While most people were unhappy about school started back up once again for the Second semester, Miriah couldn't be happier about returning Hogwarts until the end of the year. School was the one thing the red-eyed beauty was good without even having to try very hard. Miriah always got excellent grades and tried with everything she had to remain getting the good grades she had always gotten in school, straight up O's and the occasional EE or two in the subjects she really disliked. Overall she was nothing short of a smarty-pants and that the way she liked it. There were other things Miriah liked too of course like watching Quidditch, Stargazing, traveling, and something she knew she would never be able to live without....strawberry shortcake. Even though she enjoyed books, studying, and all that just as much she wished other people didn't assume she just lived, ate, and breathed school work because there are plenty of times she would love to toss that all out the window. It was just that she worked hard for the grades she got because she wanted to be successful and actually cared about learning stuff because it would always help her in the future if she would ever need it. The only person that dared to see her as something other than a working robot was her sister Hadan and she was beyond thankful to finally be closer to her sister. Durmstrang was alright aside from the occasional annoying idiot or two but she enjoyed Hogwarts a lot more then she had anywhere else. And to her luck she managed to also find it very peaceful here, all the bullies were left at her old school and now she was able to focus on better and bugger things.

After a nice relaxing vacation Miriah had arrived back at the school with her sister, she had a suitcase that could be wheeled around in one hand and a good book about Astronomy in the other. Miriah was so looking forward to classes starting back up that she barely ever noted that she had a somewhat rough break with all the excitement going on at the Apartment and around the Ministry with the Elections going on. As awesome as it sounded, Miriah could barely focus on politics long enough to really care. "See you later Hadan." Miriah told her sister as she opened her book and began to read read while pulling her suitcase along, she really wanted to finish this book before Dinner came along and the only way to do that was to read non-stop. However since she was enveloped in her book she had yet to notice that she had suddenly stopped walking to read it with her suitcase still clutched in her other hand, and she also ignore all the students bustling into the castle around her. Basically, Miriah was lost to the world as she stood in the middle of the Entrance Hall, reading happily.

It was a day that Aiden never thought he would see come. His years in Durmstrang had been ones he had enjoyed. Not that Aiden was one to enjoy school, in fact – he despised it. When he had to come out of Durmstang he begged and pleaded that he could at least be home schooled so he wouldn’t have to endure the atmosphere that he had come to despise so much. From day one Aiden had never liked school and it had remained like that, six years on. Despite not liking school, leaving Durmstrang was a low point for him, outside of all of the academic whooha that Aiden didn’t care about he had enjoyed his time there. He was a big player on the Quidditch Team, had number of close friends and any amount of girls that he could have whenever he wanted – he was going to miss that the most in his opinion. Although, seeing as he had to come back to school he was glad he had the opportunity to return to HNZ. It was where he had started school and would be where he would finish it. He had a lot of memories with the hallowed halls of HNZ, some good and a lot more; not so good.

He wasn’t sure how his return would be taken with the people in his year; he hadn’t exactly had the best relationship with most of them. As he entered through the big wooden doors and stepped on to the marble floor of the Entrance Hall, he looked about at his old school and a smirk instantaneously crossed his face. He was far from happy to be back but whatever way his return would be received he was sure going to have fun now that he was back. Dropping his bags on the ground there was a loud noise as the suitcase made contact with the marble floor. “Damnit!” he said out loud in Bulgarian. Turning towards the house elf which had been carrying his suitcase. “Stupid elf. Take it to my room.” he kicked the elf before it whimpered off which is things. He had arrived a bit later than all the other people returning from Christmas break and as he looked around he saw that there were only a few people walking around, So many new faces. He thought as he stuffed his hands into his pockets and began the ascend to the Gryffindor Common Room; home once more.

Miriah herself was about to head to the Ravenclaw Common Room so she could unpack and get settled in before Dinner started but then she heard a voice that made her freeze right in her tracks. Turning her head softly to see if her mind was playing tricks on her or not Miriah groaned when she saw that her mind was indeed not playing any tricks on her. They seriously let that idiot this school? Turning around with a look of displeasure on her face she realized she was a lot closer to Aiden then she would have liked, maybe if she was really lucky he would be deaf or blind and not see her because he was definitely the last person she really wanted to be speaking with. "I'm very surprised They actually let you into Hogwarts. Then again with your brain and working skills you'll be right back in Durmstrang before you know it." Miriah commented out loud as she closed her book and tucked it underneath one of her arms. She had already dealt with Aiden Lorka for the past few years at Durmstrang and now she had to put up with him here, what the hell made life think it could be so cruel to her for no reason. Miriah raised an eyebrow as she watched the poor House Elf carry his things to wherever after his poor treatment to the thing, she couldn't help but shake her head at the whole scene. People never really changed did they?

"Did you run out of people to pick on at Durmstrang or something? What the hell are you doing here?" A part of Miriah thought Aiden was beyond cute and such, but there was also a part of her that also wanted to smack the daylight out of him. And that part was much stronger than the other, he was nothing but a pain in the butt for her to deal with so she in return showed him nothing but bitter greetings and glares. Miriah had better things to do then to fawn over idiotic boys anyways, and that was how she was going to keep thinking until she actually ran out of excuses not to talk to one. With a soft roll of her ruby red eyes Miriah took a hold of her suitcase and was getting herself ready to turn and leave before things blew up in her face, chances were that he was going to ignore her anyways.

