Ai had been meeting quite a few persons this year and she was not exactly glad of meeting them, since she doesn't know most of them. She would have been more glad if she happened to stumble upon an old friend, old acquaintance or enemy. It was quite tiring to introduce herself over and over again cause she kept on meeting new people. She didn't exactly like to introduce herself repetitively since it was a pretty tiring job.

Deciding to keep away the boredom, Ai got dressed and headed down the Common Room. She almost decided to stay there but thought that she might stumble upon her brother there, which wasn't exactly the best idea nor situation. The siblings' fight had gotten worse since their argument back in Japan, although, Ai didn't look as depressed as that when their fight had started. She slowly learned to hide her sadness from the people around her, she could even smile a bit now.

With her decision, Ai had arrived at the Sixth Floor. She didn't exactly have any idea on what to do there since she haven't even stayed there for very long in the past. But, she just decided to sit on one of the benches and watch as some students come and go. She haven't had the slightest idea if she would see a familiar face among the crowd but that was something she would find out for herself.

Heath James was not very excited about classes starting soon. To be honest, he was never excited about anything. The only thing that excited him was thinking about going home to his sister. Heath loved his sister a lot, and it was very hard for him to be away from her for a whole school year. He liked staying at the school for his breaks. Heath had to make sure he wrote his sister sometime during the school year. He could only imagine how Luvesha felt about him being away for so long. He knew his sister saw him as a son, so it must have been hard to watch him leave for Hogwarts. He assured her that he would be okay and the train would not crash and kill all of the passengers. He thought his sister exaggerated a lot, but it was because she did not know what else to do.

Heath walked up to the sixth corridor. He was so happy he was not in Slytherin because the walk from the dungeons to the sixth corridor would be a long one. Even with is super long legs he would not be able to make it. Most of the Prefects looked nice and fit, so he was sure they had no problems chasing kids around the entire castle. Heath did not know how he would feel about becoming a Prefect. He guessed it would be fun, but he did not think he had the behavior of a role model. Whoever wanted to follow Heath's footsteps was stupid. Who would want to be a worthless freak like him? He did not think anybody would.

He walked and looked around for a bit before he saw someone familiar. Ai Edogawa. He did not know how to describe his relationship with the girl, but he knew that he was on a first name basis with the girl. He guessed she was cool, but he did not really know. He did not like labeling people, unless he felt it was absolutely necessary. He walked over to Ai. She was sitting on a bench ans she looked pretty lonely. She and Conan had gotten into some kind of fight last year. He did not know what it was about, but he had heard it was pretty bad. Hufflepuffs stuck up for Hufflepuffs. Heath did not think he would defend every Hufflepuff he saw, but he would probably defend Ai and Satsuke. "What's up, short stuff?" he asked and sat next to her. She knew it was him. He was the only one that called her 'short stuff'.

Ai was sad and lonely. It couldn't be helped since she was having a now serious argument with her only family, her twin brother. And she was kind of blaming herself for it, since she was the one who lost her temper in the first place. And now, she was paying the price. She couldn't even approach her brother, even more, to have another conversation with him. And not seeing old friends didn't quite help a lot. Now, she was all alone, sitting in the sixth floor corridors.

Thinking about their argument back in Japan, Ai's thoughts were suddenly interrupted by a familiar voice. And not just a familiar voice, but a familiar calling as well. Somebody called her "short stuff" and no one other than Heath was allowed to call her that. She didn't know why she was allowing Heath to call her that, but maybe it was because she had a rather strange relationship with the boy.

"Hey Heath," she said with a little forced smile on her face. The young Hufflepuff couldn't exactly bring herself to smile wholeheartedly yet, after all that's been happening. "Nothing much I guess. Care to take a sit?" she calmly said as she moved to the side of the bench as to give space if Heath wanted to take a sit.

Heath frowned at how Ai reacted. She used to be all smiles when he was around, and now it just felt awkward to be around her. He did not like that. He liked being able to make Ai irritated when she was happy. Now, she was already sad, and this pissed him off. "Are you and your brother still not getting along? he asked and let his back rest against the wall. It was annoying that Conan and Ai were still angry with each other. If it went on for much longer Heath would have to yell at both of them.

OOCOut of Character:
Sorry for the shortness.

Ai could tell that Heath was annoyed by the way he frowned. Although, she wasn't quite sure on why the boy was irritated. Could she be the reason? If she was, she didn't know why. "Are you alright?" she asked curiously. She had always been curious about lots of things, but she didn't show it most of the time. Maybe, she was just worried on why the boy was frustrated so she asked. The young Hufflepuff was taken by surprise by Heath's sudden question. Well, it was a fact that she and Conan were still fighting, and she didn't want to lie to Heath. She nodded and said, "Yeah. And it just turned worse, I guess," with a little smile on her face. It wasn't really a happy thought, but she didn't know what kind of face to make in such a situation.

OOCOut of Character:
It's alright... xD
