Kynleigh grabbed her very worn out copy of 'Quidditch Through the Ages' and wandered around until she found the student lounge. It was drizzling and nasty outside so the option of getting out of the castle for a while was out of the question. Plopping into one of the giant overstuffed chairs the blonde flipped herself around so that her head was resting on the seat cushion and her legs were laying against the back and flopped over the top. Propping open her book she went to the portion of about her favorite team...Appleby Arrows. Though she didn't play quidditch herself, and being from a muggle family, she loved the game. It was always exhilarating to watch the matches and how the players moved. Maybe one day she'd get to meet one of the famous players and maybe just maybe one day she'd get over her fear of heights.

Romaine was desperate to get out of the Common Room for a few hours or two. If his older brother Theodore or that pretty blonde girl he liked was around he probably would have been more willing to be around. But since it was just Kendra and Alyssa the boy seriously needed a break from the two of them, sometimes his sisters just got on his nerves more than they could ever know. Of course Kendra was more tolerable because she was his twin and he was used to having her be near him year round, but his older sister was a different story. Romaine thought of her as such a priss that it wasn't even funny sometimes, with the amount of money she spent on clothes he figured she could use that money for much better things. Like building a Quidditch Stadium. That would be an amazing investment to her money. Maybe someone could teach her how to play as well since he and all the other Snows knew that she sucked. Romaine was pretty good for someone his age, over the years he would hopefully improve though because he wanted to make the Quidditch team once he was old enough. His best Positions were Chaser and Keeper but he had tried them all a few times. He wished he could play Beater like Theodore could, that would be sweet. But alas he wasn't that coordinated with the Bat as it often flew out of his hands and at some poor unsuspecting players face.

Stepping into the Student Lounge to hide out for awhile from his sisters he flicked some of his blonde hair out of his blue eyes before he spotted an empty place to sit. Next to a chair where someone reading a magazine that he happened to make him smirk when he noticed what it was. "Your a fan of Quidditch too?" Romaine asked the mystery person as he sat down in one of the chairs near theirs. It was always a good idea to connect with people who had the same interest as yourself, so Romaine was going to take advantage of this person and see if they would get along with him. Romaine needed more friends anyways.