After one more scan of the Entrance Hall, Aiden shrugged his shoulders, nothing had changed and the excitement of returning to Hogwarts had left as quickly as it came. With a bored expression on his face he bent down to pick up his duffle bag which held a few things more important to him and that he preferred to keep close to him, instead of the hands of the house elf carrying his suitcase. As he started straightened his back he heard an all too familiar voice, causing him to stop in mid rise. Tilting his head to the side he caught a glance of a pair of ruby eyes he hadn’t seen in a while. Keeping his eyes locked on the girl in front of him he slowly began to rise again to his full height; which easily over towered a lot in his year. A small smirk formed on his lips as he listened to the girl ramble on. Usually he wouldn’t stand for anyone talking to him like this, especially not a girl but this girl was different; Aiden found it amusing.

With everything that had been going on at home over the past few months and the holidays Aiden had almost forgotten that with his returning to Hogwarts he would be reunited with Miriah again. Of course she hadn’t told him herself that she was going here but it was easy to find out what he wanted to know. Chuckling softly he took a few strides over to Miriah. “Well hello to you too, bookworm.” he asked playfully, using his favourite nickname for her. Although, it was a fair nickname, even now she had a book in her hand. When Aiden first arrived at Durmstang he kept himself to himself mostly but the second year he was there he was much more himself and with that came his flirting ways. Miriah, of course, had been one of his conquests; and why not, she was a very attractive girl there was no denying that – but she was also one of the very few that hadn’t fell for it. Although his interest in her didn’t stop after that, far from it, he found her quite fun to tease, she was a very easy target in his eyes. “Aren’t you a little ray of sunshine?” He continued. “Well, to be honest I couldn’t bare being away from you for another year so I’m back, aren’t you happy?” he loved playing with her.

Miriah narrowed her Ruby eyes even further and took a few smaller steps backwards when Aiden took a few strides over towards her, she didn't like the idea of him getting that close to her. Mostly due to the way he handled and treated other females, him being closer was nothing but trouble as long as she was a walking, breathing, female. "Least I can actually read." Miriah retorted back as she crossed her arms over her chest and gave him a snarky smile. Even though most people would probably hate the nickname and get upset whenever they were called the name by someone, in a way Miriah sort of liked it. It meant that someone out there was at least sort of paying attention to her, another part of her hated it because she knew it meant that he was making fun of her for liking books and being smart. What was it about Aiden that made her hate him but not hate him at the same time, right now he had literally just ruined and made her day all in the span of less than ten seconds. "Not really, glad to see your still just as much of a pain in the a** though." Miriah spat back when he claimed something about her being a little ray of sunshine, she was anything but and he probably knew that from going to school with her for quite awhile. The first year he had arrived at Durmstrang he was semi-tolerable but once the creep got settled in he was nothing but an annoying womanizer. Miriah could only wonder how many girlfriends he was going to have in this school, the girls would be sure to flock to him.

Raising an eyebrow gently Miriah snorted, she hoped he was kidding about that because it made her heart flutter far more than she had wanted it too. Even though there was probably natural chemistry there she was going to try and ignore it. Miriah sort of had interest in someone at Hogwarts as well but it would never work out, maybe that was a good thing or maybe it was a bad thing. But Miriah didn't want to become part of Aiden's flirt circle nor did she want him to think she was a loser who never had any guys interested in her...which she was. So without really trying to be honest she opened her mouth gently and spoke. "I actually couldn't be more annoyed. Your really annoying, you lack any kind of smarts, and on top of that I have a boyfriend who give me all the company I need. So go ahead and feel free to go back to Durmstrang anytime now." Miriah didn't really have a boyfriend but still, the words came out before she could stop them and suddenly she found herself feel very self-conscious. Miriah was going to force herself to believe that Aiden was nothing but trouble for her, even if his wordslies flattered her.

Aiden noticed Miriah back away from him as he got closer to her. Now he could just keep walking towards her until she had nowhere else to go or stay back just a bit; where would the fun be if he scared her off before he had any fun. Opting to stay back just a bit he laughed at her comment, at least she hadn’t changed in the years they hadn’t seen each other. “You’re comebacks are as good as ever I see.” he said, the smirk on his lips only getting wider – it almost looked like a smile. Even though he insulted her comebacks he enjoyed her doing it. There was something about seeing Miriah angry that he liked. Ever since she had rejected him, Aiden had found things about her more interesting which in turn made him annoy her more and more. For someone who had their nose stuck in a book pretty much 24/7 and didn’t take much notice of the outside world, Miriah was feisty. She always had a comment to anything he said and it wasn’t always something you would expect from a goody good like her. Although he much preferred her having a bit of a sharp tongue than just taking it like some sort of pathetic wimp. “Such hurtful words, Miriah. And all this time I thought you cared.” he said, overdramatically, his face broke for a few seconds to show some amount of sadness before returning to the smirk with a gleam of mischievousness in his eyes.

