As usual the Dark Art's class had been an absolute breeze for Aiden Lorka, in fact it was starting to get so easy his Professor made him an apprentice. His Uncle and Grandfather had been pleased at hearing this news, and he really couldn't care less. The blue eyed boy was just frustrated with trying to teach Stephy how to do some really rudementary things that he had picked up on the spot, then again his family had been doing it for years, and he had to remember this.

His thoughts were very rarely on Hogwarts New Zealand any more, in fact it was rare when they weren't on his school work or on being less then pleasant to his lesser's, except Steph, he had a soft spot for that former Gryffindor. Some believed he was trying to get into the infamous Group but the truth was that he was just aggrivated with his peers. Everything about them just made him want to act like his older cousin, Hayden Kerberos.

Some thought it was just chaos for chaos' sake, while others thought it was because the third year was trying to be kicked out of Durmstrang to go back to Hogwarts and to Isabella Chaos, but that was wrong. He had such distate for Slytherin's and Hogwart's students now. Aiden didn't want a girl friend, he was put off from the group of them currently because all the drama and uncomfort they brought to him, that, however, didn't mean that he couldn't appreciate a good looking girl, in fact he would very much so.

Lorka's thoughts were whiped from his mind as he saw his Room Mate, Ivan Petrov. He nodded in his direction. The two were supposed to meet up after their class today, as they usually seemed to. Aiden had become fond of the younger boy last year when he Transfered and now they seemed to be pretty decent friends.

"Hello," Aiden said, as they began walking side by side, but not close enough so they weren't comfortable. He has spoken, to his surprise, in English, it wasn't often that he spoke English anymore and when he did he no longer bothered to hide his French accent as he had as a Gryffindor and felt a little bit more comfortable doing so.

lame

Ivan exited his Charms class. It was such a bore to him. Not because he was exceptionally good at it and everything was already common knowledge to him, no, he just found classes so boring and not worth while at all. The only class that give him a spark of interest at all was Dark Arts due to the fact that he hated all the goodie goodie classes. In Dark Arts they learned the true magic, the stuff that would help when they left this hell hole.

Ivan moved along with usual flow of students moving from class to lunch. He scanned the crowd looking for his friend, and room mate, Aiden Lorka. The boy who had transfered to Durmstrang last year and Ivan quickly sparked a friendship with. He was a decent bloke and another person with a keen interest in the Dark Arts. Aiden was lucky to have a family with so much history in the Dark Arts, to teach him all those things. Ivan did have a good family, he and his mother and father, but there was times he felt like he didn't belong, but always forgot about the idea. After the first time he confronted his parents about it he never brought it up, that beating still haunted him.

His train of thought was side tracked when he heard a familiar voice from behind him, but he continued to walk in a casual manner. "Hey. How was class?" He asked.

"Hey. How was class?" Simply, Aiden shrugged, and sighed. "Class was more or less review," he said frowning at the thought of his exams that were coming up. He had to do something with a stupid plant in Herbology, a class he honestly had no patience for at all. "And yourself?" he asked, thinking back to his second year of Charms. He had enjoyed it, first year was what he had found dull. Of course seventh year would be the most complex for him, for anyone really for Charms. He was intent on learning how to properly conjure a Patronus Charm, even if he had no clue what his happiest memory was, not yet any way.

I feel like going off campus, Aiden thought to himself with an inward smirk. If he wanted to get out of Durmstrang at any time, any one of the Group males would take him, Zeraldi simply wasn't old enough and Svetlana just didn't like anything that was related to Hayden. Perhaps this weekend, he added thoughtfully, as he mentally checked his exam and personal schedule. "What did you say you're doing over break?" Aiden asked in German*, unable to remember at the current moment.

*Note: I assume Ivan speaks German, I think that is the language Rowling intended on all Durms learn in.. right?

That or Bulgarian

Ivan give a groan and a roll of his eyes, "Lucky. The stupid Professor is still throwing spells at us and exams are around the corner." he said with anger in his voice, how could they learn so many spells in such a short space of time? But Ivan asked no questions and got no answers, and liked to keep it that way. Despite how much he hated the classes he stuck through them and scrapped the best marks he could, normally with some tutoring from Aiden. He had to if he wanted to have any sort of career after Durmstrang.

Break? Ivan thought to himself, he hadn't actually put much thought into it. Break became just another monotious thing for him to endure during his days in this place. He normally spent them practicing spells, on unexpecting first year, or talking to the small female population. "Nothing out of the ordinary." he replied. "Do you have something in mind?" he asked, somewhat hopeful.

A chortle escaped Aiden's lips when he heard Ivan's groan. The boy really was quite the character, and although there wasn't much of an age difference he felt like it had been decades since he had the same attitude to everything. "Do you need tutoring again?" he asked with a smirk in his voice and on his lips as he said again. The Durmstrang boy certainly had no problem helping his friend, in fact his often did tutoring for money, well he only asked for money from those he disliked or didn't know, but people he really didn't like he demanded a favor just to see how they acted as they pulled it off. It really was lucky for him most people here seemed to go by the honor system and didn't wish to disgrace their family by going back on their word.

"Eh, I'm going back to New Zealand again. Figured I could use someone fresh terrorize my half sister," Aiden said as if he was speaking of the weather. It came so naturally to insult and make harsh comments about Joceline when she was or wasn't there, he really didn't notice any longer. "That is unless you'd prefer to spend time with the homely mudbloods that often stay here," he commented, knowing full well that the better looking girls that attended Durmstrang, although there weren't many, usually went to their homes over holidays.

Ivan heard the remark Aiden made. "Oh haha. How about we see if I actually have a brain of my own and if I can pull this one off myself?" He asked trying to challenge himself, he wouldn't always have Aiden to get him out of his tight spots. "Then agian, it's only charms." he added with a shrug. If he learned the spell, eventually that's all he really needed to know.

Ivan heard Aiden's suggestion. He gave a chuckle, "Sounds like a plan mate. What's your half sisters name again? Jacquline or something like that?" he asked, he knew he wasn't right, but he was close right? God knows he needed to get some fresh blood and by fresh blood he meant someone Pure, like himself. He was proud of his Pure Blood status, and always had been. But when he discovered that people in Durmstrang weren't all at least Mixed Blood or more, he felt sick. How could the Professors expect him to learn anything with the stench of Mudblood lingering around the castle like a bad smell that couldn't be gotten rid off, no matter how hard they tried. Ivan didn't answer Aiden's last remark, but simply give a small shudder at the thought of it.

With an aggitated grumble, Aiden said, "Joceline." Personally he preferred to call her cold insults but he was sure that Ivan would have his own way to hurt that little snot. A smirk formed on his lips then asked, "Would you like to go to the Hall or do you want to join me in the Group's hang out?" Aiden was an unooficial member of the Group, and new that once Svetlana was gone that the pretty blonde, Zeraldi would suggest to Mihal to let him in. Hopefully by then the Group wouldn't be dying and he would be able to lead them to victory.

A smirk formed on Ivan's lips at the name that came out of Aiden's mouth. Joceline, Aiden's younger half sister. He knew how much Aiden despised him but Ivan found her kinda hot and the chance to meet her in person might not just be a bad idea, "Sure, it might be...fun." he said with a smirk on his lips. This weekend mightn't be so dull after all. he thought as he continued to walk down the hall.

Ivan thought for a moment at where to go next. He hadn't been to the Group's hang out yet, but he had heard all about them, they were infamous around the halls of Drumstrang and it was the group to belong to, "Sure the Group's hangout sounds good." he said.
