Mallory sat in an armchair in her manor as she drinked some house elf made wine from a wine glass. She was feeling a bit akward now that she was going to go to America to see her friend, Catherine and stay there for over a month. Catherine's wedding was about to take place and Mallory was invited and she was also asked to design clothes for the bride, she had accepted the invitation but the thought of living the manor was unwelcoming.

She would feel very akward to not get a daily glimpse of her mom, georgiana. Although Georgiana hardly recognised her daughter anymore yet the feeling of someone being their for Mallory always made her feel better. She decided she'd talk to her mom and tell her she was leaving for a month after a few days. It would not matter to Georgiana if Mallory stayed or not but it would matter to Mallory to inform her mother about this. She thought it would be better to visit Georgiana with Lizzy so she called her house elf "Lizzy"

Lizzy was busy in the kitchen preparing dinner for Mallory. Her mistress wished to eat Roasted Beaf, Potato mash and Italian Salad. Lizzy done with the salad and the Potato mash and now she had kept the beef to roast when she heard her mistress call.

She apparated to the living room where Mallory sat on her armchair and she thought maybe her mistress required another glass of wine. However she asked "Mistress, you called?"with a slight bow.

Mallory waited for her house elf to appear. As Lizzy poped up infront of her, Mallory began "Lizzy, we need to talk to mother." She took a sip from her wine glass as she wondered whether seeing Gerogiana would make her ghost scared and start crying because often Georgiana did so. "I will be travelling to Canada for a month during Christmas. I want to talk to her before I go" she said looking at her house elf for help.

It was only Lizzy, who could control Georgiana. Even Georgiana listened to Lizzy sometimes if she remembered some hints about her past. "What do you suggest?"she asked Lizzy.

Lizzy her her Mistress tell her what she wanted. It was difficult. Georgiana's ghost was very scared and started crying if anyone went near her. She had done so several times before when Mallory had tried to talk to her mother's ghost. However Georgiana trusted and remembered Lizzy. Lizzy looked up at her mistress. "we can try" she said in a low voice.

"Maybe she will be calm after all it's three months since you last visited her" she spoke looking up at Mallory. "I suggest you allow Lizzy to talk to her first. You can wait outside, then Lizzy will ask Mistress to come and talk to Mistress Malkin" she said a bit scared to go to see Georgiana.

Mallory agreed to her elf's view. It was uncommon for such a situation between a master and it's elf but for strange reason Mallory had to ask help from her elf when it came to seeing her mother's ghost. She climbed up the staircase, her long robes sweeping behind her.

The third floor was dark, she waved her wand and it lit the antique lamps that stood by each door. This floor was least visited. Mallory only came here if she had to visit her library, it was an enormous ancient library with books written centuries ago. As the whole manor had come by being passed down in their ancestry, even the library was very old. Mallory was not a reading fan, she had been brilliant in her school days but now she had devoted her talent to fashion.

The library was clean and spotless but no one went in there. There were two other rooms, one belonged to her father and Runa, the lady who had lived with her without marriage and the second room was of Georgiana. Mallory walked slowly to her mother's room and waited outside not daring to open the door. She looked at Lizzy to see what her elf would do.

Mallory walked behind her Mistress climbing the staircase with nervousness. She was scared of upseting Ghost of Malkin. Arriving on the third floor she walked to Mistress Malkin's room and stood there. Taking a deep breath she told Mistress Mallory "I will go and ask her if she wants to meet you"

With this she turned the door knob and pushed it slightly. It opened with a creak. The inside room was ruins as always. It had spider webs, the bedding was a mess. The cupboards eaten by insects. This room had been left this way from the day of Georgiana's death. The Ghost of Malkin had asked them to not touch anything and allow the state of room to be this way forever.

The Ghost of Malkin sat on the old and torn carpet that might have been most expenisve at it's time. Her legs were bent, close to her chest and her head rested on them. This Ghost liked to be left alone. She was scared of everything and anything. Of sunlight, of sounds of animals. The Ghost had suffered brutal things in her life and before she had died, the sorrow which she carried with her had effected her memory. She could not remember why she lived here, where she was, who she was but the only thing she knew was that she was in pain.

As she sat there idle like every other day, this time the door opened and she jumped, trying to hid herself under the bed. She floated through the wooden bed and hid herself under it as she trembled as she heard and saw feet coming in.

"Mistress Malkin?"Lizzy called slowly as she advanced into the room. She knew very well that Mistress Malkin would be hiding under the bed because that's what she always did when someone came into her room. "It's me Lizzy, don't be scared, please" she said in a polite low voice as she raised the cover and looked under her bed to see her.

"Mistress Malkin, please come out here" she told Georgiana.