Aiden wasn’t surprised when he heard a light snort coming from Miriah. Of course he wasn’t being serious when he asked her if she missed him. He would have been more surprised if she had she that she had missed him; that would have just ruined the special relationship they had with each other. Unless of course she was being sarcastic which he would have been able to tell a mile off when it came to Miriah. Aiden folded his arms over his chest as he listened to Miriah down right insult him in the middle of the HNZ Entrance Hall, this wasn’t how he had expected his return to his old school – it was much better. Although Miriah out did herself and put and nice little spanner into the mix. “A boyfriend? Oh do tell!” he said, interested at who was the person that had succeeded where he had failed at getting Miriah’s interest. He would of course have to be someone pretty spectacular because Aiden had went all out for Miriah and had no such luck. “Anyway, I couldn’t go back to Durmstrang even if I wanted.” he said with a small shrug of his shoulders.

Miriah wanted to slap the Smirk of Aiden's face as it seemed to get even widen then it was before, he was probably enjoying this way too much and thats what upset her about this. "Wipe that disgusting smirk off your face Lorka. I've never cared for you." Miriah rolled her ruby red eyes, that was sort of a lie because there were points when she purposely sought him out just to see what he was up to when she often wore it off as just wanting to make fun of someone. But she would never, ever tell Aiden that because he was pretty much a womanizer and a jerk and Miriah refused to be part of his harem ever. He had tried to hit on her once she believed, or maybe it was just her imagination but she had never shown interest in him, simply because at first he had caught her at a bad time and after a bit she realized what he was really like. Miriah was still semi on her crush on Charles Fera from Durmstrang, she knew he was also nothing but a giant jerk but there was something about him that made her heart flutter everytime she saw him or heard his name being mentioned. However the brunette hadn't seen him since the end of summer last year in Bulgaria so she sort of forgot about him for some time. Theodore had sort of replaced him for a little bit but it didn't last long because he was so far off limits that it was scarcely fair to everyone else since he wasn't a typical guy with the way he treated girls. He was very anti-social though, and happened to have rude little friends. Miriah went to adjust her book so she could hold it more easily but when it slipped out of her grasp she rolled her eyes and bent down to pick it up before she ripped open her bag and shoved it inside.

"His names Theodore Snow, doubt you'd know him though. And..why couldn't you go back?" Miriah prayed he wouldn't know Theodore actually because if it was one person she didn't want to have to face was him about all of this. He was not tolerant of getting pulled into drama and she knew this, but she just had to say someone's name. And his name was the first that came out just because for some reason she foolishly thought that Aiden didn't know who he was. The second part of her statement was actually softer, but it was also curious. Why couldn't he go back even if he wanted? did he run out of girls to screw with so he had to come here?

Pulling his hands up in front of him with his as if he was scared when Miriah started to shout at him again. “Meow! Fiesty!” he said with a laugh. Hogwarts must have done some good for Miriah as she was never like this back at Durmstrang. Sure she would give off to him when he would annoy her but she seemed to have so much more fire in her now-a-days. Even her ruby eyes seemed darker, more redder as if there was a fire behind them, burning with rage for Aiden.

It was in his first lesson at Durmstrang, Dark Arts. Aiden had never experienced a class like this before having only ever studied Defence Against the Dark Arts. Although to him it was like every other class so he would probably just let his mind wander and not pay any attention to the Professor. Entering the classroom his eyes scanned the room he took in the faces of his new classmates. Everyone was so different from Hogwarts, he could sense how much colder they were just by the looks on their faces, for the most part Aiden could tell he would like it here. Bringing is gaze back up to the front of the class he saw a girl who looked a lot different than everyone else, but the thing that had immediately caught his attention was her eyes. He had never seen red eyes before in his life so he was immediately intrigued. Although class began and he was shown to his seat and since then Miriah had always been his favourite person to bug.

He was brought out of his daze when he heard a slam on the ground. He shuck his head to gather his thoughts again and saw Miriah bending down to pick up her book. Resuming his normal stance he looked at her as he waited for her to reveal who her boyfriend was. Although when he heard the name he continued to just stare at her. He recognised the name straight away, it was it was kind of hard to forget the boy you dispised for all your years at Hogwarts, even if it was only a few. “Snowboy?! What on Earth were you thinking Miriah! He’s a prick!” he practically shouted. That boy seriously did no good for Aiden, he hated him and Aiden had no doubt in his mind that Theodore felt the same way. By this point Aiden was fuming but the one question that went over and over in his mind was, Why would she choose Theodore over me?! Not that he cared, but he was just curious. Aiden was so angry that he had almost forgotten to answer her question. “Something about dad being sick and him wanting us closer to home…took him long enough to actually care about us.” he said with a roll of his eyes. Aiden didn’t care much for his father and now he was an adult he would be right out of there come the holidays.

"What? Are you mocking me now?" Miriah asked after a moment when she heard Aiden comment about her being feisty and like a cat or something because of the way she was speaking to him a moment ago. Her hands rested themselves on her hips as she stared at him angrily, why was he not affected by any of this fighting or being mean to him because honestly she wanted him to react. Miriah wanted to see Aiden actually take in what she said as something other than amusement, even though she loved being picked on by him because it meant that for a moment or so someone was paying more attention to her than they were to her sister or anyone else and that was rare for such a thing to happen. So no matter how much Miriah claimed she hatred it secretly she wanted more and more, she wanted Aiden to tease her. Though there was a limit to how much she wanted to be teased, pretending to be flirty and like her when she knew they didn't really upset her too. "You seem to be getting the biggest kick out of this too! It's not at all funny Aiden!" Miriah managed to get out before she set her bag down on the ground next to her, she was tired of holding it by this point and wanted the weight to be gone for just a moment or two. All the being angry and yelling was started to make her head hurt a little. A few students passed by her and she could do nothing but glare at them before she turned her face back to Aiden's her ruby eyes locking with his blue ones.

