Amber walked through the corridor near the Hufflepuff Common Room and stopped short as she noticed that there was something stuck to the wall. A piece of parchment? Not just one, lots of them! They seemed to be put up all over the corridor at random, as if whoever put them there wanted to make sure no one could miss them. Each of them had glaring red letters and a photo of a young girl.
As she stepped closer to read one, Amber frowned. This wasn't right! Even if someone did something bad like stealing, you went to tell a teacher, not do something like this. It seemed like a very mean sort of prank and Amber didn't like it at all. She took one down, and then another, wondering what to do with them. It quickly became apparent that there were simply too many for her to take them all down by herself. She sighed and looked at the pile in her arms, someone had put a lot of effort into this. She wondered for just a moment if it wasn't a mean prank but something else, but she couldn't imagine what. She knew what to do. She was going to find a professor and tell them, they would know how to handle this. With purpose, she marched out of the corridor to look for one.
