Valentine's Dance

Professor Justin Cliffeton stood at the front of the Great Hall, which had been changed to look like it had been puked on with Valentines. He smiled to himself at the thought, as it wasn't like Justin didn't enjoy Valentines Day & he had big plans for when he arrived back home tonight to Lily. He was excited to see his Ravenclaws with all of their partners, and he smiled when the students began to pile in. His smile grew as he saw all the giggling girls, and remembered what it was like when he had attended the Yule Ball when he was in Hogwarts. He welcomed the students, and motioned for the band to begin playing. It would be a fun night.

Scarlet has been so busy with Quidditch she didn't even realise it was Valentines day, she hadn't even been asked by anyone, but that wasn't going to bother her, she could go alone, there was nothing weird about that. It would be weird if she brought her broom as a date however.

Wearing a Valentines day Red Dress she walked into the ball which was filled with hearts and cupids, anything red and romantic it was somewhere hidden in what was the hall. Scarlet looked around the room at all the couples with red roses, she caught the eye of the deputy Headmaster who just was grinning at a group of girls who where giddy, her expression obviously broadcasted that she was creeped out, she quickly looked away and walked further into the ball, ducking under floating hearts she found a table off to the side where she could sit and witness the events, maybe say hi to a few friends if they popped by if they wern't too busy sucking face.
