stretch itself out, he took hold of his wand, and moved to one end of the room, waiting on her to take the other end.

"Shall we begin?" He asked gently.

[Just thought i'd 'officiate' this duel :r: ]

Aurora was on duelling duty today, and it had been a little slow today, so she was relieved when a pair came along. "Hello m'dears, you know the rules. So... let the duel begin!" She stated, stepping back onto her chair, watching closely.

Maisie brushed herself down and flicked her hair behind her shoulders so it didn't get in the way. She whipped out her wand from her pocket. "Ok then" she smirked, turning around and strutting to the other side of the platform. When Professor Merrythought 'legalised' the duel, she gathered her wand and put herself in a stance. This was it. The moment of truth. "I'll begin." Maisie stated. "Furnunculus" she bellowed, with a flourish of her wand, the hex projected itself at the boy.

Lee glanced at the girl who was his opponent; analysing the aspect of her wand, movements, and calculating her abilities with a musing expression. That being said, he didn't seem to be able to react as well as he'd like to when the spell came streaking towards him. Leaping backwards and holding his left hand out before him to shield himself, or at least take the heavy burn of the blow, the spell struck clean, causing boils to decorate his arm. Raising a brow at it, he raised his right hand and positioned his wand out before him, cloak fluttering, yet making no other move.
