Open Watching the sun

[Lily Harbour]

Lately it felt if as everything had stopped, the first semester was exciting and fun. Lily wandered around the grounds and climbed to the top of the cliffs and sat, staring at the bright red afternoon sun. It reminded her of a friend. She had gone there to feel the last of the day's warmth on her skin before it turned dark. It was quiet and lonely, but it was okay. She syn shone on her pale face for a while before she turned to look for something interesting to do. She spotted a tree with beautiful branches, immediately she stood up and walked to the tree. Lily started climbing it slowly until she reached the top, the view was even better from up there. The sun was almost gone when she saw someone pass by. " Heyy! " She called out , knowing they wouldn't spot her immediately but it was a way to see if she knew the person.

Veronica had gone to the cliffs to watch the sunset. She brought her notebook with her hoping she could have a quiet moment to draw the sunset, she wasn't very artistic but she used to draw from time to time. She was just arriving when she heard a voice greeting her, she was sure the voice had came from the direction of the tree but she figured trees did not speak, at least that she knew of.
"Hey" she said back, dragging the word a bit while she tried to look through the foliage of the tree, maybe someone was up there, but it was too dense dor her to see a thing "Who is there?".

Lily watched as the person looked around, she soon recognized the girl and said " V? I'm up here. " Lily waved down at the Slytherin and started climbing down, soon she reached the ground and headed toward Veronica. It had been a while since they spoke to each other. " Watching the sun? " Lily asked curiously.

 

[Veronica Right]

Veronica was sure that she recognized that voice but she couldn't associated with the face until Lily climbed off the tree "Oh hey!" she said to her. It had been a few months since they first met and Veronica didn't quite get along with the Ravenclaw girl which was now hard to believe.
"Yeah..." she said watching as the sun went down in the horizon "Enjoying my last bit of free time before the exams begin and we have to be studying 24 hours a day" she said giving the other girl a smile, she was not excited for exam season at all. She had already had a taste of it at the end of the first semester and she didn't like it enough to voluntarily go for a second round this semester but it is what it is and if she wanted to go to her second year she would need to do them. "What about you? Here watching the sun or you just like climbing trees?" she asked teasing her.
