Closed Valentine's Day Rewind

Jatin had slept through the Valentine's Day dance, which he was supposed to attend with Kiara. He felt horrible about it! Any decent person would. He invited Kiara to have a picnic with him to make up for his mistake. This would be Jatin's first date, but he did not know if Kiara had been on dates before. If the dance was meant to be her first one, he surely messed up BIG time! The fifth year had prepared a red and white checkered blanket with some different snacks. A tiered serving tray sat in the middle of the blanket. The sweet treats started at the bottom and the more savory options were at the top. He stood waiting for the Ravenclaw with his arms behind his back.

Kiara was extremely excited about Valentines Day, she loved that day. It was almost her favorite holiday and she even got a date to dances and it she was sure that it will be her best Valentine's Day, but her date overslept. At the evening she was really dejected and later she wasn't even sure how to feel about everything. It was her first date and she got ghosted, it didn't feel good for sure, but then Jatin invited her to picnic. At first she wanted to turn him down, but instead of that she agreed. Kia always gave people second chance and there she was. Girl was that impatient about picnic that she spent night drawing Jatin, she was scared and excited at the same time. She was getting ready for this really long time and several times got stuck because didn't know what to wear, how to make her hair but then decided. She felt stressful, but ready.

"Hey Jatin," she came up to him with cheerful smile, but hiding her hands behind. Kiara had her last night drawing with her, she wanted to give it to him as a little present. She also had some snacks with her. "Uh, it's for you. I hope you will like it," Kiara stretched it forward to Jatin. She hid her other hand behind her back, while smiling. At least she wasn't blushing.
