Personality: she is not nice though she often pretends to be to get her own way. She is not very polite unless it benefits her somehow. She can be a tease and an extreme flirt but that does not mean the guy gets the girl She is violent to the point where she will cause harm on those around her. She is intelligent, cunning, devious. She is self absorbed, egotistical.

History:Venus was always disgusted when she discovered her father had chosen not to align himself with the DE at the most advantageous time to do so. Her grandfather fought on the side of Voldemort during the first Wizarding War but suffered severe injuries that he never recovered from. She was even more disgusted when her only brother decided to marry a muggle born and quickly cut herself from the family that raised her when she came of age. She threw herself at the mercy of the DE, going through their rigorous initiation and intensive training.

But on the day that she was to receive the 'mark' she disappeared. After witnessing the gruesome murder of a young pureblood wizarding family Venus was sorely disillusioned. The DE were nothing like she thought they were. Their ideals had nothing to do with what the Dark Lord had once preached. They were no more intent on the annihilation of muggles as they were in lining their own pockets and if it meant destroying anyone who got in their way then so be it.

She made her way to New Zealand. Knowing here she had some family but who knew nothing about her. She did not consider for a moment that the DE from Italy would simply leave her be, so now looks over her shoulder at every turn. Mistrusts everyone but with good reason too.

After settling in at last to her new home, Venus now works in a jewellers and lives in a small two bedroom house nothing compared to the opulence she had been used to as a child. She had begun to make friends at last but none that she has been able to trust completely though she always gives the impression that she does. Now with the ministry of magic elections taking place she receives word that her cousin is to arrive and as the two were once very close, Venus looks forward to the visit.
