Dan wandered into the Forbidden Forest, wearing a black hoodie, and some black track-suit bottoms. He knew he shouldn't really be here, so didn't want to attract to much attention to himself. It was getting dark, so Dan lit a torch with his wand, 'Lumos.' He whispered, so he had some light to see where he was going.

Dan climbed up a nearby tree, and sat in between to branches, as he balanced himself between them. He was just about to climb up further, when he saw a familiar face. He shone the light on his wand at her. "OY." He shouted, wanting to make her jump. "Oy...Paradox, up 'ere." He called, with a mischievous smile on his face.

Willow had been sleeping in the Forest. She was blood red hoodie herself and tight black jeans. There was no doubt that Willow had not changed much except for her body. She had come into the Forest because she knew that not a lot of people would come in here after that boy got himself offed by a creature of the forest. Willow was more carful than that. She heard someone call out to her through the fog of her dreams and groaned. "The school had better be on god damn fire!" She yelled from the branch she was laying on. She didn't have to look to see who was there. Dan had a very distinctive voice that worked on her last nerve. It was never a good idea to wake up a sleeping Willow.

Willow rolled her eyes under her eyelids. "What are you twelve?" She asked bittingly. "I was trying to get to sleep after the night I had but it looks like even in the Forbidden Forest I can't get the peace for it." She growled. Her face was in a snarling position that took whatever beauty her face once held. Willow could be quite ugly when she wanted to be and she wasn't trying to draw this boy at all.

Dan smiled cheekily. "No, I'm 15 actually...and you think you'd get sleep in 'ere?...in this place...not a chance my girl." Dan said, moving in ever so slightly closer to Willow. "Ya know, if the wind changes ya face will stay like that." Dan smirked, as he made his cheeky comment about her facial expression.

Willow shook her head as she made the effort to get up on her hands. "It should be quieter now that the Slytherin got offed." She said glaring at Dan. She raised her eyebrow. "Your girl is back in the Gryffendor commenroom. Ya call me that again and I will make sure you get offed." She said rolling her eyes. "Ey it still be better than having a face like yahs." She said her neck moving a little. Dan in any other circumstance would have been a pretty good looking guy but Willow was not effected by that alone.

Dan laughed slightly. "As if you could off me...and for future information...I'm single yeah?....No girl for me...not yet." Dan smirked, then gave Willow a cheeky wink. "A face like mine? You wish..." Dan joked as he dropped his legs down so they were hanging in mid air as he sat himself down onto the tree branch. He once again moved in slightly closer towards Willow. "Ya know if ya changed that hard act, that pretty face might actually suit ya..." Dan complimented the girl, for a change.

Willow rolled her eyes. "You have no idea." She was all she let him know about the subject. She wondered why he kept giving her that nosiating wink. As if he where truly trying to lure her into something. She half wanted to like it but the half that hated it was also the part that made her put her foot up like a spring loaded trap. She had seen him with that girl in the common room. She had seen Dan with many girls. If there was one thing that Willow would not be it was a trophy for some boy. "This ain't an act numbnuts this is me. When you go through half the sh*t I go through then you can tell me to drop it." She said. Her body was still tense up enough for if Dan came closer to her.

Dan's cheeky smile changed to a frown as Willow him that he hadn't been through what she has. He thought about his family, and how bad his past has been. "You don't have the first clue about what I've been through, what you go through is nothing yeah...Unless you wanna explain..." Dan paused for thought. "Ya know what, you ain't even worth explaining my life to, so I'm not listening to your pathetic excuses." Dan climbed up to the next branch of the tree then leant forwards on it, as he looked down at Willow. He changed his facial expression back to that cheeky, and mischievous smile, then climbed up, one branch further. "You ever been to the top of 'ere?" Dan questioned.

Willow's life had been spiraling for a while now. She wasn't about to explain herself to someone like Dan either so she let it go but not before putting her hand in the shape of a muggle gun and pointing it at Dan. "Bang, bang baby." The fact that she knew what one looked like and how it was shaped said a lot of what Willow had been doing over the holidays. For a moment it seemed like she was seeing something more real than that stupid cocky grin but then it came back and Willow had to roll her eyes. "I have. Looking at the top of the trees is something else all together. Makes ya think that there could be something else out there." She said her eyes trained on her. Her legs went down on the branch she had been resting on.

Dan smiled again, "Well if there is something else out there, then getting to the top is the only way you'll find out, so come on, I'll meet you up there." Dan said, before climbing up the tree, until he reached the last branch, which wasn't very stable, but it would hold Dan's wait for the time-being. Dan sat down on the branch, and rested his back against the tree trunk, as he stretched his legs out. He looked down to see where Willow had got to. "Oy, Paradox, hurry up will ya." He called.

(Three days later hua Dan)

Willow rolled her eyes then got up. She was going to put Dan's ass in the ground for waking her up but first she had to catch up to him. Willow started to reach for the branches. It didn't take her long to reach the branch that Dan was on partly because it was a sort of family skill to be able to climb. Willow was the daughter of a thief after all. She didn't want to think about that though. "I'm already going to give you an express ticket to the ground don't push me Adems." She said reaching for his branch and cracking it in waring before picking one of her own.

Dan laughed as Willow climbed her way up, putting on her hard act, and threatening him with the big drop down. "You seem a bit edgy Paradox...what's wrong? Afraid you're gonna be pushed down by me are ya? I ain't falling no-where girl." Dan made his way over to Willow's branch, then sat closely next to her. "I wouldn't push you down...how would I cope without Paradox...you're the only one who keeps me sane...couldn't live without ya girl." He said, giving her a playful nudge, and beginning to flirt a little bit.

Willow wondered how many girls Dan had said something simmiler to that line to. She hated playboys and she hated being treated like she was a weakling that would fall for things like that. In one swift movement she broke her own branch and jumped for the next one before she could fall along with it. The creatures of the forest would hate her for making so much noise as well as destroying a bit of their forest but Willow was willing to take the blows later. "Ya woke me up Danny boy. It is never a smart idea to be the one that wakes me up if I'm sleeping." She said evenly as she lifted herself up on to the next branch. Dan didn't get it. She wasn't going to fall for his charms whatever the other girls thought they could be.

Dan scowled as she called him Danny Boy. It sounded like a little kids nick-name, and Dan wasn't no little kid. "Don't go calling me Danny Boy, think of a new nick-name will ya?" He suggested, before taking a risk, and jumping down onto the branch that Willow had got herself to. Dan landed on the branch feet first, but loosing his footing on the branch, he slipped off it, but managed to grab the same branch with his hands, before climbing back up and taking his seat there, as his legs hung off of the branch. "And so what if I woke you'z up, ya shouldn't be sleeping in no forest, let alone this one, you don't know wa's out 'ere girl." He said, before moving in close to Willow, risking being thrown off of the branch. But Dan was willing to take that risk. "Don't flinch or nuffin' will ya?" He said, with a cheeky smirk on his face. "It'll send the pair of us flyin' Paradox." Dan said, with a small laugh in his voice.