"Excuse me? If you had spoken to him recently you would know he has changed. He's not mean to me, he bothers to hang out with me, he actually does his schoolwork, and I have to say..he's not to bad looking either." Miriah smiled at the last part, she had to admit he was a very cute guy for someone who scowled all the time and looked as if he hated the world. Glancing at Aiden she had to admit he was really cute too, for a prick. What she was really a sucker for was his eyes, he had such pretty eyes. When a smirk started to form Miriah shook her and lightly scolded herself for even thinking of him in that way. "I'm sorry to hear about your dad Aiden, he needs to treat you guys better but...at least you have a dad." She actually sort of felt bad for him until she remembered that she didn't have a father either, all her family except for Hadan was now dead and that is why even though she was very jealous of her sister she loved her so much. Biting her lip softly she averted her gaze from Aiden.

“Wow Johnson, you learn fast!” He said with a smug smirk on his face as he crossed his arms over his chest. Oh how he had missed this, sure there was plenty other people at Durmstrang that he would have an argument or fight or whatever you wanted to call it; but none of them were Miriah. There was something about arguing with her that gave him great pleasure, it was much more fun. The only thing that he could think off to reason this was because she was such a bookworm, quiet most of the time, so when he saw her in a completely different light he found it amusing. When Miriah observed how he seemed to be enjoying this a bit too much he shuck his head in laughter, “Oh but it is Miriah, it is!” he told her. He had been back in Hogwarts no more than five minutes and already he was having it out with someone. What made it better was that it was someone from his past that he did this on a regular basis with. “It’s as if nothing’s changed since you’ve been away for the past few years.” he admitted. “Oh and thanks for telling me about you leaving by the way, you’re lucky I had sources so I didn’t have to worry about you.” he said, his voice remaining at a steady pitch so it was hard to tell if he was being sarcastic or sincere, especially as it was a mixture of both.

Aiden couldn’t believe what he was hearing as Miriah spoke about Theodore. He had no reason to not believe Miriah when she said those things about Theodore but Aiden just downright didn’t like the boy so he refused to believe them. “And I thought you were smart Miriah.” he said with a grimace on his face. It didn’t bother him if Miriah dated anyone but the fact it was Theodore made him more annoyed than he probably should be. He shuck his head once more in disbelief. “I actually thought you would go for someone better than Theodore Snow….you probably deserve someone better too.” He told her, although he mumbled the last part slightly. When Miriah offered a bit of sympathy to Aiden in regards to his dad he nodded his head as if to say thanks. Aiden didn’t care for his dad, he was just worried how Giselle would be if anything were to happen to him. “Yeah, sorry about your dad but I wouldn’t really call my dad the best father figure in the World. Plus, I’m not too sure how much longer I’ll have a dad for.” he added when Miriah added how he at least had a father.

Theodore tugged his light suitcase behind him as he made his way into the castle entrance to begin yet another Semester of school at Hogwarts, what a life huh? He had thoroughly enjoyed his break away from all the school work and Quidditch practices going on during the year that were probably going to pick back up once the week was good and over with. The Hall was already sort of busy with random students all headed off to wherever they needed to be but Theodore ignored the majority of them, the Prefect badge he had been honored with earlier this year was easily seen on his Slytherin Robes but he didn't take a huge pride in it like everyone else often did. After all to him it was only a Badge that meant he had a bit of authority in the school but it wasn't like his life-long dream was to become a Prefect. He was thankful but he wasn't going to be a prideful snot about it like some of the others were. Theodore's attention had been on the ground instead of looking ahead of him like he should have been so when he almost crashed into someone he sighed and stopped before raising an eyebrow and wincing when he heard someone yet. "Whoa Miriah, tone it down a little will you." It was rare for Theodore to call people by his first name but he knew Hadan and her sister a bit more than he knew most people so he tried his best to refer to them by their real names as much as possible. Turning his green eyes over to whoever Miriah was yelling at and rose an eyebrow when he saw who it was.

"Your wasting your time yelling at him you know, just forget it." Theodore saw that is was none other than Aiden Lorka, someone he knew quite well and even though he didn't like the guy he wasn't going to go out of his way to make fun of him because Theodore had grown up and was better than that. He set his suitcase down and crossed his arms over his chest before he smirked, Aiden looked like he was enjoying himself while Miriah was fuming. "What's going on? Let her be Aiden, it's bad enough she has to look at you let alone be bothered by you as well." Theodore stated softly, trying to keep an eye on the two of them as he tried to break up what appeared to be a fight of some sort. Blonde hair fell into Theodore's face before he flicked it out, he had changed since the last time Aiden had seen him. Theodore was much taller, bigger, and older looking now. Theodore was also an engaged man too, something he knew very few boys his age ever were.

