Alyssa's crystal blue eyes watched the waves crash upon the beach with a powerful roar. Alyssa was in love with the fact that she had a house right next to the Ocean. It made it very easy to visit the beach on warm days, and listen to the Ocean as she fell asleep. Chacen loved it too. He liked to play in the sand and try to catch the fish floating by. He was never very successful but it was still cute to watch. Right now Alyssa was settled on the sand, Chacen placed comfortably in her lap playing with a seashell he found by the shore. Alyssa loved spending time with her son. He was so young and innocent. He had no idea how messed up the world he lived in was. The only that concerned him right now was having fun and exploring whatever he could get himself into. Not to mention, he was one of the cutest freaking babies she had ever seen. Not that she was biased or anything. She did think that she and Vincent make some of the world's cutest babies though. "Daddy should be home soon. Are you excited?" Chacen looked up at her and smiled before nodding his small head. Some of his long pale hair fell into his face and Alyssa smiled before brushing it aside softly. She was happy Vincent would be home soon too. Lately, Alyssa had lost that glowing shine about her. She blamed that on her brother and his ruthless thugs. Alyssa was terrified that they were going to find her. What if they hurt her. Or they went after her family? Vincent, Chacen, and even Amauri was all she had at this point. They were her whole world. What if Theodore took them away from her? He was angry that she chose to turn her back on the family. But she fell in love with someone who led a different like than they did. Alyssa didn't believe in the killing or the prejudice her entire family encouraged. There was nothing more disgusting to her than seeing people treat one another like crap just because of their blood status. Alyssa was afraid to tell Vincent that she saw one of her brother's closest...well she didn't know what he was, but his name was Antoine and he was supposed to be her cousin. But he hated her. There was something about her that he really hated. It was probably because she embraced her blood and she believed that the Aurors were right while the Death Eater's were cowards. The sound of the door closing made Chacen pop up from Alyssa's lap. That must be Vincent.
"Dadee!" Alyssa smiled and stood up from her spot on the ground. She brushed the sand from off of her dress and followed after her son who was already tottering his way up the beach and toward their house. Alyssa thought it was so cute how much Chacen adored his dad. Chacen already was at the sliding glass door. Alyssa paced herself a little more quickly so she could open the door for Chacen. Once she did the small bound bound into the house in search of his dad. Alyssa closed the door behind her and brushed some fingers through her blonde hair. She had no idea where Chacen or Vincent was but she knew that she was alone in the kitchen right now. The room was dimly lit. Alyssa didn't have the lights on while she was outside. One of Alyssa's biggest fears was that Vincent would notice she seemed, upset. If he worried then things might get difficult. Alyssa didn't want to have to face him with her problems and have him get worried. Vincent and the emotion of worry wasn't exactly something that mixed. Plus what if he wanted to try and go after Theodore. Even if he was older, Theodore didn't wind up in Slytherin for nothing. That boy had tricks up his sleeves. Ones that not even Alyssa thought she could figure out. There was no way she was going to risk the love of her life ever being harmed without there being a way that she could stop it. Alyssa peered into the house, her husband and her son were nowhere to be seen still. Where did they go?
