Collin was having a slight headache. It was from all the reading he did last night. He wasn't even done yet and now this pain was brought to him. A sigh escaped his lips as he carried along the History Of Magic book on his hands. He was already getting behind on this class and he really needed the extra reading for he does not want to fail. He already knew what the consequence is when he fails a subject. He already talked things out with his dad and he does not want that agreement to fail. As Collin was walking towards the Library for some quiet reading time, he saw his sister, Jessica. She was walking at the opposite side, carrying her sling purse with her along with a couple of books too. She was alone which was a little unusual since she is always accompanied by her friends. Collin caught her eye while walking and flashed her a smile, but Jessica rolled her eyes and turned back and walked away. This was extremely ridiculous. Collin didn't meant to make her feel inconsequential. But he only spoke the truth. He explained things to her a couple of times but she still doesn't get what Collin means. It was typical of Jessica. No matter what people says, when she thinks she's right, she's right. She never listens to other people's reasoning. Collin also disapproves of her imperious actions but he knew better than to corner his sister. He knows Jess is their dad's favorite child and if he got to his father's bad side, he would not be able to accomplish his dreams.
Collin erased the thought from his mind. Those thoughts only make things worse. His headache deepens which is really not a good thing considering the situation at hand. He had to finish this book or else he'll fail the test. He told himself to take a break from drawing for a while. Even thought drawing is what makes him feel better, he had to take a day off from it because it wasn't doing his studies any favor. Collin finally reached the Library. He entered it quietly and took a seat on one of the vacant chairs. He put the book down and opened it, and then he started reading.