Miriah opened her mouth to say something but froze when she realized she sort of had nothing to say when Aiden said his last comment, to be honest his reply sort of three her off to the point where she had nothing to do but close her mouth once again and glare at him. "Oh, I doubt you actually cared or worried about me after I left. You probably didn't even know I was gone. Nothing has changed at all Aiden." Miriah stated bitterly, she knew that no one missed her at Durmstrang especially when the day she left she waited around for someone to come by and see but no one stopped by all to even say goodbye to her so she knew sure as hell that no one at that school really missed her. Her feelings were almost hurt by even the mere suggestion of him trying to act like he missed her and everything. After a moment Miriah was able to regain herself and calm down before she brushed some of the hair out of her face and willed herself to not hit him, not to cry, and not to completely start to tear things apart with how upset she was getting with everything. He even thought it was funny that she was getting so upset with him and everything, no wonder this guy went through girlfriend like a whirlwind, he probably made all of them cry by making fun of them too much. When the ruby-eyed beauty felt someone almost run into her along with that familiar voice she turned a light shade of red.

"T-Theodore..hey." Miriah had probably almost spoken to him maybe once or twice before this but she was going to act as if she had spoken to him everyday of her life, she needed this to work if Aiden was going to believe her at all. He looked a little grouchy as she looked at him and could only wonder where Aleyha was at the moment. When Theodore snapped at Aiden like so she not only wanted to hug him to death but also to hit him at the same time for being so rude, she didn't hate Aiden but he was just really mean to her a lot of the time. "Um Aiden you know Theodore right?" Miriah looked at Theodore as if he were the greatest person in the world, all part of her act not to get found out or anything. If Aiden knew she was undesirable even here he would probably give her so much crap. Then again why did she care at all what Aiden thought about her?

Aiden was about to make a comment on Miriah’s words. Of course she was far from the truth, for a smart girl she was wrong on a number of accounts. Aiden had obviously noticed that she was gone, it was hard not too. When one grew accustomed to interacting with someone everyday, be it a friend or an enemy or whatever Aiden and Miriah were, you soon noticed if they were gone. Aiden had given it a few days before he had started to ask around, thinking that maybe she was sick or something; he didn’t really know what to think. It was only by chance that he was a friendly enough with one of his older friends who had gotten a position as Professor – In – Training in the school and had access to a bit more information than he had. She was right about one thing though, nothing had changed. From the moment they locked eyes on each other they hadn’t said a nice word to each other (unless Aiden’s sarcastic words counted, which he doubted), not even a hello between them.

Although Aiden never got to speak his mind as someone quickly entered their space. Aiden rolled his eyes when he saw someone bump into Miriah out of the side of his eyes without even looking at the person, he just stood there with his arms crossed over his chest and tapped his foot as he waited for the person to leave so Aiden and Miriah could continue their ‘conversation.’ Even as the boy talked to Miriah he didn’t look up, the voice sounded a bit familiar but he couldn’t quite place it. Although when the boy addressed Aiden he looked up with his eyes frowned, what right did a complete stranger have to judge him? When his blue eyes met the figure that had interrupted the two Aiden felt his blood beginning to boil even more so than it had when just talking about him. With his fists clenched Aiden stared at Theodore with his face showing his hatred and dislike for the boy. “I think Miriah can decide who she does and doesn’t want to talk too for herself.” he spat back at Theodore. “Oh yeah, we go way back!” Aiden answered Miriah. He still couldn’t see what Miriah saw in Theodore but as Aiden saw her cheeks go a light red in a blush he figured something must be going on between them. And the look she gave him, it almost made him sick to see her look at him that way.

Theodore raised an eyebrow curiously as he kept his toned arms crossed over his chest and his face plain, from the way they spoke to one another it sounded as if they knew each other or something. Then again Miriah had gone to another school before this so maybe they were classmates there or something since he knew at one point Aiden had moved away as well. Listening to these two bicker made Theodore miss Aleyha, she used to fight with him all the time and he hadn't seen her all day yet so they would have some catching up to do. "He's not kidding, and Miriah I'll give you a heads up on him now. He's trouble..stay away from him." Theodore muttered carefully before he went to re-grab his suitcase and give Aiden a look that said he didn't really want to be bothered right now. He was merely warning the girl about possible heartbreak before it happened so she didn't end up like his sister did. Before he turned to walk away he heard Aiden mutter something else that made him turn his head back to the two of them, what was up with Aiden? He seemed really defensive about the whole subject for some reason and it made Theodore very curious to know what was up. Since he had grown he did learn to came more about others than over himself, maybe it was something he could help with..or not.

"Well she doesn't seem to like you too much but...why so defensive about this?" Theodore asked curiously as he flicked some more of his hair out of his eyes and shifted from foot to foot waiting for an answer. Theodore wanted this to just be over so he could go find Aleyha but really who could pass up a moment to see an old enemy sweat with nerves? Maybe he really hated Miriah and hated that someone was defending her?

Miriah didn't really understand fully what was going on between either of the guys because she had only been at this school a short time and was around when Aiden and Theodore used to know each other. They really seemed to dislike eachother for some odd reason and she wanted to know what was up. "He's trouble? H-how his he trouble?" Miriah asked worriedly to Theodore, what she didn't realize was that he was trying to pull her or make her distance herself from Aiden so she wouldn't talk to him, she didn't know what happened between Aiden, Alyssa, and Theodore all those years ago. A part of her didn't believe that he could be that bad aside from the fact that he could be a huge jerk at times and that he loved to pick on people. In the end she sort just wrote him off as a bully and nothing really more than that. She shifted uncomfortably as she tried to decide whether or not lying and saying Theodore was her boyfriend was a good idea, as much as she liked him they weren't acting very couple like. Besides he was probably going to be too into his actual girlfriend later and would probably ruin things.

"Both of you need to stop." Miriah stated as she looked between the two of them worriedly, she didn't want either of them to get hurt nor did she want any of them to hate one another on their first day back from break. Theodore seemed fairly calm and it was as if none of this bothered him at all. But Aiden was getting angrier and angrier and she didn't really understand why he was, it wasn't like he cared about her and Theodore anyways.

Aiden’s blue orbs shifted between Theodore and Miriah. He could notice how Miriah looked at Theodore with clear admiration in his eyes but he also noticed how Theodore had almost no feeling in his eyes when he looked at Miriah; as if he didn’t care. Aiden knew that there was something not right about that relationship the moment Miriah told him that the two were dating, Theodore didn’t even care about the girl. Even though he felt sorry for Miriah, that she was just setting herself up for heartbreak, he was happy that he was right about something; Theodore wan’t good enough for Miriah and that she deserved someone better who would actually care about her. Aiden simply snorted as he rolled his eyes at Theodore’s comment. Of course he would say that about him; heck Aiden felt the exact same way towards Theodore but Aiden knew all too well that Miriah could probably judge Aiden just fine after the years they knew each other. “Don’t listen to him Miriah, he’s just sore after something that happened years ago.” he said to Miriah. Aiden knew all too well that Theodore was probably referring to the ‘love triangle’ or ‘love square’ or whatever it was that had happened back in their first year. Aiden thought it sill y that it same remained a valid argument after all these years but it was the principal of the matter and Aiden wasn’t going to back down.

“So what if I am, Snowboy?” Aiden questioned Theodore when he was challenged about his defensiveness on the subject. “I think I have a right to stand up for myself in this as much as Miriah as the right to choose who she speaks too or not.” he added without giving time for Theodore to answer. His eyes locked on Theodore once again, hard with anger. “Gladly.” he spat when Miriah told the two to stop. “Why don’t you go back to your snake pit Snowboy?” he said, waving his hands in a ‘shooing’ motion in the direction Theodore was going before he started to question Aiden again.

"Once a cheater always a cheater Lorka." Theodore winked almost as if he were baiting the boy but really he was just trying to make sure that he got the point of why Theodore was so upset with him still. He had ruined a lot of things for both him and his sister and chances were high that he would easily do it again one day without little care in the world if he did or if he didn't. In truth he wasn't really worried about the past because he had Aleyha now. So far she was one of the few people who really hadn't screwed him over in life and for that he would always be thankful to her, it wouldn't be long before she would be his forever anyways. He wasn't sure why Aiden was back here and how long he intended to remain here but as long as he was Theodore knew some potential drama could start up between some people. One thing he wanted for sure was to make sure his sister Alyssa stayed away from him, he didn't like Auror boy but at the same time he didn't want this creep all over his sister either, she was easy game to any man who had trouble resisting her Veela charm. Glancing down at his suitcase he knew he needed to head out soon to meet up with Aleyha.

With a roll of his eyes Theodore became tempted to yawn. "If you say so, remember Miriah this guy is bad news so if you wanna keep your dignity now..walk away." Theodore waved the two of them off as he began to head out of the Entrance Hall and further into the Castle. It was only the first day of the new Semester and he already had a big headache which for once wasn't caused by schoolwork. All he could hope was that Aiden would not give him too much trouble for the rest of the year.

Miriah watched softly as Theodore walked off before she gave him a soft wave and rolled her ruby red eyes at the interaction between the two males that she had just witnessed. Sometimes guys were just a pain to deal with in general but this time she was just confused by what she had seen go on as they acted like they had a long history. "Cheating? What is he talking about Aiden?" She wanted to question Theodore about it but since he left she might as well try and see if she can try to get it out of him or something, chances were unlikely though. Cheaters were not something that she liked to chink about but it was heartbreaking enough to hear about. When you give your heart to someone it should be to that person and that person only, doing it with another behind someone's back was low and beyond hurtful. Tucking a strand of her mousy brown hair behind her ear she waited for some sort of comment to come from Aiden. It would be strange to have him be quiet for just this once, she didn't like it when the two of them had nothing to say to one another because it meant that she ran out of things to be angry with him about.

"You need to relax and learn to ignore his comments, Theodore's not really that much of a bad guy. Of course I'm still going to yell at you whenever because we've never really...'spoken to one another' but whatever." Miriah yawned softly before she glanced back over at Aiden, she probably figured he would be agitated that she still intended to be rude to him but oh well that was his problem. What she didn't want though was him and Theodore fighting like dogs all the time over stupid reasons. It made no sense to her and it sort of bothered her that they seemed to know what was going on and she was feeling left out.

Aiden felt like he was loosing his patience once again. It was all fine and dandy having a harmless back and fourth between old enemies but Aiden was getting tired of Theodore trying to tell Miriah to stay away from him. “Shut it Theodore! If you know what’s good for you!” Aiden would prefer that his past stay where it was, he wasn’t a fan of old ghosts coming out of his closet to haunt him, especially when he had started to move on with his life. Aiden couldn’t care less what Miriah did, just as long as he knew that it was from her own accord and not because her boyfriend told her too. Urgh, even imagining the two together was enough to make Aiden’s stomach turn with complete and utter disgust. What was Miriah thinking when she fell for Snowboy?! Aiden’s jaw hardened as he ground his teeth, his fists clenched. He was more than ready to just pound on Theodore but that would be too predictable so he decided to lay off just for now. Even more so because it was show Miriah first hand that Theodore was right and Aiden wasn’t going to let him have the satisfaction of being right, even if it hard for him to do. Aiden breathed a sigh of relief as he watched Theodore walked away through his narrowed blue eyes.

Taking a few sharp breaths he tried to calm himself before turning to Miriah to answer her question. He didn’t particularly want to answer her question but he knew that he could easily twist the truth to make it not seem so bad, on him anyway. Making sure Theodore was away Aiden took a heavy sigh before saying, “Back in first year there was a bit of a falling out between Theodore and myself.” Well that was an understatement but he was sure Miriah could have figured that bit out for herself already, considering the blow up between the two boys just moments ago. “Basically he wasn’t much of a man and lost his girlfriend to me.” Well there was the first part and so far he had stuck to the truth. “I started dating his girlfriend while they were still dating, I honestly didn’t know or I wouldn’t have done it but I didn’t find out until it was too late.” he finished his story. He wondered if it would be possible for Miriah to actually believe him. It had been a while since he had to play the innocent party in any story and he wasn’t sure if his ‘acting skills’ was enough for him this time.

Aiden snorted at Miriah’s comment. “Oh I can ignore them I just can’t ignore him!” He said with a roll of his eyes, the guy just really got on Aiden’s nerves, there was nothing that could be done about it, no matter how hard he tried – which to be fair wasn’t that hard at all. Chuckling at Miriah addition to the statement he shuck his head lightly. “And I wouldn’t have it any other way.” He said while giving Miriah a small wink. It was true that the two had never really ‘spoken to one another’ but it worked for them so there was no point messing with a good thing.

Miriah listened to what Aiden had to say about the whole situation between him and Theodore in the past so she could attempt and get an idea as to why these two hated each other so much. But what was said threw Miriah off completely because of the way Theodore seemed to act today. But regardless she listened and the more that Aide said the more shocked she became with every word that came from his mouth. "So you stole Theodore's girlfriend...on accident?" She asked with a raised eyebrow she she tried to get the complete story straight before she said anything else to him, even if she did want to say so much right now. A part of Miriah told her to completely ignore what he said and go on with her own judgement but another part said that she wanted to believe Aiden just because it hurt her to think that he would go low enough to steal a girl from someone like Theodore because he liked her that much. "You must have really liked the girl to do such a thing...who was she?" She might still go to this school so Miriah still might know who she is, whoever she happened to be she was probably going to be all over once again, or he's going to be all over her. It was common knowledge and it made the ruby-eyed her feel sick as hell. Why she cared whatever the hell Aiden Lorka did was against her though because she never could understand why.

"What I don't get is, Theodore seems like way more of a man than you describe. Tons of girl fawn over him and he even has a fiancée." Miriah realized that right there she probably screwed up big time unless Aiden believed that she was getting married to him or something, man Aleyha was going to be pissed. It was subtle though so it would be slim of him to catch on to it. Miriah bit her lip gentle and wanted to say something else but decided not to, now she had a sudden urge to bury her nose into a book again to prevent herself from saying anything stupid ever again.

Aiden wondered if Miriah had fallen for his story. At the best of times he was a good liar but seeing as his story was partly true he felt himself that he had pulled it off well, but then again he could never tell with Miriah. Even though their relationship was pretty much bugging the crap out of each other, him more so to her than visa versa, but Miriah still knew him pretty well; or at least he thought she did – so he was anxious that she might catch on to the small lies. When she started to question him again he remained quiet a bit as he thought out how he was going to keep explaining himself, once you started a web of lies it was kinda hard to stop, that was until everything back fired in your face and you had to let the truth out before it all got too much. “Well, yeah, sorta. I mean it was so long ago I can’t even remember everything.” he said stuttering a bit as he scratched the back of his neck, shuffling on his feet. “Her name’s Isabella Chaos. At the time, yeah, we did have something special.” he told her. This part was true as they did have a great relationship while it lasted. Although things had gotten messy after a while and it was very on and off, but that was in the past now, Isabella seemed pretty much over him when she attended Durmstrang in the first term of this year; a huge surprise to Aiden that’s for sure.

Aiden listened to Miriah say how girls just seemed to fawn over Theodore which quite frankly made Aiden want to hurl. The only reason that girls seemed to fawn over Snowboy was because he had veela blood in him; that stuff would make anyone seem desirable to the opposite sex, and in some cases the same sex but that was a completely different kettle of fish. He was about to make a comment on what Miriah had said but the end of her sentence had caught up with him. Cocking his head to the side he stared at Miriah, a smirk on his lips and his eyebrow raised. “Fiancée you say? Well I don’t see a ring Miriah. Was he too cheap to get you one?” he asked in a sarcastic tone of voice. He knew that there was something up when Miriah said that the two were dating but this just confirmed it as she wouldn’t have said that she was just his girlfriend if they were engaged.

Miriah couldn't help but roll her red eyes when he couldn't remember anything because it had been too long since then, she knew very well that Aiden had a very good memory for the most part. There was something obviously missing or changed about Aiden's story and although she didn't know what it was she could guess that it wasn't something that she could fully trust him about. The next thing she heard was Aiden talk about the girl he had stolen from Theodore before her eyes widened slightly, so he was a sucker for glammy priss girls? "Well then, why don't you screw around with her and leave me the hell alone you stupid idiot!?" For some reason hearing about what he and his stupid ex-girlfriend had made her angry and it made her angry to the point where she would just love to beat the snot out of the loser right here and right now. Maybe it was because she found it annoying that he messed with girls no matter where he went, this dude was probably going to end up with like a hundred kids or something one day. But no matter how much she insulted him and pretended not to care it just made her feel worse and worse about the situation. Maybe going to Hadan about all of this would make her start to feel sort of better.

"At least he had enough class to get the attention of someone you never could." Miriah stated not even knowing if he wanted to catch her attention or not but what she did want to be sure of was that he would feel just as bad as she did. Aiden seemed to be so unaffected by whatever it was that she was saying to him that she wondered if he knew her weaknesses' somehow.

So far, so good! Aiden told himself as his lie seemed to be working so far as Miriah hadn’t asked any questions to dig deeper into his past that might reveal things he didn’t want her to know. A part of him was feeling bad that he was lying to Miriah, for the longest time she was the closest thing he had to a friend after he fell out with Ivan. Even though he had every right to despise to little prick now; he may not like his half sister – Joceline – but that didn’t mean that he liked to see the two of them making out in public. Sure they had come up with the excuse that it had been a case of mistaken identity and that Ivan had an identical twin or something. Fair enough then, Joce had a reason to be snogging the face off of the fifth year, but Ivan wouldn’t have known who Joce was so why didn’t he stop a random girl who had come up to him and out of know where starting to kiss him? ....Then again it sounded like something that Aiden would have done, but that was besides the point. Aiden came back to earth when he heard Miriah snap back at him. Looking at her with his eyebrows raised; a mixture of confusion and surprise evident in his eyes. “Me and Isabella? Oh we’re over and have been for a loooong time, believe me.” he said cringing slightly. He had loved Isabella at one stage, or something very much like love, he was young back then so he clearly didn’t know what love was.

“Oh that hurts Miriah.” he said, not even trying to mask up his sarcasism this time, there was no point really when the person you were using it on was able to see through it right away. “What makes him so much better than me?” he asked. To him it was a somewhat serious question. Sure it sounded bad but he was somewhat proud of his ‘skills’ and to know that someone succeed where he failed, he wanted to know what the other person had that he didn’t.

Miriah caught the cringe immediately that Aiden gave when he spoke about him and that girl that he used to date and honestly it made Miriah roll her eyes before she turned her head to look at the hall behind her, she wanted to get away from Aiden and she wanted to get away from him now. "It sounds to me like you still like her, knowing how easily she says yes she'll take you back too." Miriah winked snottily not caring at all that she was being mean right now because she felt mean and hateful towards everyone and anyone. Ultimately this is why Miriah was alone and without a guy in her life like Hadan did, she lived in her sisters shadow and she never really wanted anyone to really get close to her in any way shape or form because people were always going to end up screwing you over in the end. Friends, lovers, family it was all nothing but a bunch of lies and she was tired of it. "Relationships are nothing but a bunch of bull anyways." The brunette shrugged her shoulders before she bit her lip and tried to think of something else rude or harsh to say to Aiden before she left to go read a book or lay down. Miriah had never had a boyfriend and she didn't really want one either, however Aiden probably had so many girls he had forgotten all their names.

"It doesn't matter what makes him better than you, he just is. I'm done here." Miriah started before she re-grabbed her suitcase once again and started to pull it towards the direction of the other hall. Miriah had better things to do than argue with this idiot who was making her feel worse and worse about herself.

Aiden was happy that he was getting off with everything he was saying, or it at least seemed that way. To anyone he seemed like an innocent party in the whole thing; which was far from the truth but Aiden was already staying clear from the truth for now so it just went to prove that his lies were working. Of course he knew that there was a probably a bad idea to lie to Miriah as she knew him somewhat better than most people so she might be able to tell that he was lying to her. Oh well she hadn’t said anything to him yet that would suggest that she had caught on to his lies so for now he was going to keep up with it. No doubt in sometime in a the far off future he would probably tell her the truth, but that was a big probably. At Miriah’s comment Aiden looked at her with surprise on his face mixed with some amusment. “I can’t believe you just burned Isabella.” he said with a laugh. “Regardless, I don’t want her back.” he told her. He had his fun with Isabella but she was in the past now. Aiden faked a frown when Miriah said how relationships were nothing but bull anyway. He knew Miriah hadn’t had a boyfriend, no that he knew off anyway, but it was a sad day when someone didn’t believe in relationships. “Aww poor Miriah. You’re day will come.” he told her with a wink. While Aiden was quite the ladies man, deep down he was a romantic and did believe that there was someone for everyone.

Aiden hated how Miriah kept sticking up for Theodore when clearly he wasn’t worth the time of day. When Miriah said that she was done here and grabbed her things then walked off Aiden watched her for a moment, wondering if it was worth going after her. He shrugged his shoulders and decided against it. He was starting to get a headache with the constant bickering...but it was good to be back at Hogwarts.

Fin!
